• Read these instructions carefully as
they contain important information
about safe installation, use, and
maintenance.
Keep this manual with care for future
reference.
• After removing the packaging,
and before using the appliance,
make sure the appliance and all
the accessories are working well.
If you have any doubt, do not use
the appliance until you consult a
professionally qualiÀ ed electrician.
• The packing materials (plastic bags,
expanded polystyrene, nails, etc)
should be kept away from children
since they are potential sources of
danger.
• Before connecting the appliance,
make sure the line voltage is correct.
The tag is located on the bottom of
the body of the motor unit.
• If the plug does not À

outlet, have the wall outlet replaced
with another type by a qualified
electrician. He must also check that
the cord is suitable for the power
absorbed by the appliance.
In general, it is not advisable to use
an adaptor, multiple sockets, or an
extension cord.

This produce complies with the Directive
2002/96/EC.
The symbol representing the crossed out trash can on the appliance
indicates that the product, at the
end of its useful life, must be treated separately from domestic waste. It must be taken to a recycling
centre for electrical and electronic appliances
or turned in to the point of sale when purchasing a new, equivalent, appliance.
The user is responsible for taking the appliance to the recycling centre at the end of its life,
under penalty of the sanctions foreseen by the
current legislation on waste handling.
Correct consignment of the no-longer used
appliance to a recycling centre for treatment
and environmentally compatible elimination
contributes to avoiding a negative impact on
the environment and public health, and permits
recycling of the materials from which the product is made.

- For UK only -
• The wires in the mains lead are
coloured in accordance with the
following code.
• Blue – NEUTRAL Brown –
LIVE.
• If your appliance is À tted with a non-
rewireable mains plug which is not
suitable for the socket outlets in your
home, the plug must be cut off and
an appropriate one À tted.
NOTE:
• A plug cut off from a Á exible cord will
give a shock hazard if inserted in a 13
amp socket elsewhere in the house.
To avoid this, it should be disposed
of immediately.
• If you are À tting an alternative type of
plug then the colours of the wires in
the mains lead of the appliance may
not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals
on your plug.
In this case proceed as follows:
- The wire which is coloured
BLUE must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured BLACK.
- The wire which is coloured
BROWN must be connected to
the terminal which is marked with
the letter L or coloured RED.
NOTE:
• For your addotional safety, the
appliance has been double insulated
and must not be earthed.
• Therefore do not connect either of
the wires to the earth terminal of the
three pin plug.
• If a 13 amp (BS1363) plug is used a
13 amp (BS 1362) fuse must be À tted
either in the plug, adaptor or at the
fuse board.
NOTE:
• The fuse cover of a non-rewireable
plug must be reÀ tted when changing
the fuse. Should the fuse cover
become lost, the plug must not be
used until the correct replacement
fuse cover is obtained from our
service department or stockist.

Cleaning
Before cleaning, ALWAYS remove
the plug from the mains socket.
Switch the appliance off prior to
approaching the parts that are in
movement during use.
• To clean the motor unit (1) use a
damp cloth and avoid abrasive
detergents.
Never immerse the motor unit (1)
in water or other liquids.
Never wash the motor unit (1) in
the dishwasher (À g.“W”).
• All parts, except the motor unit (1),
can be washed with warm water and
ordinary detergents for dishes.
Those parts, except the motor unit
(1), can be washed in the dishwasher
at a temperature not higher than
65°C (À g.“W”).
The blades are very sharp; handle
them with great care.
• Discoloration that may occur when
the appliance comes into contact
with certain foods (e.g. an orange
colour when carrots are blended)
can be removed with a cloth soaked
in cooking oil.
Before inserting the plug in the
mains outlet, ensure that the
appliance and all its components
are completely dry and correctly
assembled.
Before putting the appliance away,
make sure the parts are cleaned
carefully to avoid the forming of
bacteria.

