HEAVY-DUTY HEATED/AMBIENT TRANSPORT CARTS

(rear mounted heating system)

For Compartment Trays or 12” x 20” x 2.5” Pans

CONSTRUCTION...Completely welded

cabinet construction and top corners, with
outer cabinet formed to base and welded.
All seams turned in to eliminate raw
edges. Welded in place mullion
reinforcement. All fasteners are tamper
resistant. No open crevices or holes.

CABINET MATERIAL...All stainless steel
construction; 18 gauge polished exterior
and 18 gauge interior.

BASE FRAME...12 gauge stainless steel
full depth bolsters with 1”x1” 16 gauge
stainless steel perimeter tube supports
welded to bolsters. Bottom of cabinet
completely covered to avoid concealment
of contraband.

TOP RAIL... 16 gauge stainless steel 1” x
1” square tubing, welded in place.

CASTERS...8” diameter, industrial grade
semi-pneumatic casters. Sealed roller
bearing and double ball bearing swivel.
Zerk grease fittings. Plated mounted and
secured to base with tamper-resistant
fasteners and hub threads. Offset wheel­ahead pattern. Two swivel & two rigid;
two casters fitted with brakes. PH1890
has 2 additional swivel casters located at
center of cabinet.

BUMPER... Non-marking gray vinyl
bumper set in heavy-duty 3/16” thick
extruded aluminum frame with reinforced
corner cutouts. Reinforced with 12 gauge
angle brackets welded to cart and bolted
through bumper.

INSULATION...High density fiberglass,
full 1” thick foil back continuous wrap­around type fiberglass insulation in sides,
bottom, top and doors.

DOORS...Non-removable, welded double
panel stainless steel; 18 gauge polished
exterior and 18 gauge interior. Filled with
1” thick high density foil back fiberglass
insulation. 270 degree door swing (except
center door on PH1890 - 180 degree
swing).

HINGES...heavy-duty stainless steel
strap hinges welded to each door and
cabinet

LATCH...Welded-on 12 gauge stainless
steel top-mounted transport latches with
padlock provision.

PUSH HANDLES... Two horizontal full
width 1” diameter stainless steel tubular
push handles with back up plates.
Welded on to top edge of each end of the
cabinet.

TOW BAR... Heavy-duty stainless steel
tow bar; pin type tow hitch.

TRA Y RACK ASSEMBLIES... Welded-in
tray rack assemblies with slides welded
to channels. Channels welded to back
wall to retain pans during transport.

THERMOMETER...Dial type with remote
sensing bulb and protective Lexan cover.

HEATING SYSTEM...Rear-mounted
heating system, removable without tools.
Lexan covered thermometer and
temperature control knob. Enclosed cord
grip. Angle brackets welded to rear of
cabinet to prevent heater damage.
Inconel-sheathed heating element. High
impedence protected, internally cooled
fan motor. Full range thermostat
concealed for tamper resistance. Power
indicating light.

ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS...

Operates on 208 volts, 60 cycle, single
phase 2000 watts, 9.6 amps. Ten foot 3
wire rubber cord with 3 prong grounding
plug. NEMA 6-15P.

PERFORMANCE...Capable of heating to
200OF (94OC). Preheat to 160OF (71OC)
in approximately 25 minutes.
