1. Introduction
VistaPix is a 10 x 25 binocular integrated with a digital camera that
is great for sporting events, concerts and wildlife activities such as
hunting or bird-watching.
Main Features:
A fully functioning binocular.
View images on your computer screen or on your TV.
Save single images as a JPG file for easy viewing and e-mailing.
With included Photo Manager software, you can transfer images onto your computer for viewing, editing and printing. Capture images at the same magnification as seen through binocular.
An LCD screen that displays the mode and number of photographs taken.
Automatic White Balance for color correction in different lighting conditions.
Automatic ( 90 seconds ) shut off mode to extend the battery life.
Battery installation
1. From underneath the binocular, slide the battery compartment lid upwards to open.
2. Install four AAA batteries into the battery compartment as shown below.
3. Close the battery compartment lid and slide the lid downward until it "clicks" shut.

2.Notice to User
Never use a VistaPix to look at the sun !
Looking at or near the Sun may cause instant and irreversible damage to your eye. Eye damage is often painless, so there is no warning to the observer that damage has occurred until it is too late. Do not point the binocular at or near the Sun. Children should always have adult supervision while observing.
2-1. When no action is performed on this product, the VistaPix will
WARNING !
automatically turn off after 90 seconds.
2-2. The VistaPix has a battery level display in the right lower corner
of the LCD. When the battery is low you will hear a long "beep".
If no action is taken,VistaPix will automatically turn-off after 10 seconds.
2-3. Please use alkaline battery for this product.
2-4. When batteries are removed, memory of images will be maintained for 30
seconds. Batteries must be replaced within 30 seconds to avoid losing pictures. Be sure VistaPix is OFF before replacing the batteries.

4. Digital Camera Modes
Press the left button Mode/Power Button (4) to scroll through the Modes.

High Resolution mode
(1280x960)VistaPix will store up to 40 images. This mode is the the default mode.
Power off mode
Self timer mode
VistaPix will take an image after 10 seconds.
2x zoom mode
Continuous picture taking mode
Press the Shutter/Set button to start recording video. (During the operation, the LCD displays "Act" ).
You can take up to 1 minute of video.
Press the button again to finish the operation.
Erase Last Picture mode
Erase All Picture mode
Low Resolution mode
(640x480)VistaPix will store up to 100 images.
Mass Storage mode
For the connection to computer using USB cable.
NTSC format TV output

Battery charge display Three scales mean battery is full. Two scales mean the battery is half full. One scale means the battery is running low and replacement is necessary.
Memory full mode
When no action is performed on each chosen mode, it will return to the photograph taking mode automatically after 10 seconds.

5. How to use the binocular
Adjustment eye-relief for eyeglass wearers
Fold down the rubber eyecups and place them against your glasses to get the best viewing result.
Adjusting the eyepieces
The distance between your eyes is called interpupillary distance.
The interpupillary distance is different from one person to another. It is important to adjust to your interpupillary distance before using your VistaPix:
- Hold VistaPix firmly in the normal viewing position.
- Adjust the barrels by pushing together or pulling apart until you see a
single circle field with both of your eyes.
Focusing the Binocular
A. Set the Diopter Knob (1) on the underside of the VistaPix to its center Point between + and - . B. Choose an object that is at least 10 meter (30 ft) away. C. Looking with just your left eye, rotate the Center Focus Knob (2) until the object you are viewing is in best focus. D. Looking with just your right eye, rotate the Diopter Knob
until the object you are viewing is in best focus. E. Viewing your object with both eyes, turn the Center Focus Knob
to bring it in best focus.

6. Method of shooting photos
Use this product under good lighting conditions, avoid facing light source directly.
Remember to keep a distance of at least 10 meters (30 ft) away from the target object when taking photo.
6-1. Photographic functions
6-1-1. Turn on Power by pressing the Mode/Power Button (4) for 3 seconds.
6-1-2. Press the Mode/Power Button (4) to select the resolution mode ("hi" or"lo").
6-1-3. Select a target to view with the binocular, and aim at the target.
6-1-4. Press the Shutter/Set Button (5) to take an image. A short beep will
sound indicating the picture has been taken.
6-1-5. The digital counter on the LCD will advance each time an image is taken.
When the camera's memory is full, the screen will display Full .
6-1-6. To erase the last image taken, use the Mode/Power Button (4) to select
the "erase last image" mode (trash can icon), and press the Shutter/Set
Button to delete image(s).
6-1-7. To turn off, press Power button (4) and select OFF mode and
press the Set button (5) to turn off VistaPix.
6-1-8. The self timer function can be selected from the LCD by using the
Mode/Power Button (4). Press the Shutter/Set Button (5) to take an
image after 10 seconds.
