Fitting The System.
Mount the outside camera of your reversing video system at the top end of the vehicle’s rear. The higher
the camera is placed the wider the viewing angle will be. Fit the LCD monitor on the dashboard so as not to obscure any portion of the windscreen and to give the driver a good view of the screen. It is a good idea to test the system before all the cables are hidden away and sealed up. Connect the camera to the monitor as per the diagram on page 2 and apply 12VDC to monitor and camera from a fused supply, test all functions of the system and the remote control and confirm they work to specification.
For extra safety: The additional inside camera.
You can easily connect an additional inside camera to your reversing video system. Depending on the model, the connection is made either directly to the monitor or by means of a switchbox. Playing children, four
-legged passengers, interior furnishing – you will always have a full view of what is happening in the vehicle without losing sight of the road.