After use, the electric power cable can
be stored in the special compartment
(1c) on the base of the device
(Fig.“X”).

Using the citrus juicer
• Place the disc stem (2) on the motor
pin (1a) (Fig.“C”).
•
Place the empty bowl (3) on
the motor unit (1) and turn it
“anticlockwise” until lining up the
handle with the reference spot on
the motor unit.
When you hear a “click” it means
the bowl is correctly positioned
(Fig.“D”).
• Place the À lter (8) on the bowl (3) by
turning it anticlockwise until you hear
the engagement “click”
(Fig.“U”).
• Place the cone (9) on the disc stem
(2), inserting it correctly on the À lter
(8) gears
(Fig.“V”).
• Insert the plug into the mains socket
making sure that the mains voltage
corresponds to that indicated on the
ratings plate on the appliance.
• Cut the fruit into two halves.
• Pressing lightly with the fruit on the
cone, turn the control knob (16)
to “MIN” or to “MAX” to start the
appliance (Fig.“Z”).

À lter (8) is not correctly positioned
on the motor unit (1)

• To stop the appliance turn the control
knob (16) to “OFF”.
• When juicing is completed, remove
the cone (9) and the filter (8) by
turning it clockwise
(Fig.“U”).
• Lift the bowl (3) holding the handle
and pour the juice.

Using the blender
• Place the glass jug (10) on the
motor unit (1) hooking it up until the
engagement click.
(Fig.“Q”)
• Insert the food to be blended in the
jug (10) .
Place the cover (11) and the
measuring cup (12) (Fig.”R”).
• Make sure the control knob (16) is
turned to the “OFF” position.
• Insert the plug into the mains socket
making sure that the mains voltage
corresponds to that indicated on the
ratings plate on the appliance.
• Start the appliance by turning the
control knob (16) to “PULSE” or to
“MIN” or to “MAX”
.
The appliance does not start if the
jug (10) is not correctly positioned
on the motor unit (1).
If you notice that the motor
has difficulty with the rotation.
Gradually add few amounts of
liquid.
•
If additional ingredients need to be
added during blending, you can remove
the measuring cup (12) (À g.“S”).
• To stop the appliance, turn the control
knob (16) to the “OFF” position
• To remove food residue from the
sides of the jug or to re-work them,
re-turn the control knob (16) to “OFF”
wait until the blades have stopped
and use the supplied spatula (15) or
appropriate tools.
DO NOT use À ngers.
• To remove the jug (10) from the motor
unit (1) hold the handle and turn it
clockwise (Fig.“Q”).
Tips
Insert the food to be blended in the jug
(10) after cutting it in small pieces.
• Add a few ingredients at a time
into the jug (10) to allow a correct
working and to avoid the spillage of
ingredients out of the lid.
• NEVER À ll the jug (10) to more than
1500 ml, during blending, the blades
rotation determines an increase in
food volume (À g. T).
• For better circulation of food, pour
the liquid into the jug (10) À rst, then
add solid foods. The presence of
liquids facilitates and speeds up the
processing even at “MIN” speed.
• To crush ice, it is recommended to
pour cold water in the jug (10).
- Add ice.
Pour the ingredients respecting
the following quantities: cold
water 40% and ice 60% (eg. For
crushing 400 grams of ice, pour
160 ml of water À rst).
- Hold firmly the cover (11) and
start the appliance by turning the
control knob (16) to “PULSE”.
Pause occasionally during ice
crushing and, if necessary, add 1
ice cube at a time.
•
Do not crush ice without cold water.
Do not damage the blades by
blending hard foods (coffee beans,
bones, frozen food etc).
This blender is not suitable for:
beating eggs or whipping cream,
grinding meat, mixing dough.
Do not excessively overload
the motor. If it stops, turn the
appliance off immediately; remove
the plug from the socket as well as
food content processed and wait
a few minutes before restarting.

