Installing the TL-5186 Battery to Start the Transmitter

Match the pair of battery PRONGS with the small holes in the transmitter. Be sure the battery is CENTERED. Gently push in the battery. If the new battery is hanging over the edge of the transmitter, it is installed incorrectly. Quickly remove the battery and install it properly.
Inserting the battery automatically activates the transmitter, there is no on/off switch.
Battery must be changed every 30 days.
VIP Note: Before removing the OLD battery from the transmitter put an “X” on it with a felt marker. Doing this will avoid you confusing the OLD battery with the NEW battery. NEVER omit this step. If you get confused you must dispose of both batteries and install a new battery you know is indeed new.
