People with a pacemaker fitted should not use the appliance and keep a minimum of 60cm

from the appliance during operation.

Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use. Not suitable for outdoor use. If the glass surface is cracked disconnect from the power supply and consult your Caterlite

agent or recommended qualified technician.

Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the

regulations of local authorities.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a CATERLITE agent or a

recommended qualified technician in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced

physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Induction Cooking

Induction cooking is a very efficient method of cooking as it reduces heat loss between the pan and the atmosphere by as much as 40%. This makes it extremely energy efficient, as well as offering immediate heat-up, unlike traditional heating methods which require time to get to temperature.

The Induction cooker works by creating a magnetic field within suitable cookware, which causes an instant build-up of heat to cook the food.

Installation

Maintain a distance of 10cm (5 inches) between the appliance and walls or other objects.

Cookware

Suitable cookware includes:

All magnetic pans such as Vogue Stainless Steel or Triwall pans. Mild steel or plain steel (black iron) pans Enamelled/non-enamelled cast iron and iron pans

Unsuitable cookware includes:

Cookware with a diameter of less than 12cm Ceramic or glass cookware Stainless steel, aluminium, bronze or copper cookware unless marked as suitable for

induction cooking

Control Panel

Operation

1. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.

2. Place suitable cookware on to the centre of the glass plate.

3. Press the On/Off button to turn the appliance On. The On/Off indicator will illuminate.

The Induction Hob will work by either running at a Power level or to a Temperature. When running at a fixed temperature, the power to the pan will reduce as the pan heats up.

4. Press the Function button to cycle between the Power and Temperature functions.

5. Press the Increase or Decrease button to change the level of each function.

NOTE - If unsuitable cookware or no cookware is present the induction cooker will beep

for 60 seconds before switching off

To use the timer press the timer button. The LCD display will switch to Timer and the

Timer indicator will illuminate and flash. Press the Increase or Decrease button to change the timer. The Timer indicator will flash while the timer is in use. When the timer finishes the hob will switch off.

To lock the control panel press the Lock button. To unlock press and hold the lock button This appliance has an overheat protection function. If the pan becomes too hot the

appliance will switch off, a buzzer will sound and the display will show “E02”. Should this

happen, wait for 10 minutes to allow the appliance to cool before restarting, as above.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance

Disconnect from the power supply and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning. Use warm, soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the appliance. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or pads. Dry thoroughly after cleaning. A CATERLITE dealer or qualified technician should carry out repairs if required.

Dompel het toestel NIET onder in water. Laat een toestel in werking NIET onbeheerd achter. Verplaats het toestel NIET tijdens het koken of met heet kookgerei er op. Gebruik GEEN kookgerei met een diameter van minder dan 12 cm. Plaats GEEN leeg kookgerei op het toestel. Plaats tijdens gebruik GEEN magnetische voorwerpen op het glazen oppervlak. Plaats GEEN metalen voorwerpen/bestek op het toestel omdat die tijdens het gebruik heet

kunnen worden.

Mensen die een spacemaker dragen, mogen het toestel niet gebruiken en moeten tijdens

het gebruik een afstand van minimaal 60 cm bewaren.

Het toestel altijd uitschakelen en van het lichtnet loskoppelen indien het niet in gebruik is. Niet geschikt voor gebruik buiten. Als het glazen oppervlak is gebarsten van het lichtnet loskoppelen en de hulp inroepen van

een Caterlite agent of een aanbevolen monteur.

Houd alle verpakking uit de buurt van kinderen. Verwijder de verpakking in

overeenstemming met de voorschriften van plaatselijke instanties.

Als het stroomsnoer is beschadigd, moet het worden vervangen door een CATERLITE

agent of een aanbevolen, bevoegde technicus om gevaar te vermijden.

Dit toestel is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door kinderen, mindervaliden en mensen zonder

voldoende ervaring en kennis, tenzij onder toezicht of met instructies voor het gebruik van het toestel door een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid.

