abgelenkt werden. In den meisten Ländern/Staaten ist dieses gesetzlich verboten. Wir
schließen daher jede Haftung für Sach- und Personenschäden aus, die mittelbar sowie
unmittelbar durch den Einbau sowie Betrieb dieses Produkts verursacht wurden. Dieses
Produkt ist, neben dem Betrieb im Stand, lediglich gedacht zur Darstellung stehender Menüs
(z.B. MP3 Menü von DVD-Playern) oder Bilder der Rückfahrkamera während der Fahrt.

Veränderungen/Updates der Fahrzeugsoftware können die Funktionsfähigkeit des Interface
beeinträchtigen. Softwareupdates für unsere Interfaces werden Kunden bis zu einem Jahr
nach Erwerb des Interface kostenlos gewährt. Zum Update muss das Interface frei
eingeschickt werden. Kosten für Ein- und Ausbau werden nicht erstattet.

1. Vor der Installation

Vor der Installation sollte dieses Manual durchgelesen werden. Für die Installation sind
Fachkenntnisse notwendig. Der Installationsort muss so gewählt werden, dass die Produkte
weder Feuchtigkeit noch Hitze ausgesetzt sind.

2. Installation

Zündung ausstellen und Fahrzeugbatterie nach Werksangaben abklemmen!
Darf gemäß Werksangaben die Fahrzeugbatterie nicht abgeklemmt werden,
reicht es in den meisten Fällen aus, das Fahrzeug in den Sleep-Modus zu
versetzen. Sollte dieses nicht funktionieren, kann die Fahrzeugbatterie mit
einer Widerstandsleitung abgeklemmt werden.

Anleitung für Fahrzeuge mit NTG2:

1. Alle Blenden des Navigationsrechners entfernen.

2. Die vier Schrauben des Navigationsrechners lösen und den
Navigationsrechner vorsichtig herausziehen.

3. Quadlockstecker des Navigationsrechners herausziehen
und diesen mit dem Kabelsatz TV-NTG2 verbinden

4. Die beiden 12poligen Einsätze im original
Quadlockstecker sowie die Lichtwellenleiter auf den
TV-NTG2 Kabelsatz umstecken. Dieser wird mit dem
Navigationsrechner verbunden.

Anleitung für Fahrzeuge mit NTG2.5:

1. Den Navigationsrechner aus der Mittelkonsole ausbauen.

2. Quadlockstecker des Navigationsrechners herausziehen
und diesen mit dem Kabelsatz TV-NTG2 verbinden

3. Die beiden 12poligen Einsätze im original
Quadlockstecker sowie die Lichtwellenleiter auf den
TV-NTG2 Kabelsatz umstecken. Dieser wird mit dem
Navigationsrechner verbunden.

Anleitung für Fahrzeuge mit NTG4:

1. Die mittlere Luftdüseneinheit vorsichtig entfernen.
Dazu ein geeignetes Werkzeug verwenden.

2. Die beiden TORX-Schrauben entfernen.

3. Nach Entfernen der TORX-Schrauben, die dahinterliegenden
Verriegelung nach oben schieben und den Navigations­ rechner herausziehen.
(In der rechten Abbildung ist die Verriegelung geschlossen!)

4. Quadlockstecker des Navigationsrechners herausziehen
und diesen mit dem Kabelsatz TV-NTG2 verbinden

5. Die beiden 12poligen Einsätze im original
Quadlockstecker sowie die Lichtwellenleiter auf den
TV-NTG2 Kabelsatz umstecken. Dieser wird mit dem
Navigationsrechner verbunden.

6. Doppel-Fakra-Stecker (GPS, Bluetooth) aus dem
Navigationsrechner herausziehen und mit der Fakra-Buchse
des Kabelsatzes TV-NTG2 verbinden. Doppel Fakra-Stecker
des Kabelsatzes TV-NTG2 mit dem Navigationsrechner
verbinden.

3. Aktivierung der TV-Freischaltungsfunktion

Bei Fahrzeugen mit NTG 2/4/4.5 ist die TV-Freischaltungsfunktion dauerhaft aktiviert, ohne
die Navigationsleistung zu beeinträchtigen.

Bei Fahrzeugen mit NTG 2.5 zum Aktivieren/ Deaktivieren der
TV-Freischaltungsfunktion im Kombiinstrument „Navigationsebene“
auswählen und die Lenkrad-Taste „Auflegen“ für mehr als 3 Sekunden
drücken. Bei ausgeschalteter Zündung wird die Freischaltung
automatisch deaktiviert.

Hinweis: Bei aktivierter TV-Freischaltungsunktion ist die Nutzung der
Navigation nicht möglich!

directly or indirectly, from installation or operation of this product. This product should only
be used while standing or to display fixed menus or rear-view-camera video when the

offer free software-updates for our interfaces for one year after purchase. To receive a free
update, the interface must be sent in at own cost. Labor cost for and other expenses

2. Installation

Switch off ignition and disconnect the vehicle’s battery! If according to factory

rules disconnecting the battery has to be avoided, it is usually sufficient to put
the vehicle is sleep-mode. In case the sleep-mode does not show success,
disconnect the battery with a resistor lead.

Instruction for vehicles with NTG2:

1. Remove all covers of the navigation computer.

2. Remove the 4 screws of the navigation computer and pull it
out.

3. RemoveQuadlock connector from the navigation computer
and connect it to Harness TV-NTG2.

4. Remove the both 12pin inserts from the original Quadlock
connector and connect them together with the optical leads
to the Harness TV-NTG2. Connect the TV-NTG2 to the
navigation computer.

Instruction for vehicles with NTG2.5:

1. Remove the navigation computer from the centre console.

2. RemoveQuadlock connector from the navigation computer
and connect it to Harness TV-NTG2.

3. Remove the both 12pin inserts from the original Quadlock
connector and connect them together with the optical leads
to the Harness TV-NTG2. Connect the TV-NTG2 to the
navigation computer.

Instructions for vehicles with NTG4:

1. Remove the centre air nozzle unit with the accordant
tool kit.

2. Remove both TORX-screws.

3. Slide upward the interlock behind the removed TORX
screws and pull out the navigation computer.
(In the right picture the interlock is closed!)

4. Remove Quadlock connector from the navigation computer
and connect it to Harness TV-NTG2.

5. Remove the both 12pin inserts from the original Quadlock
connector and connect them together with the optical leads
to the Harness TV-NTG2. Connect the TV-NTG2 to the
navigation computer.

6. Remove twin Fakra connector (GPS, Bluetooth) from the
navigation computer and connect it to the female Fakra
connector of harness TV-NTG2. Connect the twin Fakra
connector of harness TV-NTG2 to the navigation computer.

3. Activation of the video-in-motion function

On vehicles with NTG 2/4/4.5 the video-in-motion function is activated permanently
without disturbing the navigation performance.

On vehicles with NTG 2.5 select the “navigation level” on the instrument
and press the “hang-up”-button on the steering-wheel for more than 3
seconds to activate/deactivate the video-in-motion function. When the
ignition is off, the video-in-motion interface will be automatically
disabled.

Note: As long as the video-in-motion function is activated, the navigation
of the command will NOT be working!