Verificare prima di ogni utilizzo l’integrità

Tips for using the blades (4)
and the discs (13, 14)
• The blades (4) are useful for cutting,
mincing, mixing, blending and reduce
to a puree raw or cooked meat, fruit,
vegetables and salads.
• The disc (13) is useful for slicing
fruit and vegetables (eg. courgettes,
carrots etc.).
• The disc (14) is useful for shredding or
reduce fruit, vegetables and medium/
soft cheeses (e.g.: Emmental) into
small pieces.
• The À neness depends on how long
the appliance operates.
• For processing food such as onion,
garlic etc with the blades (4), use
the minimum speed or the “PULSE”
function to avoid reducing them into
pulp
• The longer the processing time the
better the À nishing quality obtained.
• The smaller the pieces processed
(max 2,5 cm.), the better the quality
of the result obtained.
• When processing hard food like soya
beans etc, soak them À rst, leaving
them to soak in water or other liquid
prior to use.
• When adding liquid (milk, broth, fruit
juice etc) to facilitate the processing,
do not exceed the recommended
quantity.
• If the result is not satisfactory:
- use the appliance at interval with
the “PULSE” function;
- stop the functioning of the
appliance, remove the cover (5)
and amalgamate the mixture with
a spatula (15) then re-process
everything;
- divide the mixture into several
portions and process them
- - Use - -
separately;
- add some liquid (milk, broth,
fruit juice, etc) to facilitate the
processing.
• Press the food into the external food
chute (6) on the cover (5) using the
food pusher (7) (Fig.“H”).
Do not use À ngers or other tools
(fork, etc.) (À g. “P”).
• If after a lengthy processing the
results are unsatisfactory, replace
the blade (or the tool used) (consult
the list of service centers).
Blending hot foods (maximum
temperature 50 °C)
• To prevent unwanted puffs of steam,
remove the food pusher (7) from the
cover (5) when blending hot liquids.
• If additional hot ingredients need
to be added to the bowl (3) during
the blending (maximum 50°C), add
gradually with a small quantity at a
time (maximum 60 ml at a time).

11) assicurarsi di aver spento
l’apparecchio.
Non danneggiare le lame e i dischi
(4, 13, 14) frullando o lavorando
alimenti duri (caffè, gusci, ossa,
etc.) o congelati.
t Dopo ogni utilizzo disinserire sempre
la spina dalla presa di corrente.
t Non tentare di affilare le lame,
se necessario sostituire l’intero
gruppo.
La lame e dischi (4, 13,14) sono
molto taglienti; manipolare con
attenzione.
t
Non utilizzare il contenitore (3) o il
bicchiere (10) nel forno a microonde.
t Dovendo lavorare quantità notevoli,
alternare ai periodi di funzionamento
sufficienti pause.
Dovendo eseguire lavorazioni in
successione o con tempi più lunghi
di 3 minuti, effettuare una pausa
di almeno 5 minuti tra un ciclo e
l’altro.

Posizionare l’apparecchio su una
superficie piana, stabile ed asciutta;
assicurarsi che tutti i piedini si
appoggino sul piano.
t Durante il funzionamento tenere fermo
l’apparecchio con una mano.
t L’apparecchio è dotato di un sistema

l’avviamento dell’apparecchio se:

For shredding, grating or mincing,
cut the food into small cubes to
facilitate the processing.

Press the food into the external Food
chute (6) using the food pusher (7)
(À g.“H”).
Do not use À ngers or other tools to
process food (fork, etc.) (À g.“P”).
While processing the food, take
care not to À ll the bowl (3) over
the maximum capacity.

