Door Perimeter Gasket
1. Remove the original gasket material from around the
toolbox opening.
2. The new door perimeter gasket is not square. The
gasket measures .50 x .60 and the groove it will be
pressed into is .50 wide. Look carefully at the
material and know which side is wider.
3. Find the center of the gasket length and press the
wide dimension of the gasket (.60) into the gasket
groove (.50) beginning at the top center of the box and
working to each corner. Do not pull or stretch the gasket, especially in the corners, since this makes it thinner and may permit leaks. “Pack in” as much material
into the groove, as you can, especially in
the corners.
4. Tuck the material behind the lower edge of the door
and trim the excess material flush with the
bottom of the toolbox.
Door Hinge Gasket (1/8" thick x 1/2" wide)
1. Remove the original gasket material from
between the hinge halves at the bottom edge of
the toolbox door.
2. Remove the adhesive cover from the new
material and press it in place without stretching.
Door Corner Gaskets
1. Remove the original corner gaskets, remove the
adhesive covers from the new gaskets and press them
into place along 2 edges in the lower corners of
the door.

Warranty
Buyers Products Co. warrants all truck/trailer hardware manufactured or distributed by it, to be free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of one year from date of shipment. Parts
must be properly installed and used under normal conditions. Any
product which has been altered, including modification, misuse,
accident or lack of maintenance will not be considered under
warranty. Normal wear is excluded. The sole responsibility of
Buyers Products Co. under this warranty is limited to repairing or
replacing any part or parts which are returned, prepaid, and are
found to be defective by Buyers Products Co. Authorization from
Buyers Products Co. must be obtained before returning any part.
No charges for transportation or labor performed on Buyers’ products will be allowed under this warranty.
