Safety Tips

• Position on a flat, stable surface.

• A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not remove any components on this product.

• Consult Local and National Standards to comply with the following:

• IEE Wiring Regulations

• Building Regulations

• DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.

• Some surfaces become hot during operation - take care when using the appliance.

• Always wear suitable protective clothing when using the oven.

• DO NOT allow anything to come in to contact with the heating elements during use.

• Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.

• Not suitable for outdoor use.

• This appliance must only be used in accordance with these instructions and by persons competent to do so.

• This appliance is not suitable for use by children.

• Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the regulations of local authorities.

• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a BUFFALO agent or a recommended qualified technician in order to avoid a hazard.

Introduction

Please take a few moments to carefully read through this manual. Correct maintenance and operation of this machine will provide the best possible performance from your BUFFALO product.

BUFFALO prides itself on quality and service, ensuring that at the time of packaging the contents are supplied fully functional and free of damage.

Operation

Before using for the first time, the appliance must be cleaned. To clean the appliance:

1. Wash the wire rack and oven interior with warm soapy water and a damp cloth.

2. Place the wire rack inside the oven.

3. Close the door.

4. Set the Temperature knob to ‘MAX’ and set the Timer knob to ‘5 minutes’.

5. When the minutes are over turn Off the appliance and disconnect from the power supply.

6. Allow to cool. The appliance is now ready to use.

Setting the Timer

The Timer knob also acts as the Power switch. When the Timer is set to ‘0’ the power is Off.

1. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.

2. Set the Timer knob to the required time (0-120 minutes).

3. The appliance will begin to heat up to the set temperature (see ‘Setting the Temperature’) and the

Power Indicator light comes on.

4. When the Timer reaches ‘0’ an audible alarm sounds and the appliance turns Off.

Note: See ‘Setting the Timer’ for setting times under 20 minutes.

Note: If the required time is under 20 minutes, the Timer must be turned beyond 20 and then turned back down to the required setting in order to work.

Note: The Time can be adjusted during cooking if required. Simply adjust the setting as required using the Timer knob.

Setting the Temperature

1. Turn the Temperature C ont rol Knob to the required temperature (65°C-260°C).

2. The Temperature Indicator light comes on.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance

• Always turn Off the appliance and disconnect from the power supply before cleaning.

• Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.

• Use warm, soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance.

•Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

• A BUFFALO dealer or qualified technician should carry out repairs if required.

If your BUFFALO appliance develops a fault, please check the following table before making a call to the Helpline.

Note: When the Oven reaches the set temperature the Temperature Indicator light turns off.

Electrical Wiring

This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin, moulded, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 13 amp fuse as standard. The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket. This appliance is wired as follows:

• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L

Neem de tijd en lees deze handleiding aandachtig door. Een correct gebruik en onderhoud van deze machine waarborgt de beste prestatie van uw BUFFALO product.

Werking

Vóór het eerste gebruik moeten alle van het fabricageproces overgebleven resten worden verwijderd. Om resten te verwijderen:

1. was het draadrek en de ovenbinnenkant met warm zeepwater en een vochtige doek.

2. Plaats het draadrek in de oven.

3. Sluit de deur.

4. Zet de temperatuurknop op 'MAX' en de timerknop op '5 minuten'.

5. Na het verlopen van de ingestelde tijd zet u het apparaat uit en haalt u de stekker uit het stopcontact.

6. Laat het apparaat afkoelen. Het apparaat is nu gebruiksklaar.

Timer instellen

De timerknop werkt ook als een stroomschakelaar. Wanneer de timer op '0' staat dan is het apparaat uitgeschakeld.

1. Steek de stekker van het apparaat in het stopcontact.

2. Zet de timerknop op de gewenste tijdsduur (0-120 minuten).

3. Het apparaat start het verwarmingsproces tot aan de ingestelde temperatuur (zie 'Temperatuur

instellen') en het stroomlampje gaat aan..

