Important Precautions

• If you suspect that the calculator is operating abnormally due to static electrical charge or some

other problem, press A to restore normal operation.

• Avoid d ropping the calc ulator and otherw ise subjecting it t o severe impact.

Power Supply

Two-Way Power System pr ovides power even in co mplete darknes s.

• Alway s leave battery repl acement up to an autho rized dealer.

• If di splay figures are di fficult to read whe re lighting is dim, re place the batter y as soon as
possible.

• Even if you do not use the calculator, you should replace the battery at least once every 3 years.

• A dead battery can leak and damage the calculator if left in the battery compartment for long
periods.
