Please take a few moments to carefully read through this manual. Correct maintenance and operation of
this machine will provide the best possible performance from your BUFFALO product.

Operation

1. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.
2. Slide the grill rack into the appliance.
3. Set the Element Selector switch to grill using the upper element [I] or the upper and lower elements
together [O].
4. Set the Timer switch to the deisred cooking time. The appliance powers up straight away.
5. When the set time has expired the timer sounds an audible alarm and the grill(s) turn Off.

Set the Timer switch to the desired cooking time. The appliance powers up straight away.
Note: The GF453 only grills at FULL power and is controlled by the Timer switch.
Note: The Timer switch overrides the Power Level switch. Ensure the Timer switch is at
‘0’ when grilling by power level.
WARNING: Grilling using the Power Level knob is continuous and the appliance doesl
not switch off automatically. DO NOT leave the grill unattended.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
• Always turn Off the appliance and disconnect from the power supply before cleaning.
• Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
• Use warm, soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance.
•Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
• A BUFFALO dealer or qualified technician should carry out repairs if required.

Periodically remove the crumb tray and empty.
Clean the crumb tray using warm, soapy water.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin, moulded, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 13 amp fuse as standard.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed, using a dedicated earthing circuit.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency
disconnection being required they must be readily accessible.

not be disposed of as household waste. To help prevent possible harm to human

1. Steek de stekker van het apparaat in het stopcontact.
2. Schuif het grillrooster terug in het apparaat.
3. Zet de Element Selectieschakelaar op grillen met het bovenste element [I] of met het bovenste en
onderste element samen [O].
4. Zet de timerschakelaar op de gewenste kooktijd. Het apparaat start onmiddellij.
5. Bij het verlopen van de ingestelde tijd op de timer gaat een hoorbaar alarm af en de grill(en)
gaat(gaan) uit.

1. Steek de stekker van het apparaat in het stopcontact.
2. Schuif het grillrooster terug in het apparaat.
3. Zet de Element Selectieschakelaar op grillen met het bovenste element [I] of met het bovenste en
onderste element samen [O].
4. Stel het vermogenniveau met de vermogenschakelaar in
of
zet de timerschakelaar op de gewenste kooktijd. Het apparaat start onmiddellijk.
Opmerking: de GF453 grilt alleen op VOL vermogen en wordt geregeld met de
timerschakelaar.
Opmerking: De tijdschakelaar is doorslaggevend en zet de vermogenschakelaar uit.
Zorg bij het grillen op vermogenniveau dat de tijdschakelaar op '0' staat.
WAARSCHUWING: Het grillen met de vermogenknop is continu en het apparaat gaat
wordt dus niet automatisch uitgeschakeld. Laat de grill NIET zonder toezicht aanstaan.

Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud
• Alvorens het apparaat te reinigen dient men altijd het apparaat uit te schakelen en de steker uit het
stopcontact te halen.
• Laat het apparaat afkoelen voordat u met het schoonmaken begint.
• Gebruik warm zeepwater en een vochtige doek om de buitenkant van het apparaat te reinigen.
• Na reiniging goed drogen.
• Eventuele reparaties moeten door een BUFFALO vertegenwoordiger of een vaktechnicus worden
uitgevoerd.
Kruimellade
Men dient regelmatig de kruimellade leeg te maken.
Reinig de kruimellade met warm zeepwater.
Oplossen van problemen
Indien er een storing van uw BUFFALO product optreedt, dient u de onderstaande tabel te raadplegen
