BEFORETESTING

Donotsmokewhileleaktesting.Extinguishallopenflames.Neverleaktestwithanopenflame.Makeasoapsolutionofonepartliquiddetergentandonepartwater.Youwillneedaspraybottle,brush,orragtoapplythesolutiontothefittingsForLPunits,checkwithafullcylinder.ThevalvepanelmustberemovedtocheckthevalvesandfittingsFirst,removetheknobs.Next,pullthedrippantrayforwardslightlytoaccessthescrewsthataffixthefrontpaneltotheunit.Usingascrewdriver,removerthescrews.Finally,gentlypullthepaneldownwardandout

makingsurethatyouarenotpullingoutthewires.Removethescrewswhichholdtheservicepanelinplace.
TOTEST:
Makesurethatallcontrolvalvesareinthe“OFF”position.Turnthegassupply“ON”.Checkallconnectionsfromthesupplyline,orLPcylinderuptoandincludingthemanifold.Soapbubbleswillappearwherealeakispresent.Ifaleakispresent,immediatelyturnoffgassupply,tightenanyleakingconnections,turngason,andrecheck.Checkallthegasconnectionsatthebaseofthecontrolvalveswheretheyscrewintothemanifoldpipe.Tocheckrotisserieburnerandsafetyvalve,theburnermustbelit,thenleaktesttheconnectionslocatedbehindtheservicepanel.Ifyoucannotstopagasleak,turnoffthegassupplyandcallyourlocalcompany,orthedealerfromwhomyoupurchasedthegrill.OnlythosepartsrecommendedbythemanufacturershouldbeusedontheGrill.Substitutioncanvoidthewarranty.Donotusethegrilluntilallconnectionshavebeencheckedanddonotleak