Inhoud van de verpakking

CATERLITE is trots of haar uitstekende kwaliteit en service en zorgt ervoor dat de inhoud ten tijde van de verpakking volledig functioneel en schadevrij is. Mocht er tijdens het vervoer iets zijn beschadigd, wordt u verzocht onmiddellijk contact op te nemen met uw CATERLITE dealer.

Inductiekoker

Inductiekoken is een bijzonder efficiënte manier van koken omdat er tot 40% minder warmte verloren raakt tussen de pan en de omgeving. Daarmee is het uitermate energiebesparend. Tevens is de verwarming onmiddellijk, in tegenstelling tot traditionele verwarmingsmethoden waarbij tijd nodig is om op temperatuur te komen.

Het inductiefornuis schept een magnetisch veld in geschikt kookgerei dat onmiddellijk warmte opwekt om het voedsel te koken.

Installatie

Houd het toestel 10 cm van de wand en andere voorwerpen vandaan.

Bedieningspaneel

Bediening

1. Sluit het toestel op het lichtnet aan.

2. Plaats geschikt kookgerei op het midden van de glasplaat.

3. Druk op de aan/uit-knop om het toestel aan te zetten. Het aan/uit-lampje gaat

branden.

De inductiekookplaat werkt ofwel op basis van de voeding of de temperatuur. Bij werking op basis van een vaste temperatuur wordt de voeding naar de pan gereduceerd naarmate de pan heter wordt.

4. Selecteer met de functieknop de voedings- of temperatuurfunctie.

5. Druk op de knop voor toename of afname om het niveau van elke functie in te stellen.

NB - bij het gebruik van ongeschikt kookgerei of zonder kookgerei piept het

inductiefornuis 60 seconden voordat hij uit gaat

Druk op de timerknop om de timer te gebruiken. Het LCD-scherm gaat op Timer over en

het Timer-lampje gaat branden en knipperen. Stel de timer in met de knop voor toename of afname. Het Timer-lampje knippert wanneer de timer in gebruik is. Wanneer de timer afloopt gaat de kookplaat uit.

Druk op de vergrendelingsknop om het regelpaneel te vergrendelen. Houd de

vergrendelingsknop ingedrukt om hem te ontsluiten.

Dit toestel heeft een oververhittingsbeveiliging. Als de pan te heet wordt gaat het toestel

uit, gaat er een zoemer af en verschijnt “E02” op het scherm. Als dit gebeurt, wacht dan

10 minuten om het toestel af te laten koelen en dan kan hij op de bovenstaande manier weer worden gestart.

Druk op de timerknop om de timer te gebruiken. Het LCD-scherm gaat op Timer over en

Druk op de vergrendelingsknop om het regelpaneel te vergrendelen. Houd de

vergrendelingsknop ingedrukt om hem te ontsluiten.

Dit toestel heeft een oververhittingsbeveiliging. Als de pan te heet wordt gaat het toestel

10 minuten om het toestel af te laten koelen en dan kan hij op de bovenstaande manier weer worden gestart.

Reiniging, verzorging en onderhoud

Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het toestel afkoelen voordat u begint met

schoonmaken.

Gebruik een warm sopje en een vochtige doek om het toestel schoon te maken. Gebruik GEEN schurende reinigingsmiddelen of sponsjes. Na reiniging goed drogen. Eventuele reparaties moeten worden uitgevoerd door een CATERLITE dealer of een

bevoegde technicus.

Problemen oplossen

Als uw CATERLITE toestel een defect heeft, loop dan eerst de volgende tabel na voordat u de hulplijn belt.

Elektrische verbinding

De aansluitingen in de stekker van het toestel zijn als volgt:

Plus (bruin) naar de klem die met L is aangeduid. Nul (blauw) naar de klem die met N is aangeduid. Aarde (groengeel) naar de klem die met E is aangeduid.

Dit toestel dient te zijn geaard, met behulp van een speciale aardverbinding. Raadpleeg in geval van twijfel een bevoegd elektricien. De elektrische isolatiepunten moeten onbelemmerd worden gehouden. In geval van nood moet het toestel gemakkelijk uitgeschakeld kunnen worden.
