• If you wish to bake more, re-brush cooking surface
with oil, close the appliance again and wait until the
heating surfaces have reheated suciently.
• When the ready light illuminates again, the baking process
can be repeated as described above.
• When done using the unit, disconnect the electric
plug immediately. Keep the appliance open allowing
it to cool down.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Brush vegetable oil or a cooking spray on cooking surfaces.
• Close the waffle cone maker.
• Plug cord in 120 volt wall outlet.
• Keep unit closed and preheat until hot or ready light turns on.
• The power light will illuminate as the heating surface heats.
• The appliance must be pre-heated before using.
• As soon as the appliance is ready, the ready light will turn on.
• You can now begin using the appliance.
• Open the appliance using the front handle only.
• When closing the appliance, make sure that latch is engaged.
• CAUTION: if there is too much batter applied it will not be
possible to close the appliance. To remedy this, remove
some of the lling. Never force this appliance to close
when over lled.

Carefully pour the correct amount of the prepared batter
(see recipes) onto the center of the cooking tray in the base
of the cone maker.

Close the lid slowly, so that the mix is dispersed evenly across
the plate, and leave for about 30 seconds. Then lift the lid to
see if the cone mix is cooked. If not, lower the lid and continue
cooking and checking at 10 second intervals (cooking times
will vary slightly depending on ingredients) – be careful not
to over-cook.

Once the cone mix has a light golden brown appearance,
carefully remove from the cooking plate using a plastic
spatula. Quickly lay it onto the cone form. Wrap
it around to form a cone shape. Once the cone starts to cool
it will harden. Cones not required for immediate use should
be stored in an air-tight container.

1. The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should
be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2. The longer cord should be arranged so that it cannot be
pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
