USING THE WASHING MACHINE

(follow these instructions and the washing machine will run the selected wash cycle)

1. Open the door

2. Load the washing in the drum and close the door.

Warning: Do not overload the machine. It is not advisable to wash items that absorb large quantities

of water such as carpets.

3. Add a low-suds detergent and softener designed for automatic washing machines in the respective
compartments of the detergent drawer (see chapter “USE OF DETERGENTS”).

4. Close the detergent drawer. Do not open the drawer while the machine is working as this may
cause water to spill out.

5. Rotate the programmer knob (P) to select the required programme and temperature according to
the type of fabric to wash (see: “PROGRAMME TABLES”)

N.B.: When selecting a program, the led of maximum spin speed allowed by the

program selected will automatically light up. One of the leds (S) will light up to
indicate the starting wash cycle.

6. Select the required spin speed by pressing button (H) (see “VARIABLE SPIN”).

7. Select the (C) buttons with the functions required (see “OPTIONAL FUNCTIONS”).

8. Press button (I) if required (see “DELAYED START”).

9. Press button (L) to start the wash cycle (see “START BUTTON”).

10. At the end of the wash cycle, turn the program selector knob (P) on “STOP”.

11. OWith dry hands, unplug the washing machine from the mains supply.

12. Open the door and remove the washing.

13. Close the water feed valve.

WASH CYCLE:

“EASY LOGIC” TECHNOLOGY

The electronic washing machine is fitted with an “EASY LOGIC” system that automatically
recognises the quantity of washing loaded. The machine can thus regulate the amount of water
to use for the wash and proportion the wash time accordingly, thus saving water, time and
energy. In the case where the amount of washing is less than the maximum recommended
load (see technical characteristics table), the quantity of water used for the wash will be re­duced by 2 litres for each kg less of washing. In the case of a half-load or less, the machine
will automatically carry out one rinse less than programmed.
N.B. The “EASY LOGIC” function is only active for cotton programmes.

PREWASH:

USING THE WASHING MACHINE

OPTIONAL FUNCTIONS

SPIN LOAD IMBALANCE CONTROL:

This washing machine is equipped with a special electronic control system for correctly

balancing the wash load. Prior to each spin, the system ensures that the washing is evenly
distributed in the drum. If the washing is not evenly distributed, the final spin speed is
reduced, and if the load is very unbalanced, the spin is not effected.

If one of the following buttons is selected, the corresponding LED will switch on. But if it has been

selected by mistake or you have changed your mind, simply press it again to cancel the selection.

VARIABLE SPIN:

The machine offers a wide selection of spin speeds that can be selected beforehand according to the
wash programme. To change the spin speed, simply press button (H) to select the required speed. The
corresponding speed led will light-up each time the button is pressed. To exclude the spin, select the led
corresponding to symbol , if present, or the writing “no-spin”.

NB. the maximum spin speed will vary according to the model and is indicated by the Leds on the machine.
The maximum spin speed that can be selected for each programme is indicated by the leds that light-up
automatically when the wash programme is selected.

DELAYED START:

The machine is fitted with a delayed start function. This allows the washing machine to be programmed
to start the wash cycle up to 8 hours later. The delay in hours can be selected as follows: press the but­ton to set a delay of 1, 2, 4, 8 hours. When the START button (L) is pressed, the selected led will flash
or button (I) will light up (according to the model), signalling that the function has been activated. The
machine will wait for the number of hours set to elapse and then start the wash cycle automatically.

START BUTTON:

After having carried out all the operations described in points 1 to 8 in the paragraph “WASHING
CYCLE” press this button and the washing machine will begin its washing cycle. The relative LED

will light up after 2-3 seconds, to indicate that the door is locked and the program has started.

PROGRAMMER KNOB “STOP”:

The stop function resets the washing machine. If, for any reason, you want to change the wash pro­gramme or add more washing to the load during the wash cycle, simply place the programmer knob
in position “STOP”, then re-position the knob on the new programme and press the “START” button.

Warning!! only use this function if strictly necessary and then only if the programme

to reset has been running for a few minutes. Before opening the door after a reset,
wait 2 minutes for the locking mechanism to release.

Press this button to run a short wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C of approximate duration
10 minutes. This function can only be used with the “COTTON” and “SYNTHETIC” programmes
and DAILY”

STRONG WASH:

N.B. When using this function, remember to put some detergent in the pre-

wash compartment too.

