General Care Instructions
1. The dust cover should be installed anytime the telescope
is not in use.
2. Draping a bed sheet over the unit is recommended if you
do not plan to use the telescope for several months.
3. If the lenses do become dusty use compressed air to
remove the dust.
4. If fingerprints are on the eyepieces a cotton cloth either
dry or with a solution of 1 part Distilled water, 1 part
98%+ Isopropyl alcohol, and a drop of liquid hand soap
is recommended. Most of the time the compressed air or
brushing with a camel hair brush is the best choice.
5. NEVER rub any of the mirrors with a cloth. This can
cause damage that will VOID any warranty that may be
in affect.
6. If the dust appears to be on the inside on the mirrors, the
main tube should be sent into the Bushnell Repair Lab
for a proper cleaning.
