Pull the cartridge forward until it clicks into
place then close the cover.

If you enter a wrong digit or character, press or to move the cursor to the digit and overwrite it.

Connect up

Connect one end of the telephone cable to
the LINE socket of your PaperJet 35 and the other end to the telephone wall socket.

Connect the telephone handset cord to
the socket of your BT PaperJet 35.
Enter your name and fax number

Press repeatedly until the display shows INSTALLATION. Press repeatedly until the
display shows

Enter your name. Press . Enter your fax number. Press . Press to return to standby.
TYPE YOUR NAME.
Send faxes

Insert up to 5 sheets, printed side away from you, into the automatic document feed.

Dial the number you want and press .

Copying

Plug the power cable into the back of the
machine then connect to the mains. Switch on the mains power and wait for your machine to perform a start up check.

Install the paper support tray and insert up
to 40 sheets of paper.
SMS text messages
(You must have a working Caller Display Service.)
To activate your SMS service:

Press then scroll to CONFIGURATION.

Press twice to display the sending service centre number.
3
Press to display the receiving service centre number.
4
Press to confirm and again to return to standby.
Install print cartridge
Your BT PaperJet 35 is supplied with a starter ink cartridge.

Remove the print cartridge from its box and
peel off the protective film. Open the front cover and insert the cartridge.

Answering machine
You must first record an outgoing message.

Press repeatedly until the display shows TAD SET-UP.

Press then repeatedly until the display shows RECORD OGM1. Press and lift the
handset.

Press and speak your outgoing message into the handset. Press to end recording and
Hang up the handset.
Set to TAD/FAX reception mode

Press repeatedly until the display shows RECEPTION MODE then press .

Press or to scroll to TAD/FAX and press . Your answering machine is ready to take
messages.
