Introduction
The Cardio Theater FMR Receiver is compatible with any FM Cardio Entertainment
Transmitter and features the ability to preset 20 FM stations. This feature allows the user to
select a preset number instead of scrolling through the FM dial. The user may switch between
presets and manual tuning by pressing the “TV/Radio” button to scroll the FM dial to additional
local radio stations.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Some buildings may block local FM station signals. Local FM stations
may only be received if the local radio station can be received inside your building.
Programming Preset FM Stations
This function features the ability to program up to 20 FM stations and number them
accordingly.
1. To activate program mode, press “channel up” and “channel down” buttons at the same
time for three seconds. (Note that the right most decimal point is illuminated when the unit
is in programming mode.)
2. Press the Channel Up or Down button to select desired FM station.
3. Press the Volume Up and Down button to select the desired preset number between 1-20
for the selected FM station.
4. Press the TV/Radio button to save the desired FM station to the corresponding preset
number.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 above until all desired FM stations (up to 20) have been programmed as
presets.
6. When all of the FM stations have been programmed, unplug the receiver and plug it back in
to return to normal function mode.
Deleting a Preset Station
1. To delete a preset station, plug the power connector into the rear of the
receiver while pressing the “ TV/Radio” button at the same time.
2. Press the Volume Up and Down button to select the desired preset number.
3. Press the “Mute” button to erase the preset station.
4. Unplug the receiver and plug it back in to return to normal function mode.

Mounting Receiver
The Cardio Theater FMR Receiver is designed to mount to any make or model of
cardio equipment.
1. Insert two nylon wire ties (provided) through the holes in the mounting bracket on the rear
of the Cardio Theater FMR Receiver.
2. Wrap wire ties tightly around the bar so the receiver does not rotate.
ΝΟΤΕ: Do not place receiver where it would interfere with the cardio unit controls or display
panel. The FMR Receiver mounting bracket may be removed with pliers and mounted with
Super Lock Velcro to any flat surface.
Powering Receiver
Power the FMR Receiver one of two ways:
1. C-Safe Cable: Most cardio manufacturers offer C-Safe compatibility. Connect the Ultra Seal
C-Safe cable to the C-Safe port located on cardio unit. (Refer to the manufacturer to locate CSafe port on cardio unit).
Note: Many CV manufacturers offer C-Safe retrofit kits for older models.
Contact your CV manufacturer for availability.
2. 9 Volt AC Adapter: In the event that C-Safe is not available on the cardio unit, use the
optional Ultra Seal 9 Volt AC adapter. A standard 110AC outlet is required near the cardio unit.
Ultra Seal Power Connector
The exclusive Cardio Theater Ultra Seal power connector, found on both Cardio Theater CSafe cables and Cardio Theater 9 Volt AC Adapters, prevents sweat or cleaning products,
from entering the unit.
1. Insert the connector on the rear of the receiver and press firmly around the connector hood
to make a complete seal.
2. To disconnect, press tab on bottom side of connector and release.
NOTE: Confirm connector hood is securely sealed on all sides.