If you notice that the motor has
difÀ culty with the rotation, switch
off the appliance and check that
nothing is impeding the rotation
or that there is not too much food
to be processed.
Do not press too much with the
food pusher (7).
Do not work for periods longer
than 3 minutes. Take 5 minutes
pauses between working cycles
so as not to overheat the motor.
When the cover (5) is removed
from the bowl (3), the device
stops.
•
To stop the appliance turn the control
knob (16) to “OFF”:
- Wait until the disc (13, 14) stops
rotating;
- Remove the cover (5) by turning
it clockwise until you hear the
engagement “click”;
- Remove the disc (13, 14) from the
disc stem (2).
• To remove food residue from the
sides of the bowl (3) wait until the
blades have stopped and use the
supplied spatula (15) or appropriate
tools.
DO NOT use À ngers
• To remove the bowl (3) from the
motor unit (1) hold the handle and
turn it clockwise (Fig.“D”).

• “PULSE”
Ruotare il selettore (16) in senso
antiorario e tenerlo in posizione
“PULSE” per il tempo necessario alla
lavorazione. Rilasciando il selettore,
lo stesso torna in posizione “OFF” e
l’apparecchio si ferma.
Utilizzare la funzione “PULSE” per
lavorazioni brevi come tritare noci,
carni crude o verdure in modo da
poter controllare i risultati e il grado
di “finezza” desiderato.
• “OFF”
L’apparecchio deve essere sempre
lasciato con il selettore (16) in
posizione “OFF” quando non viene
utilizzato.

• When pulsing, hold the “PULSE”
position for about 2-3 seconds, check
the result and repeat for the desired
consistency.
The appliance does not start if the
bowl (3), the cover (5) and the semi
removable internal food chute (6a)
are not correctly positioned.
While processing the food make
sure that you do not À ll the bowl (3)
over the recommended quantity.
Do not insert food that has the
possibility to increase in volume
and therefore exceed the maximum
level of the container.
If you notice that the motor has
difÀ culty with the rotation, switch
off the appliance and check that
nothing is impeding the rotation
or that there is not too much food
to be processed.
•
Additional food can be added
through the external food chute (6)
by removing the food pusher (7)
(À g.“H”).
• To add bulky food press the release
button (6b) and remove the semi-
removable internal food chute (6a)
pulling it upwards (Fig.“L”).
The appliance stops immediately.
• To re-start, insert the semi- removable
internal food chute (6a) in the external
food chute (6) until you hear the
engagement “click” (Fig.“G”).
When the cover (5) is removed
from the bowl (3), the device
stops.
Before adding food, cut it into
small pieces to facilitate the
processing.
•
To stop the appliance turn the control
knob (16) to “OFF” position:
- Wait until the blades (4) stop
rotating;
- Open the cover (5) turning it
clockwise until you hear the
engagement “click”.
• To remove the bowl (3) from the
motor unit (1) hold the handle and
turn it clockwise
(Fig.“D”).

“MIN” or to “MAX” for a continuous

(Fig.“L”). L’apparecchio si arresta
immediatamente.
t Per riprendere a lavorare occorre
reinserire il condotto removibile
(6a) nel condotto (6) fino al click di
avvenuto aggancio
(Fig.“G”).
Sganciando il coperchio (5) dal
contenitore (3) l’apparecchio si
ferma.
Prima di introdurre gli alimenti,
tagliarli in piccoli pezzi per
facilitarne la lavorazione.

e dischi lame (13,14)
t Le lame (4) sono utili per tagliare,
sminuzzare, mescolare, miscelare e
ridurre in purea carne cruda o cotta,
frutta, verdura e ortaggi.
t Il disco lame (13) è utile per affettare
verdure e frutta (es. zucchine, carote,
ecc.).
t Il disco lame (14) è utile per
sminuzzare o ridurre in piccoli pezzi
frutta, verdure e formaggi a pasta di
media durezza (es.: emmental).
t Il grado di lavorazione dipende dal
tempo di funzionamento.
t Lavorando alimenti quali cipolla,
aglio, etc, con le lame (4), utilizzare
la velocità minima oppure la funzione
“PULSE” per evitare di ridurli in
poltiglia.
t Maggiore è il tempo di lavorazione,
migliore è il grado di finitura
ottenuto.
t Più piccoli sono i pezzi di alimento
lavorati (max 2,5 cm.), migliore è la
qualità del risultato ottenuto.
t Lavorando alimenti duri quali semi di
soia, etc, “ammollarli” lasciandoli a
bagno in acqua o altro liquido prima

