3 Text Entry
3.1 Input Method
Your cellular phone supports several input methods, which include:

3.1.1 Changing the input modes
During text editing, you can press the Shift Key to switch input modes. Or press the Left Soft Key [Options] and choose Input
Method to select different input modes.
3.1.2 Entering Symbols
In any input mode, press the Symbol Key to open the symbols input s creen. Use the Navigation key to choose the desired symbol and press the Ok key to select it.
3.2 Key Input

4 Call functions
4.1 Making a Call
1. In idle mode, enter the phone number.
2. Press the Dial / Answer Key to dial the number.
3. Press the End / Power Key to end the call.
4.2 Making an International Call
1. Press the + Key and "+" appears on the screen.
2. Enter the country code.
3. Enter the area code (normally without the 0 before it) followed by the phone number.
4. Press the Dial / Answer Key to call directly.
4.3 Answering or Rejecting an incoming Call
1. Press the Dial / Answer Key to answer a call.
2. Press the End / Power key to reject a call.
5 Using the Menus
The phone offers a range of functions that allows you to tailor it to your needs. These functions are arranged in menus and submenus. You can scroll and access these menus by pressing Navigation Keys.

Note: The submenus of this feature depend on the operator and different operator s may provide different services (some SIM cards do not support STK), which cannot be modified.
5.2 Messaging
5.2.1 Creating a text message
1. Select Menu > Messaging > Write message >Text message.
2. Write a message, please refer to the Text entry section of this manual for detailed information.
3. After entering text, you can access the send options by pressing the Left Soft Key [Options] and then select Send to.
4. Enter the recipient number, or choose a contact from phonebook.
5. press the the Left Soft Key [Options] and select send to send the message.
5.2.2 Creating a multimedia message
1. Select Menu > Messaging > Write message >
Multimedia message.
2. Edit the content of the message; press the Left Soft Key
[Options] can add the picture, sound and other object into the message.
3. After ente ring text, you should press the Left Soft Key
[Options] and then select Send to.
4. Enter the recipient and press the OK Key to complete

Ideas lets you enjoy your mobile lifestyle to the fullest, anytime. With Ideas, you can be updated with news alerts, get access to sports or finance information, be entertained with music or games contents and much more, while you are on the go. Before you use any Ideas applications, you need to ac tivate GPRS on your SIM card. For the activation, please contact your service provider.
5.4 Call center
5.4.1View Call History
1. Select Menu > Call center > Call history.
2. Press the Navigation Key to view different call logs.
3. Choose a particular num ber and press the Dial Key to call
the number directl y.
4. Select Delete call logs if you want.
5.5 WAP
Your phones support Web Browser. You can obtain various services such as up-to date news, weather, sport, and other information as well as other Internet services. These services are designed and maintained by WAP service providers.
Note: To activate WAP service, you may need to contact your service provider.
5.6 Facebook
Facebook is a social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around. This feature supports quick and easy access to Facebook on your phone. You can use Facebook to keep up with friends.

5.7.7 Sound Recorder
1. Select Menu > Multimedia > Sound Recorder.
2. Press the Left Soft Key [Options] and select Settings to set your preferred storage, file format and audio quality.
3. Back to the previous menu, select New Record.
4. In the recording screen, you can press the Left Soft Key to pause or continue.
5. If you have finished, press the Right Soft Key [Stop] to stop recording.
6. Press the Left Soft Key [Yes] to Save.
5.7.8 FM Radio
Note: The radio will not work unless the headset is attached. Attach the headset to the headset port located at the bottom of the phone. To operate the radio:

5.8 Phonebook
5.8.1 Search contact
1. Press Menu > Phonebook.
2. Enter the first few letters of the contact name to search.
Note: You can also press the Navigation key Down to access the contact list.
5.8.2 Add New Contact
To create a new SIM/phone contact:
1. Select Menu > Phonebook > Add new contact.
2. Enter all related information about the contact.
3. Press the OK Key to save the contact details.
5.8.3 Phonebook settings
1. Select Menu > Phonebook.
2. If you select a contact, press the Left Soft Key [Options] can send message, call, edit, copy, move, and so on.
3. Select one item, press the Left Soft Key [O ptions] and select Phonebook settings.
4. Now you can set the speed dial, view the memory status, copy or move contacts, and so on.

5.9 Email
Select Main Menu > Email. Select Email accounts to add an email account. Touch O ptions and select New account to create an email address. Now you can enter the email address, protocol, data account, incoming server, outgoing ser ver, user name, password, and account name. When you finish, the account will be saved automatically. You can now select Options and choose Activate to activate this account. Go back to the previous menu and s elect Send and receive to refresh your m ailbox.
5.10 Fun & Games
Your cellular phone provides you with several games. You can also adjust the game settings when you enter the game menu .
5.11 Settings
You can configure your cellular phone to best suit your usage preferences.

This menu option allows you to set phone parameters such as time and date, schedule power on/off, language, Pref. input methods,Encoding, Display,Themes,Greeting text,Shortcuts, Dedicated key,Auto update time,Flight mode and Misc.settings.