Press the button and the machine will carry out a wash cycle at the set temperature but lasting
longer.

The button is active with “COTTON” and “SYNTHETICS” programs.

PLUS RINSES:

The washing machine has been designed to reduce water consumption to a minimum. In very
soft water areas, or in the case where detergent residues are noticed at the end of the wash cycle,
pressing this button will add one more rinse to the programme.

ANTI-CREASE:

When this button is pressed, at the end of the wash cycle, the items loaded in the washing machine
will continue to rotate for a further thirty minutes to reduce creasing. With this function, the working
spin speed is 800 rpm.

NB. The use of this function depends on the type of programme selected. Conse-

quently, if the wash programme does not include this function, the button cannot be
enabled (see “PROGRAMME TABLE”).

MONITORING THE WASH:

The figure alongside shows the 4 main functions of a wash cycle:
PREWASH - MAIN WASH, RINSES, SPIN, END.
During the cycle, each of these functions is highlighted by a led informing the user
what the washing machine is doing at that moment.
After the spin phase, the corresponding led will stay lit for approximately 2 minutes;
this is the time lapse necessary before the door can be opened. At this point, the
“END” led will light-up.

* Benchmark program for energy classification, in accordance with the EN 60456 standard, running at

max. spin speed and with energetic wash button selected.

UTILISATION DE LA MACHINE À LAVER

1. Ouvrir le couvercle supérieur et le tambour

2. Charger le linge et refermer soigneusement les volets du tambour.

3. Verser dans les cuvettes le détergent en poudre (pas trop mousseux) et adoucissant pour les
machines automatiques (voir chapitre: “UTILISATION DU DÉTERGENT”).

4. Fermer le volet supérieur.

5. Tourner le bouton programmateur (P) et choisir le programme et la température désirée selon
letype de tissu à laver (voir: “TABLEAU PROGRAMME”)

Remarque: chaque programme sélectionné active automatiquement la del

correspondant à la vitesse maximum d’essorage pour ce programme. Une des
dels (S) s’allumera pour indiquer la phase de lavage à laquelle le programme
commencera.

6. Choisir la vitesse d’essorage désirée en appuyant sur le bouton (H) (voir “ESSORAGE VARIABLE”).

7. Sélectionner les boutons (C) avec les fonctions à utiliser (voir “FONCTION OPTIONNELLE”). Les

boutons pressés s’allumeront.

8. Presser si on veut le bouton (I) (voir: “BOUTON DE RETARDEMENT DÉMARRAGE”).

9. Presser le bouton (L) pour commencer le cycle de lavage (voir “BOUTON DE DÉPART”).

10. Une fois le lavage terminé, amenez le sélecteur de programmes (P) sur la position STOP.

11. Ouvrir le couvercle supérieur, les volets du tambour et retirer le linge.

12. Avec les mains sèches détacher la prise de la machine du réseau.

13. Fermer le robinet d’alimentation de l’eau.

CYCLE DE LAVAGE:

“EASY LOGIC” TECHNOLOGY

La machine à laver le linge électronique est équipée d’un système spécial qui reconnaît
automatiquement la quantité de linge insérée, réglant ainsi par conséquent les litres d’eau à
utiliser et réduisant proportionnellement le temps de lavage, pour obtenir ainsi une épargne
en termes d’eau, de temps et d’énergie.
Si la quantité de linge devant être lavé est inférieure à la charge maximum conseillée (voir
tableau des caractéristiques techniques), la quantité d’eau utilisée pour le lavage sera réduite
dans la proportion d’environ 2 litres pour chaque kg. de linge en moins.
En cas de lavages à demi-charge ou inférieurs, la machine effectuera automatiquement un
rinçage en moins, par rapport à ceux prévus.
REMARQUE: Cette fonction est active uniquement pour les programmes coton.

UTILISATION DE LA MACHINE À LAVER

CONTRÔLE ANTIDÉSÉQUILIBRAGE DE LA CHARGE PENDANT L’ESSORAGE:

TCette machine est équipée d’un système spécial de contrôle électronique pour garantir

l’équilibrage correct de la charge. Ce système, avant chaque essorage, fait en sorte que
les vêtements soient répartis dans le tambour de la façon la plus uniforme possible. En
cas de répartition irrégulière du linge, pour des raisons de sécurité, la vitesse d’essorage
fi nal sera réduite et, en cas de déséquilibrage considérable de la charge, l’essorage ne
sera pas effectué.