t Aggiungendo del liquido (latte,

sbruffi di vapore, rimuovere il

(3) alimenti aggiuntivi “caldi” durante

dalla base motore (1) afferrare
l’impugnatura e ruotarla in senso
orario (Fig.“Q”).
Consigli
Introdurre gli alimenti da frullare
nel bicchiere (10) dopo averli
tagliati a piccoli pezzi.
t Aggiungere nel bicchiere(10) pochi
ingredienti per volta per favorire
la corretta lavorazione ed evitare
che l’eccessiva quantità produca
fastidiose fuoriuscite di alimenti
attraverso il coperchio.
t Non riempire MAI il bicchiere (10)
oltre la capacità di 1500 ml, l’azione
delle lame determina un aumento del
volume degli alimenti in lavorazione
(fig. “T”).
t Si consiglia di immettere nel bicchiere
(10) prima gli alimenti liquidi e
successivamente quelli solidi. La
presenza degli alimenti liquidi facilita
e velocizza la lavorazione anche a
velocità più bassa (“MIN”).
t Per tritare il ghiaccio si consiglia di
versare nel bicchiere (10) dell’acqua
fredda.
- Aggiungere il ghiaccio.
Versare gli ingredienti
rispettando le seguenti quantità:
40% acqua fredda e 60% di
ghiaccio (es. per 400 gr di ghiaccio
da tritare, versare prima 160 ml di
acqua).
- Tenere ben chiuso il coperchio
(11) ed avviare l’apparecchio
posizionando il selettore (16) su
“PULSE”.
Effettuare delle pause durante
la lavorazione del ghiaccio, e
aggiungere un cubetto per volta
quando necessario.
t Non tritare ghiaccio senza l’ausilio
di acqua fredda.

Non lavorare alimenti duri
(chicchi di caffè, gusci, ossa,
congelati, etc.), le lame si possono
danneggiare.
Il frullatore non è adatto per:
sbattere e montare uova o albumi,
tritare carne, impastare.
Non sovraccaricare ecces-
sivamente il motore.
Se quest’ultimo si arresta, spegnere
immediatamente l’apparecchio,
togliere la spina dalla presa,
rimuovere parte dell’alimento
lavorato ed attendere qualche
minuto prima di riprendere a
lavorare.
Utilizzo dello
spremiagrumi
t Posizionare la prolunga (2) sul perno
motore (1a) (Fig.“C”).
t
Posizionare il contenitore (3) vuoto
sulla base motore (1) e ruotarlo in
senso “antiorario” sino ad allineare
l’impugnatura con con il riferimento
presente sulla base motore.
Un “click” di aggancio indica che il
contenitore è stato correttamente
posizionato (Fig.“D”).
t Posizionare il filtro (8) sul contenitore
trasparente (3) e ruotarlo in senso
antiorario sino al “click” di aggancio
(Fig.“U”).
t Posizionare il cono (9) sulla prolunga
(2), inserendolo correttamente negli
ingranaggi del filtro (8)
(Fig.“V”).
t Collegare la spina alla presa di
corrente assicurandosi che la
tensione di rete corrisponda a
quanto indicato sulla targa dati
dell’apparecchio.
t Tagliare l’agrume da spremere in due
metà.
t Esercitando una leggera pressione
con l’agrume sul cono, ruotare il
selettore (16) su “MIN” o su “MAX”
per avviare l’apparecchio (Fig.“Z”).
L’apparecchio non si avvia se
il filtro (8) non è correttamente
posizionato sulla base motore (1).
t Per fermare l’apparecchio riportare
il selettore (16) su “OFF”.
t Terminata la spremitura, rimuovere
il cono (9) e il filtro (8), ruotandolo in
senso orario
(Fig.“U”).
t Sollevare il contenitore (3)
prendendolo dall’apposita
impugnatura e versare il contenuto.

