1. Following the layout for the size of plate/platter that you are using (see the back of this page), place a divider (with the bolt on the bottom) into one of the slots (see Figure 1). In order to secure the plates/platters properly, make sure the divider is facing the correct way shown in the layout (see other side).
2. Place a single plate/platter between the divider and the wall of the dish dolly (see Figure 2).
3. Reaching under the cart, place a washer and knob onto the divider bolt and twist a few turns (see Figure 1). While pushing the bottom of the divider lightly against the plate/platter, turn the knob until the divider is tight (see Figure 2).
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for each of the remaining stack positions illustrated in the layout.
5. Fill each position with plates/platters.
Many other combinations can be created when combining different size plates/platters. For these combinations, follow these steps:
1. Determine the best layout by placing plates/platters in the dolly and placing dividers loosely in the slots. Move the plates/platters and dividers around to create the best fit. Usually, the divider will be turned so that the wider side of the divider is against the plate/platter.
2. After determining the best layout, secure the dividers as in step 3 above.
3. Fill each position with plates/platters.
