Power
380V / 220V – 50Hz
Preparation
a) Provide a power supply with a 16A fuse. Only use an earthed plug and position the power cable in such a way that it does not touch the hot parts of the device! b) The fruit juice to be pasteurised is preferably filtered or purified.
Use
1) Fill the pressure vessel with water up to 3 cm below the edge.
2) Put the lid on it and close firmly.
3) Connect the pasteurizer with the juice vessel and the bottle to be filled.
4) Switch the machine on and rinse with water (also fill the juice vessel with water first).
5) Then fill the juice vessel with juice. Open the exit of the machine (clip). A little bit of juice flows into the bottle and the hose will fill up with juice.
6) Close the exit with the clip and wait until the juice in the hose has reached a temperature of 75°C. Open and close the clip until the juice temperature can be kept constant. Close: temperature rises Open: temperature falls
7) Juice which has not reached the temperature of 75°C must be returned to the vessel.
8) Make sure that the juice vessel is always filled with juice!
Cleaning
Let a cleaning fluid (about 10 liters) run through the machine instead of juice, e.g. Chemipro Caustic. Then rinse with plenty of clean water. Clean the hoses.
Warning! Take the lid off only when there is no more pressure in the machine. Reduce the pressure by opening the pressure valve. Then leave to cool off.
Safety This machine is equipped with a safety thermostat. It automatically stops the heating. After cooling the machine automatically starts warming up again.
Tips
Regularly check whether the temperature is always 75°C. This ensures continuous filling. Put the device on a cooking ring to increase the capacity (20-30%).
