OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
A. To install battery
Note: Before first use, open battery door (located in the back), and remove
protective plastic tab. Slide in direction of arrow to replace with Maxell LR44, or
equivalent battery when required.
B. In COUNT DOWN mode:
1. Move the LOCK slide switch away from the LOCK position.
2. Press SEC and/or MIN key to enter time to be counted. Hold the key(s)
down to advance the numbers rapidly.
3. Move slide switch back to the LOCK position.
4. Press START/STOP key to show counting down is in progress. The M
and S will start to flash, indicating that the count down is in progress.
Press once to interrupt the count. Press key again to resume the count.
5. The alarm will sound when the display reads 00oo.
6. After the alarm stops, or after the STOP key is pressed, the last time
counted will appear on the display. Press START to recount.
7. To clear the display, move the slide switch away from the LOCK position.
Then, press SEC and MIN keys simultaneously. Enter a new time.
C. In COUNT UP mode:
1. Set the display to 00oo see step 7 above. Set switch to LOCK.
2. Press START/STOP to start counting to a maximum of 99:59 minutes.
5 Year Limited Warranty: Any instrument that proves to be defective in material or
workmanship within five years of original purchase will be repaired or replaced without
charge upon receipt of the unit prepaid at the address listed below. This warranty does
not cover damage in shipment or failure caused by tampering, obvious carelessness or
abuse.
