When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be

to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter top, or touch any hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet.
To disconnect, turn any control ‘OFF’, then remove plug from wall outlet.
12. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
13. Use extreme caution when dispensing hot steam.

SPECIAL CORD SET INSTRUCTIONS
1. A short power supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is provided to
reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
2. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and
may be used if care is exercised in their use.
3. If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used,
a. The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension
cord must be as great as the electrical rating of the appliance,
b. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a
grounding type 3-wire cord, and
c. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
4. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.

CAUTION
This appliance is for household use. Any servicing other than cleaning and
user maintenance should be performed by an authorized service agent.
1. Do not immerse in water or try to disassemble appliance.
2. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not remove the base.
No user serviceable parts are inside. Repair should be done by authorized
service personnel only.
3. Never use warm or hot water to fill the water container. Use cold water only!
4. Keep hands and cord away from hot parts of the appliance during operation.

6. Operate the appliance with the drip tray and support grid in place.
7. Never heat inflammable liquids using steam.
8. Clean the steam tube only when the appliance is not under pressure and
the ON/OFF switch is in the ‘OFF’ position.
9. Follow the instructions for Decalcifying.