t Dopo aver tolto l’imballaggio e prima
di ogni uso assicurarsi dell’integrità
meccanica dell’apparecchio e di tutti i
suoi accessori. In caso di dubbio non
utilizzare l’apparecchio e rivolgersi
a personale professionalmente
qualificato.
t Gli elementi dell’imballaggio
(sacchetti in plastica, polistirolo
espanso, chiodi, ecc.) non devono
essere lasciati alla portata dei
bambini in quanto potenziali fonti di
pericolo.
t Prima di collegare l’apparecchio
accertarsi che i dati targa siano
rispondenti a quelli della rete di
distribuzione elettrica. La targa è
situata sul fondo della base motore.
t In caso di incompatibilità tra la
presa e la spina dell’apparecchio
fare sostituire la presa con altra
di tipo adatto da personale
professionalmente qualificato.
Quest’ultimo, in particolare, dovrà
anche accertare che la sezione
dei cavi della presa ia idonea alla
potenza assorbita dall’apparecchio.
In generale è sconsigliabile l’uso
di adattatori, prese multiple e/o
prolunghe.
Qualora il loro uso si rendesse

t L’uso di qualsiasi apparecchio
elettrico comporta l’osservanza
di alcune regole fondamentali. In

o l’apparecchio stesso, per

Pulizia
Prima di effettuare l’operazione
di pulizia, disinserire SEMPRE la
spina dalla presa di corrente.
Spegnere l’apparecchio prima di
avvicinarsi alle parti che sono in
movimento durante l’uso.
t Per la pulizia della base motore (1)
usare un panno umido evitando
l’impiego di detersivi abrasivi.
Non immergere mai la base motore
(1) in acqua o altri liquidi.
Non lavare mai la base motore (1)
in lavastoviglie (fig.“W”).
t La pulizia di tutti i componenti, ad
eccezione della base motore (1),
può essere effettuata con acqua
calda e normali detergenti per
stoviglie.
Detti componenti, ad eccezione
della base motore (1), possono
essere lavati in lavastoviglie ad una
temperatura non superiore ai 65°C
(fig.“W”).
Le lame sono taglienti; manipolarle
con estrema attenzione.
t La colorazione che potrebbero
assumere le parti dell’apparecchio
a contatto con gli alimenti (es.
arancione, quando si lavorano
le carote), può essere eliminata
utilizzando un panno imbevuto di olio
alimentare.
Prima di reinserire la spina di
alimentazione nella presa di rete
assicurarsi che l’apparecchio
e tutti i componenti siano
completamente asciutti e
correttamente montati.
Prima di riporre l’apparecchio
prestare particolare attenzione
alla pulizia dello stesso per evitare
la formazione di batteri.
t Al termine dell’utilizzo dell’apparecchio
il cavo di alimentazione può essere
raccolto nell’apposito vano (1c)
presente sul fondo dello stesso
(Fig.“X”).

Questo prodotto è conforme alla Direttiva
2002/96/EC.
Il simbolo del cestino barrato
riportato sull’apparecchio indica
che il prodotto, alla fine della propria
vita utile, dovendo essere trattato
separatamente dai rifiuti domestici,
deve essere conferito in un centro
di raccolta differenziata per apparecchiature
elettriche ed elettroniche oppure riconsegnato
al rivenditore al momento dell’acquisto di una
nuova apparecchiatura equivalente.
L’utente è responsabile del conferimento
dell’apparecchio a fine vita alle appropriate
strutture di raccolta, pena le sanzioni previste
dalla vigente legislazione sui rifiuti.
L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio
successivo dell’apparecchio dismesso al
riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento
ambientalmente compatibile contribuisce ad
