The STS strut clamp – part of the CADDY
®
line from ERICO®– provides for
fast assembly of half-slot strut into back-to-back strut for new or retrofit
applications. STS clamps are easy-to-install alternatives to welded strut and
eliminate the need for traditional hardware such as bolts and washers. The
clamps are shipped assembled, which helps prevent lost nuts.
STS clamps are ideal for prefab or special applications. They eliminate job
delays because of non-stocked welded strut. Because the clamps easily
attach to existing strut trapeze, they also eliminate additional attachments
to the building structure.

1. Loosen nut and
open clamp.
* 1000 lbs working load per total assembly. Half slot dimensions vary by manufacturer.
Maximum half-slot dimensions 9/16” x 7/8”.
Contractor Tip #1:
For prefab back-to-back strut,
position the strut so the STS is
inserted from the top.
Contractor Tip #2
When using with tighter slots in the half-slot
strut, angle the STS over the edge of the slot.
Proceed with installation.
3. Tighten with 1/2”
nut driver.

and push STS clamp into
slot. Rotate 90 degrees.
