General

B-Tech International Ltd recommends that a professional AV installer or other suitably qualified person install this product.
Great care must alwa ys be taken during installatio n as most AV equipment is of a fragile nature, possi bly heavy and easily
damaged if dropped. If you do not fully underst and the instructions or are not sure how to install th is product safely, the n
please consult a professional for advice and/or to install this product for you.
Failure to mount t his product correctly may cause seri ous injury or death both during inst allation and at any time thereaf ter. Do
not mount any AV equipm ent that exceeds the specific weight limit of th e product you are installing.
This weight limit will b e clearly stated on each pr oduct and its packaging and will vary from pro duct to product.

Product location

Please pay careful attent ion to where this product is located. Some walls are not suitable for installation .
If located in a public or f requently populated are a ensure that the produc t is out of the immediate reach of people. If any AV
equipment is to be suspended over the likely path or location of people then great care should be taken to secure all parts of
the installation from falling. If you inst all this product on drywall it must be secure ly fixed to a wooden stud, concrete block or
other permanent structure behind the drywall board. I nstalling on drywall boards alone will not support the weight of m ost AV
equipment. When drilling holes in walls it is essentia l to avoid contact with elec trical cables and water or gas pipes contained
within. Use of a good quality live wire detec tor and hidden object locator is theref ore recommended. Only drill into stru ctures
when you are sure it is safe to do so.

Fixing hardware

It is highly recommended th at all wall fixing screws be u sed where supplied and that th e purpose of all other fixin g hardware is
fully understood. In some cases more AV equipment fixing hardware will be supplied to accommodate different models of
equipment and set up configurations. The installer must be satisfied that any supplied fixing hardware is suitable for each
specific installation. If any fixing screws or includ ed hardware are deemed not sufficient for a saf e installation then pleas e
consult a professional or your local hardware store.

Hazard limitat ion

When routing cables tak e advantage of any built in ca ble management features that the product mi ght provide and ensure th at
all cables are tidy and secu re. Check to see that any moving aspect of the pr oduct can do so unhindere d by any cabling.
Some products have m oving parts and the potenti al to cause injury through t he crushing or trapping o f fingers or other body
parts.
Particular attention to th e nature of moving parts is required especially whe n assembling installing and adjusting during set u p.
Immediately after install ations double-check that the work done is safe and secure. Double-check all necessary fixings are
present and are of ample tightness.
It is recommended that per iodic inspections of the product and its fixing points are made as freque ntly as possible to ensure
that safety is maintained. If in doubt consult a professional AV installer or other suitably qualified person.
