Important safety information
Your Bluetooth speaker with dock should be treated with care. The information below has been provided in the interest of safety and will help you to enjoy this product and the benets it brings for many years.
- Keep the product and all its parts out of reach of small children.
- This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Keep it dry. Avoid exposure to precipitation, humidity and liquids which could all aect the product circuitry.
- Do NOT leave it in high temperatures as electronic devices and plastic parts may warp in heat.
- Do NOT leave it in low temperatures as moisture can form inside the product, which may damage the circuit board.
- Do NOT block or cover slots, holes or openings on the product by placing on soft furnishings such as carpets, rugs or beds as these are provided for functionality and/ or ventilation to ensure safe operation of the product
- Do NOT store in dusty or dirty areas.
- Disconnect your Bluetooth speaker from the mains power supply during thunderstorms.
- Always check that you have completely switched o your Bluetooth speaker, before you change or disconnect the power supply.
- Only use the power supply that came with the product. Using an unauthorised power supply will invalidate your guarantee and may irrecoverably damage the product.

- Where the mains power plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
- Do NOT attempt to open the product. This product does not contain any user serviceable parts. Unauthorised handling of the device may damage it and will void your warranty.
- Do NOT use your Bluetooth speaker near emergency/ intensive care medical equipment; if you have a pacemaker tted or during an electrical storm.
- Do NOT use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or detergents to clean the product. Wipe with a damp (not wet) soft cloth to clean.

Instructions for use
Check the package contents
The package contains:

Where to put your Bluetooth speaker
It is important that you consider carefully in advance where your Bluetooth speaker will be situated and make sure that it is:
* on a at and stable surface Note: Never place your
Bluetooth speaker directly onto antique or polished surfaces.
* within 1.4 metres of a power
socket. Please ensure that the mains power lead is not a trip hazard.
* at least 1 metre away from
other electrical appliances to avoid interference.
* where you can easily access
the dock connector on the top of the product.
* away from bright sunlight
or heat sources, such as a radiator.
* not in a humid or very damp
place such as a bathroom.
Setting up
1. Connect the mains power lead into the ‘DC IN’ socket on the back of the Bluetooth speaker.
2. Plug the power adaptor into the mains power wall socket and switch on. The speaker will power up in Bluetooth mode and the LED ring around the outside of the volume control will light up and ash blue quickly.
3. If there is no action/operation of the product for 10 minutes, it will automatically go to standby mode and the LED indicator around the volume control will switch o. Press and release the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob and the bluetooth speaker will return to the mode it was last in.
Connecting or ‘Pairing’ with your Bluetooth speaker
In Bluetooth (BT) Mode:
1. On your speaker the LED ring around the outside of the volume control will light up and ash blue quickly whilst trying to connect with other Bluetooth devices.

Note: If a device has not been ‘paired’ or connected with your Bluetooth speaker after 5 minutes, the blue LED indicator will begin to ash slowly. Press and hold the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob to go to Standby mode and then press and hold again to switch back on. The LED indicator will begin to ash blue quickly again.
2. On the device that you would
like to connect to your Bluetooth speaker via Bluetooth (e.g. iPhone/iPad/Android/other phone/Computer), turn on Bluetooth connectivity and ensure that it is ‘discoverable’.
Note: If necessary, refer to the instructions for your device to add or set up Bluetooth.
3. Select to ‘Add new device’, if
necessary. Note: Some products will
automatically search for a new device and so the ‘Add new device’ option is not available.
4. When found, your Bluetooth
speaker will be displayed as ‘BUSH Audio’. Select the device name to begin pairing.
5. When pairing is complete the
LED indicator around the volume control will stop ashing and will remain on.
6. Now that you have paired your device with the Bluetooth speaker, it will connect to it when it is within range, which is about 10 metres or less (33 feet or less), line of sight.
NFC touch point
Your Bluetooth speaker has an NFC touch point to enable quick and easy Bluetooth pairing with other NFC enabled devices.
In Bluetooth mode, just touch your other NFC enabled device to the NFC logo on the top of your Bluetooth speaker to pair.
Change the mode
Briey press and release the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob to change modes. Bluetooth/iPod and Aux in modes are available.

Using your Bluetooth Speaker with Dock
Switch on
Press and hold the ‘Volume/ Standby’ knob to switch on.
Switch o
Press and hold the ‘Volume/ Standby’ knob. The Bluetooth speaker will go into Standby mode.
To completely switch o the Bluetooth speaker, switch o the mains power at the wall socket.
Note: If you do not use your Bluetooth speaker for 10 minutes and no audio signal is received, the speaker will automatically go into standby mode. Press and release the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob and the bluetooth speaker will return to the mode it was last in.
Change the mode
Briey press and release the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob to change modes. Bluetooth/iPod and Aux in modes are available.
Blue = Bluetooth mode Green = iPod mode Red = Aux in mode
Adjusting the volume
Use the rotary volume control on the front of the Bluetooth speaker to adjust the volume.
Turn clockwise to increase the volume and anti-clockwise to decrease the volume.
Dock cover
To open the dock cover slide your nger under the front ap, then pull up and push back until it locks into place.
To close the dock cover, slide forward the release catch (refer to the drawing at the bottom of page 8), then fold down the cover until it is ush with the top surface of your Bluetooth speaker.
USB charging socket
You can use the USB charging socket on the back of your Bluetooth speaker to charge smartphones that do not have a lightning socket and so are unable to dock on the top of the Bluetooth speaker to charge.

