Safety Tips

 Position on a flat, stable surface.
 A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not

remove any components on this product.

 Consult Local and National Standards to comply with the following:

 DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.
 Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
 Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.
 Not suitable for outdoor use.
 Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the regulations of

local authorities.

 If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a BUFFALO agent or a recommended qualified

technician in order to avoid a hazard.

 This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

 Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
 Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces
 Keep hands and utensils out of the jug while motor is running to prevent severe personal injury and / or

damage to the blender

 Blade is sharp – handle carefully
 Never try to remove blade while jug is sitting on the blender base
 Do not operate with loose or damaged blades
 Do not place jug on to base with On/Off switch in the On position
 Always operate with lid in place
 Do Not blend Hot Liquids.
 Do not leave blender unattended while in use

Location of Controls

Controls

1 – On / OFF switch.

 Up for On, down for Off.

2 – Variable Speed Dial.

 Allows continual adjustment of speed from low (10,000rpm) to high (22,000rpm)

3 – High/Low Pulse Switch

 Down to pulse at high speed (22,000rpm).

Operation

Plug in Blender and turn on Power Switch (located on side of machine). The machine is now ready for use.

To blend using variable speed function –

1. Place ingredients into blender

2. Secure lid (Note. Always operate with lid secured)

3. Locate jug on to body of blender

4. Select speed using variable speed dial (low 10,000rpm, high 22,000rpm)

5. Turn on blender using On/Off switch

To blend using High / Low Pulse function –

1. Place ingredients into Blender

2. Secure lid (Note. Always operate with lid secured)

3. Locate jug on to body of Blender

4. Turn on blender using Pulse switch (Up to Pulse at high speed (22,000rpm), down to Pulse at low speed
(10,000rpm)

Note – When blending dry ingredients best results will be obtained by cutting ingredients’ in to small
pieces and adding to the blender when motor is running using the hole in the lid.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance

•

Always disconnect from power supply before cleaning

•

Always allow to cool before cleaning.

•

Use warm, soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the appliance.

•

Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

•

A BUFFALO dealer or qualified technician should carry out repairs if required.

WARNING: Do not allow any water to spill into the body of the appliance when cleaning.

Electrical Wiring

This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin, moulded, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 13 amp fuse as standard.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:

• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L

• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N

• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E

This appliance must be earthed, using a dedicated earthing circuit. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency disconnection being required they
must be readily accessible.

Veiligheidstips

 Op een platte, stabiele ondergrond plaatsen.
 De installatie en eventuele reparaties moeten worden uitgevoerd door een onderhoudsagent of een

bevoegde technicus. Geen componenten van dit product verwijderen.

 Raadpleeg de plaatselijke en landelijke normen om te voldoen aan:

 Dompel het toestel NIET onder in water.
 Het toestel niet gebruiken voor andere doeleinden dan waarvoor het bedoeld is.
 Het toestel altijd uitschakelen en van het lichtnet loskoppelen indien het niet in gebruik is.

aanbevolen, bevoegde technicus om gevaar te vermijden.

 Dit toestel is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (inclusief kinderen) met verminderde lichamelijke

of geestelijke vaardigheden of gebrek aan ervaring of kennis, tenzij ze toezicht of instructies in verband
met het gebruik van het toestel hebben ontvangen van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun
veiligheid.

 Kinderen moeten onder toezicht worden gehouden om ervoor te zorgen dat ze niet met het toestel

 Voorkom dat het snoer over de rand van de tafel of toonbank hangt of hete oppervlakken raakt
 Houd de handen en keukengerei uit de beker wanneer de motor draait om ernstig persoonlijk letsel en/of

schade aan de blender te voorkomen

 Blad is scherp – voorzichtig hanteren
 Probeer nooit om het blad te verwijderen terwijl de beker in positie zit op de blender
 Niet gebruiken als de bladen los zitten of beschadigd zijn
 Zet beker niet op de basis als de AAN/UIT-schakelaar op ON staat
 Altijd gebruiken met het deksel er op
 Geen hete vloeistoffen mengen.
 Laat de blender nooit onbeheerd achter als hij in gebruik is

Inleiding

Neem er a.u.b. even de tijd voor om deze handleiding goed door te lezen. Met het juiste onderhoud en de juiste
bediening van deze BUFFALO machine krijgt u de beste resultaten.

Inhoud van de verpakking

Het volgende is inbegrepen:

BUFFALO is trots op haar uitstekende kwaliteit en service en zorgt ervoor dat de inhoud ten tijde van de
verpakking volledig functioneel en schadevrij is.

Mocht er tijdens het vervoer iets zijn beschadigd, wordt u verzocht onmiddellijk contact op te nemen met uw
BUFFALO dealer.

Bedieningsorganen

Knoppen

1. – AAN-/ UIT-schakelaar.
Omhoog voor aan, omlaag voor uit.

2. – Snelheidsregelaar.
Voor een volledige regeling van de snelheid van laag (10.000 tpm) tot hoog (22.000 tpm)

3. – Hoge/lage pulsschakelaar
Omlaag voor pulseren op hoge snelheid (22.000 tpm).

Bediening

Stop de stekker van de blender in het stopcontact en zet de stroomschakelaar aan (op zijkant van machine).
De machine is nu gereed voor gebruik.

Om te mengen met behulp van de snelheidsregelaar –

1. Doe de ingrediënten in de blender

2. Zet deksel vast (NB altijd gebruiken met het deksel vastgezet)

3. Zet beker in de blender

4. Selecteer snelheid met behulp van snelheidsregelaar (laag 10.000 tpm, hoog 22.000 tpm)

5. Schakel blender in met behulp van AAN-/UIT-schakelaar

Om te mengen met de hoge/lage pulsfunctie –

1. Doe de ingrediënten in de blender

2. Zet deksel vast (NB altijd gebruiken met het deksel vastgezet)

3. Zet beker in de blender

4. Schakel blender in met behulp van pulsschakelaar (maximale pulssnelheid (22.000 tpm), minimale

pulssnelheid (10.000 tpm)

NB – bij het mengen van droge ingrediënten worden de beste resultaten verkregen als de
ingrediënten klein worden gesneden en ze aan de blender worden toegevoegd terwijl de motor
draait, via het gat in het deksel.

Reiniging, verzorging en onderhoud

•

Altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact halen voordat hij wordt schoongemaakt

•

Altijd laten afkoelen voordat hij wordt schoongemaakt

•

Gebruik warm zeepwater en een vochtige doek om het toestel schoon te maken.

•

Na reiniging goed drogen.

•

Eventuele reparaties moeten worden uitgevoerd door een BUFFALO dealer of een bevoegde technicus.

WAARSCHUWING: Voorkom tijden het schoonmaken dat er water op het toestel wordt gemorst.

Elektrische verbinding

Dit toestel wordt geleverd met een gesmolten, 3-polige BS1363 stekker en snoer, standaard met een 13 ampère zekering.
De stekker moet worden aangesloten op een geschikt stopcontact.
De aansluitingen zijn als volgt:

• Plus (bruin) naar de klem die met L is aangeduid.

• Nul (blauw) naar de klem die met N is aangeduid.

• Aarde (groengeel) naar de klem die met E is aangeduid.

Dit toestel moet worden geaard, met behulp van een speciale aardverbinding. Raadpleeg in geval van twijfel een bevoegde
elektricien.
De elektrische isolatiepunten moeten onbelemmerd worden gehouden. In geval van nood moet het toestel gemakkelijk
uitgeschakeld kunnen worden.

 Ne jamais mélanger de liquides chauds.
 Ne pas laisser le mixeur sans surveillance lorsqu'il est en marche.