ISi on sélectionne une des touches indiquées ci-dessous, le voyant correspondant s’allumera. Alors que, si on s’aperçoit que la touche a

été sélectionnée par erreur ou si l’on change d’avis, pour désélectionner l’option, il faut appuyer à nouveau sur la touche correspondante.

ESSORAGE VARIABLE:

TLa machine a un vaste choix des essorages qui peuvent être sélectionnés avant de commencer le
programme.

Pour changer l’essorage il suffi t d’appuyer sur le bouton (H) jusqu’à ce que vous obteniez celui que vous
désirez; le led correspondant s’allumera. Si on veut exclure l’essorage le led allumé doit être celui qui
correspond au symbole , ou à l’inscription “exclusion essorage”.

DELAYED START:

La machine qui a un retardateur de départ peut retarder le lavage jusqu’à un maximum de 8 heures.
Les heures peuvent être sélectionnées comme il suit: pour chaque pression du bouton (I) le lavage sera
retardé de 1,2,4,8, heures. Une pression sur la touche MARCHE (L) et la del sélectionnée clignotera
ou la touche (I) (selon le modèle) s’allumera indiquant ainsi que la fonction a été activée. À compter de
ce moment, et une fois écoulé le temps d’attente programmé, la machine commencera automatique­ment le cycle de lavage.

BOUTON DE DÉPART:

Si on presse ce bouton le linge commence le cycle de lavage. Le bouton (L) s’allumera pour
indiquer le cycle de lavage.

“STOP” SUR LE PROGRAMMEUR:

La fonction de STOP sert pour remettre la machine à laver à zéro. Si pendant un cycle de lavage on
veut la changer ou si l’on veut ajouter du linge dans la machine, il est suffi t de positionner le bouton
du programmeur sur “STOP” ensuite on doit remettre le bouton sur le nouveau programme désiré et
appuyer sur le bouton de départ “START”.

Attention!! Il est vivement conseillé de n’utiliser cette fonction qu’en cas de réelle

nécessité et seulement si le programme à remettre à zéro n’est pas commencé depuis
plus de 3 minutes. Avant de pouvoir ouvrir le couvercle après une remise à zéro, il faut
attendre 2 minutes pour qu’il se débloque.

Si on presse ce bouton on aura un lavage court avec une température max. de 40° pour une
durée de 10 min. Cette fonction peut être utilisée seulement pour les programmes “COTON” et
“SYNTHÉTIQUE”e “QUOTIDIAN”.

LAVAGE ÉNERGIQUE::

REMARQUE: Si l’on utilise cette fonction, le détergent doit être versé égale-

ment dans la cuvette spécialement prévue pour le prélavage.

Appuyer sur cette touche pour que la machine effectue un lavage à la température sélectionnée mais
pendant plus de temps.La touche est active avec les programmes “COTON” et “SYNTHÉTIQUE”.

RINÇAGE SUPPLÉMENTAIRE:

La machine à laver est construite de façon à ce que le consommation d’eau soit réduite au minimum.
Pour les zones avec de l’eau très douce, ou dans le cas où l’on note qu’il y a des déchets de deter-

gent à la fi n du cycle, en appuyant sur ce bouton la machine effectuera un rinçage supplémentaire

ARRÊT CUVE PLEINE:

Si l’on appuie sur ce bouton à la fi n du cycle de lavage, le linge continuera à tourner pendant 30
min. pour réduire la froissure. Avec cette fonction l’essorage de service est de 800 tours.

N.B. L’utilisation des fonctions optionnelles est liée au type de programme choisi.
Si la fonction n’est pas prévue sur le programme, il ne sera pas possible d’utiliser le

bouton (voir: TABLEAU PROGRAMMES).

CONTRÔLE DES PHASES DU LAVAGE:

L’illustration latérale indique les 4 fonctions principales d’un cycle de lavage PRÉ­LAVAGE - LAVAGE; RINÇAGE; ESSORAGE; FIN.
Chaque fonction est mise en évidence pendant le cycle grâce à un led lumineux, de
façon à ce que nous pouvons savoir à quel point est le lavage.
À la fi n de l’essorage le led correspondant reste allumé pendant 2 min., temps
nécessaire pour l’ouverture de l’hublot.
À ce point le led correspondant à “FIN”.
