Assembly and Set-Up
Installation
•
Do NOT place the machine on a slanting, uneven or unstable surface.
•
Place the machine on a solid and level surface to avoid excessive vibration during operation.
Provide at least 10cm clearance
between the machine and walls or
other objects on all sides.
Ensure that the machine is not
resting on the drain hose.
The machine must be directly
connected to an earthed electrical
supply. Do NOT use junction
boxes or extension cords.
Check the electrical supply cord - if
it is damaged in any way, have it
replaced at an authorised service
centre.
Unpacking
•
Remove all packaging from around and in the machine, including the transit bracket and wash tube
cushioning. Keep all packaging materials away from children. Dispose of packaging in an environmentally
responsible manner.
7kg Top Load Washing Machine - CSF7G3P and CST7D3P
Levelling the Machine
•
The front feet of the machine are adjustable for height. To adjust, lift the front corners of the machine slightly
and rotate the feet as required so the machine is stable and level. If the feet have lock nuts, use the nuts to
secure the feet.
•
Double-check that the machine is level and stable. If the machine is not level and stable, it may vibrate
excessively or move during use.
Connecting the Drain Hose
1. Insert the end of the drain hose through the
hooked hose support guide.
2. Position the hose so it is will drain into a suitable
outlet, such as laundry tub, sink, etc.
NOTE: The highest point of the drain hose must be
0.7 to 1.2m above floor level. If the hose is above or
below these heights, the machine may not drain
properly.
Water Supply Requirements
Water Temperature
•
Cold: Recommended water temperature is 10 to 23°C.
•
Hot: Recommended water temperature is 50 to 60°C.
•
Warm: A mixture of hot and cold water. The water temperature is dependent upon the cold and hot water
supply temperatures and pressures.
IMPORTANT: Shut OFF the water supplies fully whenever the machine is not in use.
Water Pressure
Do NOT operate the machine if the water supply pressure is either below 0.03MPa or above 0.85MPa to avoid
possible damage to the machine.

7kg Top Load Washing Machine - CSF7G3P and CST7D3P
Operation
Step 1: Prepare the Load and Switch the Machine ON
Load the appliance with clothing. Do NOT overload. Add the required amount of washing powder or liquid
according to the manufacturer's instructions, then close the machine lid. If using powder, there is a detergent
dispensing tray for this purpose. Connect the machine to the electrical supply. Turn the water supply on. Press
POWER.
Step 2: Select Program
Press PROGRAM repeatedly until you reach the required wash program. Options are:
•
Standard - Normal washing program.
•
Quick - Faster washing cycle. Not suitable for heavily soiled garments (use Standard).
•
Tub Clean - Special wash cycle to clean the washing machine tub and remove odours etc. Use this with a
proprietary tub cleaning agent as required and follow manufacturer instructions. Do NOT wash clothes when
using this program.
•
Air Dry - Additional spinning cycle to reduce clothing dampness after washing. After selecting the program,
to set the additional spin time, press WATER LEVEL as required. Time can be from 10 to 90 minutes - the
display shows the air dry time.
Step 3: Select Process
Press PROCESS repeatedly to select a combination of washing functions. Options are:
•
Wash - Washing cycle only.
•
Wash + Rinse - Washing cycle, plus rinsing of clothing with clean water.
•
Rinse + Spin - Rinse clothing with clean water, then spin to remove water from clothing. No washing cycle.
•
Spin - Spin to remove water from clothing. No washing cycle.
•
Wash + Rinse + Spin - Washing cycle, plus rinsing of clothing with clean water, then spin to remove water
from clothing.
•
Wash + Rinse + Spin + Soak - Washing cycle, plus a pause for soaking (good for heavily soiled clothing),
rinsing of clothing with clean water, then spin to remove water from clothing.
Step 4: Select Water Level
Press WATER LEVEL repeatedly to select the appropriate water level for the size of the washing load. A larger
load requires more water (higher water level). The water level is correct when it just covers the load of clothes.
NOTE: For the appliance energy and water consumption ratings, the program used is "standard" (or "normal"),
soak process is off, water supply is "warm", water level is 8.
7kg Top Load Washing Machine - CSF7G3P and CST7D3P
Step 5: Select Water Temperature
Press WATER SUPPLY repeatedly to select the required water temperature. The currently selected temperature
setting illuminates on the display - "HOT" for hot water only, "COLD" for cold water only, and "HOT" and "COLD"
for warm water.
NOTE: Always check fabric labels to ensure that you wash according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Following manufacturer recommendations may help reduce, colour fading, shrinkage etc.
Hot water may result in better washing results than warm or cold water, however, is not suitable for all types of
fabrics and is more costly than warm or cold water. Hot water may be more suited for washing whites and
colour-fast items, and heavily soiled items. Warm water may result in better washing results than cold water,
however, is not suitable for all types of fabrics and is more costly than cold water. Warm water may be more
suited for washing darker coloured items, and moderately soiled items.
Cold water may result in less effective washing than warm or hot water, however, helps minimise wrinkling and
fading, and is least costly. Cold water may be more suited for delicate items, and lightly soiled items. Use cold
water for rinsing.
Step 6: Start the Wash
Close the lid - if not closed, the washing machine will not perform any wash functions. Press START/PAUSE
once. When the wash finishes, the machine buzzes to inform you.
Delaying the Wash Start Time
You can delay the start time of the wash from 2 to 24 hours; for example, to run the machine during lower
electricity cost times of day etc. To do this, set up the wash as per steps 1 to 5 above, however, do NOT press
START/PAUSE. Instead, press and hold WATER LEVEL and WATER SUPPLY simultaneously to activate the
delayed start function - "DELAY START" illuminates on the display "2" shows on the display - this is the number
of hours before the machine will start. Press WATER SUPPLY repeatedly until the required number of hours is
reached. For example, setting the delay start value to "5" means the wash will start in 5 hours.
Changing the Wash Program
You can change the wash program after the machine has started; for example, to adjust water level. To do this,
press START/PAUSE, then make the necessary changes, then press START/PAUSE again to resume washing.
NOTE: Not all functions can be changed once the machine wash has begun.

The washing machine is displaying E9
E9 error relates to the water level in the machine. Kindly check the following as they may resolve the issue:
1. Ensure that when starting a load of washing, you select the appropriate water level, if there is too much
water in the machine during washing, the E9 error will occur. Please try bucketing some of the water out of
the machine as this may correct the E9 error.
2. Ensure that the drain hose is not positioned too high above the machine, the pump may struggle to empty
the water if the water has too high to travel.
3. Check the drain hose for blockages, a blockage would prevent the water from draining.
