WCR-G54 Router Access Point Settings
1. At the back of router, set the switch to “Router” mode
2. Power on Buffalo Router, and wait for 2 minutes. The “Power”, “Router” and “Wireless” indicators will be ON, and other indicators will be OFF.
3. To reset the router, please insert “RESET” hole by a paper clip for about 10 seconds, and wait for 2 minutes. The “Power”, “Router” and “Wireless” indicators will be ON, and other indicators will be OFF.

Buffalo Router Wireless Settings:
Launch Web Browser, enter http://192.168.11.1 in address bar and then press Enter. Then type username as “root”, default no password.
1. Click “Wireless Config” -> Click “Basic(11g)”. Under SSID, the default “SSID” (wireless network signal name) of router is set to “Use
Airstation's MAC Address (XXXXXXXXXXXX)”. If you want to use
another name as SSID, please choose “Use”, and input a new name on the field behind.(Remark: Cannot exceed 32 characters, and leaving
blank in between is not recommended),
Under Wireless Channel, please fix a wireless channel for your router. (Using “Auto Channel” is not recommended). Please try channel 1, 6,
11, or other channels until the wireless network is stable. Please click
Apply” to save settings.
Please click “Apply” again, and wait for 2 minute to complete settings.
5. To secure your wireless network, please click “Security(11g)”. Under “Wireless Encryption”,
- Choose “WEP”,
- Set “WEP Encryption Key” to ”Character Input: 13 characters
(WEP128)”.
- Behind “1”, input a 13 characters wireless encryption key to secure the wireless network.
- Click “Apply” button to save settings.
