DESCRIPTION
The CT3974B is a UL listed DMM Probe Body featuring a Ø2 x 19 mm long test tip and a 4
mm sheathed banana jack. The probe body can be attached to most test leads featuring a 4
mm sheathed banana plug.
• CT3974B-# Probe Body # : 0 black / 2 red
The probe’s tip is covered by a Locking Tip Cover which limits exposure to <4 mm for use in
CAT III and IV environments. The tip cover can be removed to allow use as a test point or for
attaching (optional) accessories.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Test Lead Connection:
• Insert 4 mm sheathed banana plug lead (supplied separately) into the probe body’s 4 mm
sheathed jack, seating completely.

• Use small at-blade screwdriver, or similar tool, to carefully lift locking tab and then slide cover
forward and o.

voltage and measurement category rating to maintain safety rating.
