Assembly Procedure
Quick Assembly Connector (QAC/SC)
Assembly Manual
Arrange for a FAOC to assemble.

Cut off the ber at the length of 12mm using an
optical ber cleaver.

Insert screw cap onto optical cable.

Insert optical cable into the ber guide on the
boot. When optical cable starts to bend, stop

inserting.
Strip the coating of the optical cable by at least
45mm.

Maintaining the bend, push the connecting
holder forward and push the boot cover down.

Connect the screw cap with the boot by turning
the cap onto the threads.

Reassembly Procedure
Turn the protrusion of the housing towards the
bottom and unite it to the body.

Pull out the housing and seperate by unscrewing
the screw cap

Pull the ber connecting holder back towards
the optical cable and remove the optical cable.

Repeat assembly procedure
