Nürburgring is the yardstick by which all production cars are measured, with
sweeping curves, varying surfaces, dramatic climbs and stomach-churning drops,
all complicated by weather that can change in a heartbeat. There may be other tracks,

but there is only one Nürburgring. It was here that we brought the CTS-V to challenge
Nürburgring racetrack in Germany
the world’s best . Not only did we set the standard for production sedan performance, we
also brought a piece of the German ’Ring home with us. We recreated some of the most
demanding corners from the world’s most formidable racetracks to create the ultimate
test track right in our own backyard so we can practice every day.

our proven race cars as high-speed R&D labs, our production
cars can be fine-tuned, their components validated and
their vehicle dynamics honed. Each green flag provides
an unforgiving environment that lets us know precisely

HAS NEVER BEEN THIS INSTAN T.
It will leave you questioning the laws of physics. A 6.2L supercharged V8 engine with
556 HP and 551 lb.-ft. of torque propels the V-Series from 0–60 in as fast as 3.9 seconds.
Its cutting-edge supercharger incorporates a twin 4-lobe rotor design that ensures a
quiet operation while also optimizing performance. Additional engineering highlights
include high-strength aluminum pistons with oil-spray cooling to elevate refinement
and durability and a center-feed fuel system that delivers precise fuel volume whether
you’re casually cruising or on the track with a wide-open throttle. Its sheer power, quite
simply, will take your breath away.

By the time your brain tells your eye to blink, Magnetic
Ride Control suspension has read the road 10 times.
Adjusting almost instantaneously to the road surface,
camber and condition, Magnetic Ride Control keeps the
balanced rear-wheel drive chassis dialed-in at all times
and on all roads. A unique combination of sensors, as
well as wheel and braking inputs from the driver, cue
the monotube dampers, which adapt at the remarkable
rate of 1,000 times a second. The system includes dual
driving modes—Tour Mode, for excellent handling and
ride quality; or more aggressive Sport Mode, perfect
for performance maneuvers at the track. In either
mode, maximized traction, excellent body control and
chassis composure are maint ained without sacrificing
a comfor table ride. The system is so responsive and
dynamic, it’s no wonder it has been borrowed by some
of the world’s top supercars. We’ll take that as a
compliment.

With an astonishing 556 HP at the touch of your right
foot, responsive brakes are essential no matter where
you drive. That’s why each V-Series model is fitted
with race-inspired Brembo® brakes. Recognized as a
worldwide leader in brake systems, this Brembo high-
performance brake package uses mighty, silver-painted
six-piston front calipers and four-piston rear calipers.
Already extremely resistant to brake fade, the V-Series
uses a two-piece front rotor that has a higher thermal
capacity for maximum cooling efficiency. Even during
repeated stopping maneuvers, the pedal maintains a
confident and consistent feel. And what’s speed without
style? Add a unique touch to your V with available red-
or yellow-painted brake calipers.