4. Wanneer de timer de stand '0' bereikt, hoort u een alarm en gaat het apparaat uit.

Opmerking: om de oven met een gewenste tijdsduur van onder de 20 minuten te gebruiken, dient men de timer eerst verder dan de 20 minutenstand te draaien en vervolgens terug te draaien naar de gewenste tijdsduur onder de 20 minuten.

Opmerking: indien gewenst kan gedurende het kookproces de tijdsduur worden aangepast. Hiervoor dient men alleen de vereiste instelling met de timerknop in te stellen.

1. Zet de temperatuurregelknop op de vereiste temperatuur (65°C - 260°C).

Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud

• Alvorens het apparaat te reinigen dient men altijd het apparaat uit te schakelen en de steker uit het stopcontact te halen.

• Laat het apparaat afkoelen voordat u met het schoonmaken begint.

• Gebruik warm zeepwater en een vochtige doek om de buitenkant van het apparaat te reinigen.

• Na reiniging goed drogen.

• Eventuele reparaties moeten door een BUFFALO vertegenwoordiger of een vaktechnicus worden uitgevoerd.

Oplossen van problemen

Indien er een storing van uw BUFFALO product optreedt, dient u de onderstaande tabel te raadplegen alvorens contact op te nemen met uw BUFFALO dealer of de Hulplijn te bellen.

Opmerking: wanneer de oven de ingestelde temperatuur bereikt, gaat het temperatuurlampje uit.

Elektrische bedrading

Men dient de steker op een geschikt stopcontact aan te sluiten. De bedrading van dit apparaat is als volgt:

• Stroomkabel (bruin) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met L

• Neutraalkabel (blauw) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met N

• Aardekabel (groen/geel) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met E Dit apparaat moet worden geaard met behulp van een adequaat aardingscircuit. Bij twijfels raadpleeg een vakkundige elektricien. De elektrische isolatiepunten mogen niet worden geblokkeerd. In geval van een nooduitschakeling moeten

Operation

Veillez à bien débarrasser l'appareil de tous résidus de fabrication, avant la première mise en service. Pour ce faire :

1. Lavez la grille et la cavité du four à l'eau tiède savonneuse, avec un chiffon doux.

2. Insérez la grille dans le four.

3. Fermez la porte.

4. Réglez le thermostat sur " MAX " et le minuteur sur " cinq minutes ".

5. Une fois les cinq minutes écoulées, éteignez l'appareil et débranchez-le de la prise secteur.

6. Laissez refroidir l'appareil. L'appareil est désormais prêt à servir.

Réglage du minuteur

Le minuteur sert aussi de bouton de mise en service. Minuteur réglé sur " 0 ", le four est éteint.

1. Branchez l'appareil à la prise d'alimentation secteur.

2. Réglez le minuteur sur la durée de cuisson souhaitée (comprise entre 0 et 120 minutes)..

3. Le four chauffe pour atteindre la température réglée (voir " Réglage de la température) et le témoin de

mise en service s'allume..

4. Quand le temps de cuisson est écoulé et le minuteur atteint le " 0 ", l'alarme retentit et l'appareil

s'éteint.

Remarque : si le temps requis ne dépasse pas 20 minutes, le four ne fonctionne pas tant que le minuteur n'a pas été réglé au-delà de 20, puis ramené au réglage du temps requis.

Remarque : la durée de cuisson peut être ajustée pendant la cuisson. L'ajustement se fait avec le minuteur.

Nettoyage, entretien et maintenance

• Veillez à toujours éteindre l'appareil et à le débrancher de la prise secteur avant de le nettoyer.

• Laissez l'appareil refroidir avant de le nettoyer.

• Nettoyez l'extérieur de l'appareil à l'aide d'un chiffon humide imbibé d'eau savonneuse tiède.

• Séchez minutieusement l'appareil après l'avoir nettoyé.

• Les réparations, le cas échéant, doivent être confiées à un agent BUFFALO ou à un technicien qualifié.

En cas de panne de votre appareil BUFFALO, vérifiez les données du tableau ci-dessous avant d'appeler notre standard d'assistance ou votre revendeur BUFFALO.

Remarque : le témoin de température s'éteint quand le four atteint la température réglée.