New Search: Touch to search for a new network. Select Network: Touch to select a network from the network
list. Selection Mode: Touch to choose your network manually or automatically.
The phone will try to register on the network, according to your preferences.
Touch it to modify your Service selection: GSM, WCDMA, Automatic.
This feature allow you to view the detail of the network information which you are using.
Touch it to modify your GPRS connection: When needed, or always.
Touch to set the GPRS transfer preference. You c an choose Data prefer or Call prefer.
Touch to turn off the HSPA.
5.11.4 Security Settings
To prevent your SIM card from illegal use, your SIM card is protected by a PIN code. If you set the SIM lock to On, you can only use your mobile phone by entering the correc t PIN code ever y time you turn it on. If you enter the wrong PIN code three tim es, your SIM card will be locked and a PUK code will be required. Contac t your service provider for more information .

To prevent your cellular phone from illegal use, you can activate the Phone Lock option. If activated, you will need to enter the correct Phone lock password before you can use the phone. When you set it to on or off, the phone lock password is also required. If you forget the password, contact your service provider for assistance in unlo cking the phone. Note: The initial password is 1234. If you want to change your password, go to Settings > Security Settings>Phone
security > Change Password.

5.11.5 Connectivity
Here you can configure the data account, and use the Bluetooth.
Your phone is designed to be compliant with Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth technology enables wireless connections between electronic devices. The Bluetooth connection can be used to listen to stereo m usic, send images, video, texts and vCards.
This function supports to manage the connections.
You can access WAP via GPRS. To get the analogue number or ISDN number information, you may need to contact your operator for the service. To get the access point of GPRS, you may need to contact your operator for the service.

Once connected, the homepage is displayed. The content depends on the service provider. To exit the browser, press the End Key.
Bookmarks
You can use this menu to save URL addresses to quick access a website.
Input address
You can key in the URL address. W hen you are done, select Options > Go to. Your phone will conne ct the URL you just keyed in. After the address is entered, you may select the URL and select Options > Go to to connect next time.
Last web address
Press to access the last web address you visited.
Recent pages
You can view the recent pages you have visited.

Settings
GPRS (G eneral Packet Radio Service) is a technology that use for sending and receiving data over the m obile network.
If the settings have made by the service provider, you may begin immediately. Otherwise, you may key in settings manually.
You can also restore browser settings here.
5.11.6 Restore Factory Settings
You will be required to enter the phone lock password to restore the phone to its original factory settings. After entering and confirming the correct phone lock password, most of the settings in your cellular phone will be restored to f actory settings.

This feature allows you to keep track of your schedule and tasks s aved in the calendar. You can also switch on the alarm with the task for reminding. To make a note and reminder in Calendar for the first time:

1. Select Add in the Task List. Then choose the task type.
2. Edit your Task by entering date, time, Subject, Alarm, Repeat and other information.
3. You can choose to turn the alarm on as the reminder.
4. Select OK and Yes to save your task.

Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) information
This mobile phone meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves. This phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S. Government. The exposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set is 1.6W/kg. *Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined at the highest c ertified power level, the actual SAR level of the phone while oper ating can be well below the m aximum value. This is because the phone is designed to operate at multiple power

12 MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY
Gong Qing Cheng Cellon Communications Technology Co., Ltd (the Company) warrants to the original retail purchaser of this handhe ld portable cellular telephone, that should this product or any part there of during normal consumer usage and conditions, be proven defective in material or workmanship that results in product failure within the first twelve (12) month period from the date of purchase, such defect(s) will be repaired or replaced (with new or rebuilt parts) at the Company’s option, without charge for parts or labor directly related to the defect(s). The antenna, keypad, display, rechargeable battery and battery c harger, if included, are similarly warranted for twelve (12) months from date of purchase. This W arranty does not apply to: Product subjected to abnorm al use or conditions, accident, mishandling, neglect, unauthorized alteration, misuse, improper insta llation or repair or improper storage; Product whose m echanical serial number or electronic serial number has been removed, altered or defaced. Damage from exposure to moisture, humidity, exces sive temperatures or extreme environm ental conditions;

The Company disclaims liability for removal or reinstallation of the product, for geographic coverage, for inadequate signal reception by the antenna or for communications range or operation of the cellular system as a whole. When sending your wireless device to Gong Qing Cheng Cellon Communications Technology Co., Ltd for repair or service, please note that any personal data or software s tored on the device may be inadvertently erased or altered. Therefore, we strongly recomm end you make a back up copy of all data and software contained on your device before submitting it for repair or service. This includes all contact lists, downloads (i.e. third-party software applications, ringtones, games and graphics) and any other data added to your device. In addition, if your wireless device utilizes a SIM or Multimedia card, please remove the card before submitting the device and store for later use when your device is returned, Gong Qing Cheng Cellon Communications Technology Co., Ltd is not responsible for and does not guarantee restoration of any third-party software, personal information or memory data contained in, stored on, or integrated with any wireless device, whether under warranty or not, returned to Gong Qing Cheng Cellon Communications Technology Co., Ltd for repair or service. This model phone meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves. This phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S. Government.
The exposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs a unit of meas urement known as the Spe cific Absorp tion Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/kg. *Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions accepted by the FCC with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the phone while operating can be well below the m aximum value. This is because the phone is designed to operate at multiple power levels so as to use only the poser required to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wireless base station antenna, the lower the power output.
