3. To secure frame in the wall, use supplied wood screw or masonry bolts
to x frame into position. Mounting holes are positioned in various
locations on the frame to assist with installation. DO NOT drill holes in
any other location!
NOTE: The frame must end up sitting ush with the front face of
the wall.
4. Insert model into the frame.
5. The model is secured to the frame by strong magnets located at the

The solid surface surrounds of your Brown Jordan Fire can be cleaned using a multi-purpose surface cleaner
and soft cloth. Avoid using harsh abrasives or scrubbing tools as they can scratch the product’s surface. It
is recommended to test a small area rst to ensure the cleaning product will not mark or damage the surface.
Maintenance and cleaning must be performed only when the burner
is OFF, COMPLETELY EMPTY, DRY and at ROOM TEMPERATURE.
FIBER REINFORCED NATURAL CONCRETE (FRC)
Concrete is a natural material and therefore each and every model will be
unique in appearance.
After a concrete surface is polished there are a variety of visual differences
that may be seen including water marks, trowel marks, marbling, mottled
effects and random spotting for example.
We cannot predict where the effects will show or what they will be – it is
part of the beauty of concrete.
Cleaning
Clean the concrete components of your product using mild soap (such
as dish soap) and water. Do not use heavy abrasive, bleach-based, or
ammoniated cleansers. Use of such cleansers will wear down the wax
protection and result in less stain resistance. We do not recommend use
of most natural cleansers (which are often citrus based), as the cleaning
agent is typically highly acidic and can damage natural materials.
Regular Maintenance
Re-wax periodically. Waxing your product regularly is a quick and easy
process that will provide additional protection against staining. Wax once
within 2 months of installation of your product and every 3 to 6 months
thereafter, depending on use and location. If the product is placed outside,
wax it well before the winter season begins. Recommended product for
this is Polish Wax® or any other commercially available Stone oor parafn
based wax. Use the protective cover when not in use and if the model is
not already raised, raise it off the ground.
Removing Stains
Even though concrete is not an overly porous material, liquids like red
wine could still be absorbed into the material - particularly if not well
maintained. To remove you could try a ne grit sand paper to remove the
stains from the surface (remembering to test a small patch in a discreet
area rst to ensure it doesn’t damage the surface). Then re-apply wax as
outlined under regular maintenance.
Avoiding Stains
Regular food preparation will not stain the concrete as the sealer and
wax serve as active barriers. In the event that the coating is knowingly
cut, scraped, or damaged, new wax should be reapplied. Spills should
be wiped up as soon as possible. While the waxing performs well
against stains from oils and acidic materials, prolonged exposure may
cause penetration of the sealer and possible discoloration.
Using felt or rubber feet pads is recommended to avoid contact with
below surfaces, particularly unglazed ceramics such as terracotta, as
these compete for residual moisture in the concrete and may cause
discoloration. Do not place hot objects on the surface as they may cause
discoloration. Using a trivet is recommended. Refrain from applying blue
painter’s tape or other adhesives directly to the product.
Although not considered a defect, non-structural hairline cracks are
possible and may result from shrinkage and the natural curing process.
If hairline cracks do appear, immediately apply a thick coat of wax and
rub in well to prevent moisture from seeping into the cracks and causing
discoloration. Re-wax the area and surrounding surfaces periodically as
detailed above.
STAINLESS STEEL
Cleaning
Clean your burner after you have used 13 gallons of fuel or as soon
as you notice black residue on or near the burner. To remove black
residue, rst make sure the burner is off, completely empty, dry, and at
room temperature. When cleaning stainless steel, always wipe in the
direction of the grain. Gently wipe the black residue from the surface of
the burner and use a vacuum cleaner to remove residue from inside and
around the burner opening. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away any
remaining residue.
If your burner smells unusually strong after extensive use, remove the
empty and room temperature burner from its surround and wash the
burner in hot, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly under running water. After
cleaning, do not replace the burner or light the re until all surfaces are
completely dry, including the inside of the burner.
