Important Precautions

• I f you suspect that the calculator is operatin g abnormally due to static e lectrical charge or some

other problem, press / twice to restore norm al operation.

• Avo id dropping the c alculator and otherwise subjec ting it to severe impac t.

Metric Conversion

• To enter the Metric Conversion Mode

Press k to toggl e between the Metric Conversion Mode and th e Memor y Mode .

• T he “CONV” indi cator on t he displ ay indic ates the

Metric Conversion Mode.

• To set conversion rates

Value 1 (C1) is always 1. You can assign c onversi on rates to Val ue 2 (C2) and Value 3 (C3 ).

Example: You can setup the conversion shown below.

• You can check the currently set rate by pressing / twice and then C (D).

* For rates of 1 or gre ater, you can input up to six digits. For rates le ss than 1 you can input up

to 8 digit s, including 0 for t he integer digit and leadin g zeros (though on ly six sig nificant digit s, counte d from the left and starting with the first non-zero digit, can be s pecified).

Examples: 0.123456, 0.0123456, 0.0012345
