de un temporizador externo o un sistema de control remoto

- Inspeccione el cable de alimentación regularmente en

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the product.

Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

This symbol means “caution, hot surface”. The

accessible surfaces of the appliance may reach high
temperatures during operation. Be careful not to burn

yourself.

- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.

- Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the

cord is damaged, it must be repaired by the ocial Cecotec
Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.

- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance should not be carried out by children
unless they are over 8 years old and are under supervision.

- Keep this appliance and its power cord out of reach of
children under the age of 8.

- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the
appliance. Close supervision is necessary if the appliance is
used by or near children.

- This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not

intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels,

connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before
handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated
on the product marking and that the wall outlet is grounded.

- The appliance will be very hot during and immediately
after operation. Use gloves or other convenient protective

equipment to avoid burns and injuries.

- Use a heat-resistant base when using the device on surfaces
sensitive to high temperatures.

- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cord. Protect
it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cord
to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the edge
of the working surface or worktop.

- Do not use the device outdoors, near a gas or electric hob, in

heated ovens, or near open ames.

- Do not operate the device after it has been dropped or if it
malfunctions.

- Extreme caution must be taken when moving the device.

- Always turn o and disconnect the device from the power
supply when not in use or if it is not going to be used for a

long period of time and before cleaning it. Pull from the plug,
not the cord, to disconnect it from the outlet.

2. BEFORE USE

2. VOR DER VERWENDUNG

Hinweis: Beim ersten Gebrauch des Sandwich-Makers können Sie einen leichten Brand­oder Rauchgeruch wahrnehmen, der durch überschüssige Schmiermittel aus dem

Herstellungsprozess verursacht wird. Die Sicherheit des Geräts wird dadurch nicht
beeinträchtigt.

3. BEDIENUNG

1. Schließen Sie das Gerät an.

2. Die rote und grüne Kontrollbeleuchtung leuchtet auf und die Toastplatten erhitzen sich.

3. Das Gerät vor Gebrauch vorwärmen. Sobald sich das Gerät erwärmt, geht das grüne Licht

an. Jetzt können Sie mit der Verwendung des Geräts beginnen.

Hinweis

Kein Essen mit Gewalt in das Gerät einführen. Bei Lebensmitteln mit viel Füllung kann es
schwierig sein, das Gerät zu schließen. Entfernen Sie etwas Füllung und versuchen Sie es

erneut.

4. Während das Essen getoastet wird, schalten sich der Temperaturregler und seine

Kontrolllampe ein und aus.

5. Wenn das Toasten fertig ist (dauert ca. 2-3 Minuten), önen Sie das Gerät und entfernen

Sie des Sandwichs mit einem Holz- oder Plastikspatel. Verwenden Sie dazu weder Metall

noch scharfe Gegenstände, da dies die Beschichtung beschädigen könnte.

6. Um sie wieder zu verwenden, schließen Sie das Gerät und warten Sie, bis sich die Platten

wieder erwärmen.

Hinweis

2. PRIMA DELL’USO

- Questo apparecchio ha un imballaggio progettato per proteggerlo durante il trasporto.

3. FUNZIONAMENTO

1. Collegare l’apparecchio.

2. Le spie rosse e verdi si accenderanno e le piastre di tostatura si scalderanno.

3. Preriscaldare il dispositivo prima dell’uso. Mentre il dispositivo si riscalda, la spia verde si

spegnerà. Poi,sarà possibile cominciare a usare il dispositivo.

4. Enquanto os alimentos estão a torrar, o regulador de temperatura e a sua luz indicadora

5. Quando o processo estiver completo (demora aproximadamente 2-3 minutos), abra o

aparelho e remova os alimentos utilizando uma espátula de madeira ou plástico. Não use

2. VOOR U HET APPARAAT GEBRUIKT

- Dit apparaat heeft een verpakking die ontworpen is om het tijdens het transport te

beschermen. Haal het apparaat uit de doos en verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal.
U kunt de originele doos en andere verpakking op een veilige plaats bewaren om
beschadiging van het apparaat te voorkomen als u het in de toekomst moet vervoeren. Als

u de verpakking toch weggooit, zorg er dan voor een correcte recyclage.

- Controleer of alle onderdelen en componenten aanwezig en in goede staat zijn. Als een

- Reinig de platen van het toestel met een vochtige spons of doek.

- Droog de platen met een doek of keukenpapier.

- Vet beide platen in met een beetje olie om het beste resultaat te verkrijgen.

Opmerking: u kunt een licht verbrande of rokerige geur waarnemen wanneer u het product voor
de eerste keer gebruikt, veroorzaakt door overtollige smeermiddelen van het productieproces.
Dit heeft geen eect op de veiligheid van het product.

3. WERKING

1. Sluit het apparaat aan.

2. De rode en groene controlelampjes gaan branden en de platen worden warm.

3. Voorverwarm het toestel voor u het gebruikt. Zodra het apparaat is opgewarmd, gaat het

groene lampje uit. U kunt het apparaat nu gaan gebruiken.

Forceer geen voedsel in het apparaat. Etenswaren met veel vulling kunnen het sluiten van het
apparaat bemoeilijken. Verwijder wat van de vulling en probeer het opnieuw.

4. Terwijl het voedsel wordt geroosterd, gaan de temperatuurregelaar en het controlelampje

5. Wanneer het roosteren klaar is (ongeveer 2-3 minuten), opent u het apparaat en verwijdert