Bluetooth mode
Bluetooth (BT) mode
Check that your Bluetooth speaker is in Bluetooth mode. The LED indicator ring will be blue colour in Bluetooth mode.
If you are not already in Bluetooth mode, briey press and release the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob until you are in Bluetooth mode.
Connecting or ‘Pairing’ with your Bluetooth speaker
In Bluetooth (BT) Mode:
1. On your speaker the LED

NFC touch point
Your Bluetooth speaker has an NFC touch point to enable quick and easy Bluetooth pairing with other NFC enabled devices.
In Bluetooth mode, just touch your other NFC enabled device to the NFC logo on the top of your Bluetooth speaker to pair.
Please ensure that you disconnect any audio connection cables from the Aux in socket on the back of the Bluetooth speaker before you attempt to play any music via Bluetooth.
Listening to Music/Audio using Bluetooth
In Bluetooth mode:
1. Select and start the music or
audio that you wish to listen to on your paired Bluetooth device.

iPod/iPhone/iPad mode
iPod/iPhone/iPad mode
Check that your Bluetooth speaker is in iPod mode. The LED indicator ring will be green colour in iPod mode.
If you are not already in iPod mode, briey press and release the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob, until you are in iPod mode.
Note: Your Bluetooth speaker has an Apple lightning connector. The lightning connector works with iPhone 5, iPad (4th generation), iPad mini, iPod touch (5th generation and iPod nano (7th generation).
Dock your iPod/iPhone/iPad
Note: If you use a cover with your iPod/iPhone/iPad, please remove it before attempting to dock your product.
1. Lift up the cover on the top of
the Bluetooth speaker to reveal the iPod/iPhone/iPad dock connector.
2. Line up the connector on the
bottom of your iPod/iPhone/iPad with the dock connector on the top of the Bluetooth speaker and push down to connect.
The dock will begin to charge your iPod/iPhone/iPad, if necessary. Charging will stop automatically when your iPod/ iPhone/iPad is fully charged (check your iPod/iPhone/iPad display).
Note: Care should be taken when connecting your iPod/iPhone/ iPad to the dock connector to avoid damage. Please ensure to line up your iPod/iPhone/iPad with the dock connector before pushing down.
Playing your iPod/iPhone/iPad
You can use the controls on your iPod/iPhone/iPad to play the music through the Bluetooth speaker, when it is docked.
Note: If there is no audio input for 10 minutes the Bluetooth speaker will go to standby mode automatically. You can press and hold the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob to switch the Bluetooth speaker back on.
Remove your iPod/iPhone/iPad
1. Hold the Bluetooth speaker steady with one hand and pull up your iPod/iPhone/iPad with the other hand, until it is clear of the dock connector.

Aux in mode
Aux in mode
Check that your Bluetooth speaker is in Aux in mode. The LED indicator ring will be red colour in Aux in mode.
If you are not already in Aux in mode, briey press and release the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob, until you are in Aux in mode.
Using a 3.5mm audio input connection cable (not included), Aux in allows for a quick and easy connection to an external sound source.
1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm
audio connection cable to the headphone (or auxiliary out) socket of your secondary device, connect the other end to the Aux in socket on the back of your Bluetooth speaker.
2. Press the ‘Play’ button on your
external device to start playback through the Bluetooth speaker.
3. To gain optimal volume levels,
adjust the output volume level on both the secondary device and on the Bluetooth speaker

Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing problems with your Bluetooth speaker with dock, there are some quick and easy checks that you can do, which may help to solve the problem.
Problem Solution
No sound / power: - Check that the mains power cable is
connected securely, is plugged in and the power switched on.
- Check that you are not in Standby mode. Press and hold the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob to switch on.
- Increase the volume.
- The connected device is not in playback mode.
- Check that you are in the correct mode for the music that you wish to listen to. Press and release the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob to change the mode.
Sound distortion: - The volume level is too high. Please
reduce the volume level.
- The volume level of the connected device is too high. Please reduce the volume of the connected device.
Your iPod/iPhone/ iPad does not dock:
- If you use a cover with your iPod/iPhone/ iPad, please remove it before docking your product.
- Remove your iPod/iPhone/iPad and check that the connector on the dock and your iPod/iPhone/iPad are clean and free from obstructions.

iPod/iPhone/iPad does not play:
iPod/iPhone does not charge:
- Check that the power lead is plugged into the back of the Bluetooth speaker and that the mains adaptor is plugged in and switched on.
- Check that the Bluetooth speaker is not in Standby mode. Press and hold the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob to switch on.
- Check that the iPod/iPhone/iPad is docked. Line up the connector on the bottom of your iPod/iPhone/iPad with the connector on the Bluetooth speaker and push down to connect.
- Check that you are in iPod mode. Press and release the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob to change the mode. .
- Check that you have selected a music track.
- Check that your iPod/iPhone/iPad is not paused and that the volume on the Bluetooth speaker is turned up.
- Check that the Bluetooth speaker is connected to mains power.
- Check that your iPod/iPhone/iPad has been pushed fully home onto the dock connector.
- Your iPod/iPhone/iPad may already be fully charged. Check your iPod/iPhone/ iPad screen.

Unable to pair with a Bluetooth device:
- Check that you are in Bluetooth mode. Press and release the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob to change the mode.
- Ensure that you are within range of the Bluetooth speaker for Bluetooth functionality (less than 10 metres, line of sight).
- Move the Bluetooth speaker and Bluetooth device away from other Bluetooth devices/electrical equipment.
- If possible, turn o other nearby Bluetooth devices or disable their Bluetooth functionality.
Aux in function failure - Check that you are in the correct mode
for the connected external device. Press and release the ‘Volume/Standby’ knob to change the mode.
