1. Introduction:

The 7-Port USB 2.0 Aluminum Hub conveniently adds seven high speed
USB 2.0 ports to your desktop or notebook computer. The slim form factor
saves space while the port placement and hard-mountable me ta l ba se keep
the hub in place even when several USB devices are connected. The
hub easily s lides out of the base making it convenient to travel with as well.

The 7-Port USB 2.0 Aluminum Hub can be self-powered from the USB port
or utilize the included power supply. Add additional hubs to support up to
127 devices. W hether you are downloading or transferring spreadsheets,

5. Software Installation

¾ Windows 98SE:

1) The system will detect the hub and run “Add New Hardware Wizard.”

2) Press “Next” to proceed to the next screen.

3) Check the box to “Search for the best driver for your device” and press “Next”.

4) Leave all fields unchecked and press “Next” to advance to the next screen.

5) As you see the following screen, please press “Next”.

6) As you see the following screen, please press “Finish”.

¾ Windows ME/2000/XP:

Need no driver installation.

6. Verification

You can verify successful installation of your 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub by clicking on “My
Computer” then “View system information” then “Device Manager”. You should see
“Universal Serial Bus Controllers” in the “Device Manager” sheet.
