Inserting batteries
The remote unit uses two “AA” batteries. To install or replace the batteries, please follow these steps:
1. Remove kickstand base.
2. Unscrew the screw on the back of the compartment and remove the cover.
3. Insert the batteries observing the correct polarity.
4. Replace the battery cover on the unit and seal by re-screwing tightly.
5. When a “Low Battery” symbol appears on the part of Outdoor Temperature, please replace batteries of the
remote unit.
6. At few occasions (interfered by environment, for instance), the LCD display might be abnormal, and then reload
the corresponding batteries until it is ok.
7. After installation of the new batteries, the setup procedures need to be performed. (See Setting the remote
transmitter(s)
Setting the remote transmitter
Upon power up the temperature RF signal is sent from the transmitter to the main unit automatically. Please place the
transmitter outside in a dry, shaded area. Try relocating the transmitter if the main unit does not display the outdoor
temperature after 3 minutes.
There are 2 buttons inside the back of remote.
1) OC/OF--- To change the remote displays Centigrade or Fahrenheit
2) TX --- To test communication between remote and main unit

Attention! Batteries can be life threatening, if swallowed.
Therefore, keep batteries and clock out of reach of small children. If a battery has been swallowed, seek medical advice
immediately. The batteries provided must not be charged or re-activated by any other means, taken apart, thrown into
fire or short-circuited. Batteries need to be properly disposed of. For this purpose, shops selling batteries provide special
containers for environmentally friendly disposal. Also, empty batteries will be taken at public waste collection points.
