Thank you for purchasing a Casals Electric Blower/
Vacuum (hereinafter referred to as the “blower vac”).
This manual will assist you in operating and maintaining your blower vac. This manual is the latest version.
With the continuous improvement and upgrading of
this product, the manufacturer reserves the right to
modify this manual without notice. The manufacturer
shall assume no liability for incorrect information
contained in this manual.
This manual is an integral part of the blower vac. When
the blower is transferred to others, this manual should
be handed over to the new owner.
Some important information in this manual will be
indicated in the following way (please see below). The
users should pay special attention to these instructions.
The range of CASALS Outdoor Power tools is safe
and reliable, but incorrect use of these products
may cause personal injury and or damage to your
machine. Please read this manual thoroughly before
operation as this product is required to operate
strictly in accordance with this manual.
IMPORTANT NOTICES:
WARNING: When using the blower vac, basic safety
precautions including the following safety instructions should always be followed to reduce the risk of
re, electric shock and personal injury. Read all these
instructions before operating this product and retain
these instructions for future reference.
1. GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
1.1. Do not operate this product in an explosive atmos-
phere, such as in the presence of ammable liquids,
gases or dust.
1.2. Keep children and bystanders away while operating the blower vac. Distractions can cause you to lose
control.
1.3. Do not expose the blower/vac to rain or wet conditions.
1.4. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating the blower vac.
1.5. Do not operate the blower vac when you are tired
or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
1.6. Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection.
Safety equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety
shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
1.7. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning blower vac on. A wrench or a key left attached to a
rotating part of blower/vac may result in personal injury.
1.8. Do not over reach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the
blower vac in unexpected situations.
1.9. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery; Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from
moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can
be caught in moving parts.
1.10. Do not force the blower vac. Use the correct
blower vac for your application. The correct blower vac
will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it
was designed.
1.11. Do not use the blower vac if the switch does not
turn it on and off. Any part of the blower vac that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must
be repaired.
1.12. Ensure the blower vac is off before making any
adjustments.
1.13. Store out of the reach of children and do not allow
persons unfamiliar with the blower vac or these instructions to operate the blower vac. Blower Vacs are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
1.14. Use the blower vac in accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed.
1.15. Use of the blower vac or operations different from
intended could result in a hazardous situation.
1.16. Have your blower vac serviced by a qualied repair person using only identical replacement parts. This
will ensure that the safety of the blower vac is maintained.
1.17. Never operate the blower vac while people, especially children, or pets are nearby.
1.18. The operator or user is responisble for accidents
or harzards the may occur to other people or their property.
Blower Vacuum Safety Rules
1.19. Never blow debris in the direction of bystanders or
solid objects. The force of the air can cause objects to
be blown or ricochet, which can harm people.
1.20. Never place objects inside blower tubes.
1.21.Never operate with any air openings blocked. Keep
air openings free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may
reduce airow. Do not plug anything into openings or
blowers tubes.
1.22. Never use the appliance for spreading chemicals,
fertilizer, or any other substances that may contain toxic
materials. Do not use appliance as a sprayer of ammable liquids.
1.23. Keep all the air intakes and the blower tube free
of dust, lint, hair and other material that may cause a

reduction in air ow.
1.24. Use extra care when using on stairs.
1.25. Disconnect electrical supply before opening inlet
cover or installing pick up tubes. Never operate the unit
without inlet cover secured or pick-up tubes in place.
1.26. Always inspect the area before starting the appliance to remove debris and hard or sharp objects that
can be blown or cause damaged during operation
1.27. Never operate this appliance when you are tired, ill
or under the inuence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
1.28. Always run the appliance with the blower tubes
attached to the unit.
1.29. Always work moving away from solid objects
such as walls, large stones, automobiles and fences.
1.30. Clean spaces with corners by starting in corners
and moving outward to straight areas to prevent an ac-
cumulation of debris, which could y into face.
1.31. Be careful when working near valuable plants. The
force of air could damage tender plants.
1.32. Uses for your blowers: sweeping debri or grass
clippings from driveways, sidewalks, patios, parks,
parking lots, barns, etc.
1.33. Gathering grass clippings, straw or leaves into
piles. Removing debri from corners, around joints and
between bricks.
1.34. Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before
blowing.
1.35. Use the full blower nozzle extension so the air
stream can work closer to the ground.
1.36. Only use a weather proof extension cable tted
with a coupler according to IEC 60320-2-3
Keep bystanders away.
Wear eye and ear protection.
Do not use in the rain or leave
outdoors while it is raining.
Do not touch the moving
element.
2. SAFETY WARNINGS AND EXPLANATIONS:
The unit should be
operated only bu those
who have read and
understood all the
safety instructions in
this manual. Mind the
safety of the people in
the area.
Swtich off: Remove plug from
mains before cleaning of
maintenance. Disconnect
the mains plug if the cord
becomes damaged or
entangled.
Warning! Read the instruction
manual before operation.

be thrown out with domestic
waste. Reycle them at the
special disposal centers
provided for the purpose.
