1 INTRODUCTION

The USB 3.0 to VGA Adapter allows you to connect an extra monitor to your desktop or
laptop's USB port. You can watch videos or slideshows together on the big screen.

5 CONNECTION AND OPERATION

1) Connection

①Connect Computer to USB 3.0 input of this product.
②Connect HDTV to VGA output of this product.

Attention: Insert / Unplug cable gently.

2) Driver Installation

In the CD there are windows and Mac drivers, and windows driver supports
Windows 7 (64bit), Windows 7 (32bit), Windows Vista (64bit), Windows Vista
(32bit), Windows XP (32bit),Windows 8 (64bit), Windows8 (32bit)，Windows 10
Insert CD to computer, and windows driver will be installed automatically. For Mac
driver, you need to install manually.

Problems

Troubleshootings

My MacBook Air could not
support two external monitors.

Yes. MacBook Air supports one external monitor. If
you have used a Mini DP adapter, just unplug it,
and connect this adapter to have a try.

After installed macOS 10.13.4,
my Mac does not support
extended mode.

My VGA monitor does not show
anything, or the VGA monitor
does not have signal.

For Windows.

1, Visit the correct link to download the driver.
http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/windows
Download and install the driver with your

“Administrator” account, you can also visit your PC
or laptop’s official website, update USB 3.0 host

controller to the latest version.
2, Restart your laptop or PC
3, Set the corresponding VGA port as the input
source. Make the connection stable and securely.
If your VGA cable has the screws, please tighten
the screws.
4, If your just hook this adapter to your VGA
monitor directly(not as the external monitor),
after your started your PC, please be more patient,
since the adapter would work until you see the
login Window, your VGA monitor would not show
anything when you just push the start button on
your desktop.
5, If you need to duplicate or extend your desktop,
you can use Windows key(on your keyboard)+P
combination order, then pop different options,
you can choose duplicate or extend your monitor.

For MacOS X and macOS.

1, Visit the correct link to download the driver

2, Use your “Admin” account to install the driver.
You can go to left-upper apple iconSystem
PreferencesSecurity & PrivacyGeneralAllow
apps downloaded from website and identified
developers, or your Mac probably could not be
installed the drivers correctly.
3, Restart your Mac.
4, Set the corresponding VGA port as your
monitor’s input source.
5, If you need to mirror or extend your Mac’s
desktop, you can just go to left-upper apple
iconSystem PreferencesDisplays to set
“mirror displays” or not.

My VGA monitor /projector
works intermittently or stuck.

1, Check your VGA cable’s quality, please make
sure you have used a quality VGA cable. If

possible, you can also swap another VGA cable.
2, Check if the connection stable and securely.
When you were using this adapter, do not move
your laptop or cables. If you have to move your
laptop, after your behavior, please keep the
connection stable.
3, Note that this adapter can support the best
resolution up to 1920*1080. When you need to
mirror your local videos or online videos, keep an

eye on if your video source’s size, you had better

not watch 4K videos using this adapter.

My VGA monitor or TV does
not show anything when I was
watching blue-ray DVD.

Yes. It does not support HDCP function.

My TV does not have sound.

Yes. VGA does not support sound function.

My PC or laptop does not have
DVD drive.
