1. Turn th e sle eves of the re d and b lack bindi ng ou tpu t posts
count erc lockwise t o exp ose the wire h ole .

2. Inse rt th e device's p osi tiv e wire (u sua lly r ed) into the r ed bi nding post 's
wire ho le, t hen tighte n the b inding pos t's s lee ve to secure t he wi re in place.
3. Inse rt th e device's n ega tiv e wire (u sua lly b lack) into t he bl ack bindin g
post' s wir e hole, then t igh ten ing the b ind ing p ost's slee ve to s ecure the wi re
in plac e.
4. If you a re us ing the bana na pl ugs connec tio n, in sert the plu gs in to the
termi nal 's jack.

To use the power supply after y ou co nne ct th e dev ice t o it, s et PO WER t o tur n it on
with the power switch.
Please check all connec tio ns an d con fir m the w all AC o utl et ha s pow er be for e you
switch on the power suppl y.
If the outlet has power, set POWE R to OF F, re duc e the l oad ( by us ing a d evi ce
that does not require mor e tha n 30 am ps) , the n set P OWE R to ON . Your po wer
supply's overload pro tec tio n cir cui t aut oma tic all y shu ts do wn th e pow er su ppl y
when it is overload and res ets b y tur nin g POW ER to O FF.
Caution: Place your pow er su ppl y in a we ll ve nti lat ed op en an d coo l are a. Do n ot
block the openings at the f an su cti on on t he si de an d the d isc har ge op eni ngs o n the
other side.
Caution: To red uce t he ri sk of energy hazard, be careful not to short the output
terminal during opera tio n. Re mov e the o utp ut co nne cti ons a fte r use .
Caution: Your power su ppl y mig ht ca use TV or radio interference even when it i s
operating proper ly. To dete rmi ne wh eth er yo ur po wer s upp ly is c aus ing t he
interference, turn off y our power supply. If the i nte rfe ren ce go es aw ay, yo ur po wer
supply is causing it.

★ Connecting y our po wer supp ly to an out let that is o n a diff ere nt ele ctr ica l c irc uit
from the receiver.
