How to Operate
It requires very little pressure to drive the tap into the hole; do not force it. When the required depth is reached, the depth stop nut will strike the frame and cause the attachment clutch to release. Allowing the foot lever to return to top position, engages the return clutch and backs the tap out. Do not let the lever return without some foot pressure as the attachment will strike the head frame and
damage the attachment.
The proper speed at which to run the spindle is dependent on the size tap, size of drilled hole,
sharpness of tap and kind of material. Don’t let tne attachment run hot.
