USING TH E FLASHLIGHT
1. To turn on the flashlight, press and hold the Flashlight Button for 2 seconds. The flashlight will turn on in low light mode.
2. Press the Flashlight Button again to turn on high light mode.
3. Press the Flashlight Button a third time to turn on red flashing mode.
4. To turn off the flashlight, press and hold the Flashlight Button for 2
seconds.
USING TH E SAFETY HAMM ER
In an emergency you can use the Safety Hammer to break a car window. Applying pressure to the Car Charger Plug exposes the hidden Safety Hammer.
Hold the 7-in-1 Car Charger in your hand and strike the corner of car window. The corners and edges are the weakest areas of the window.

an extremely sharp tip. Use with caution.
USING TH E SAFETY CUTTER
In an emergency when you are unable to release your seat belt from its buckle, use the Safety Cutter to free yourself.
Hold the plug end of the 7-in-1 Car Charger and slice through the seat belt with the Safety Cutter.

CHARGING TH E BATTERY
You can recharge the 7-in-1 Car Charger's battery using your car's 12V auxilliary power outlet or using a USB connection.
• To charge the battery using a 12V auxilliary power outlet, plug the charger into a 12V outlet in your car.
• To charge the battery using a USB connection, plug the Micro USB Connector into the Micro USB Port (DC Input) on the Charger and plug the USB Connector into a USB port on an active device or USB adapter.
When the battery is charging, the four Indicator Lights illuminate one-by-one. Once all four are lit, the battery is fully charged. Charging time is generally 3 to 4 hours, but varies depending on the output power of the device being used.
CHARGING A DEVICE
To charge a device, plug the USB Connector into the USB Port (DC Output) on the charger and plug the Micro USB Connector into your device. The charging indicator on your device will light.
If your device is an iPhone or iPad, use your original iPhone or iPad cable.
USING TH E ALARM
To activate the alarm, slide the SOS Switch. The alarm will sound.

CHECKING THE BATTERY CAPACITY
The 7-in-1 Car Charger contains a rechargeable battery. The battery is pre­charged, but over time, and with use, batteries slowly lose their charge.
To check the capacity of the charger's battery, tap the Capacity Check Button.
• If 4 blue indicators light, the battery capacity is at 75% to 100%.
• If 3 blue indicators light, the battery capacity is at 50% to 75%.
• If 2 blue indicators light, the battery capacity is at 25% to 50%.
• If 1 blue indicator lights, the battery capacity is at 0% to 25%.

ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Brookstone® warrants this product against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Brookstone will either
1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or
2) replace the product with a new product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or 3) provide a store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the original product. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part installed in accordance with instructions provided by Brookstone, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Brookstone’s property. When a store credit is given, the original product must be returned to Brookstone and becomes Brookstone’s property.
Obtaining Service: To obtain warranty service, call Brookstone Limited Warranty Service at 1-800-292-9819. Please be prepared to describe the product that needs service and the nature of the problem. A purchase receipt is required. All repairs and replacements must be authorized in advance. Service options, parts availability and response times will vary. You are responsible for delivery and the cost of delivery of the product or any parts to the authorized service center for replacement, per our instructions.
Limits and Exclusions: Coverage under this Limited Warranty is limited to the United States of America, including the District of Columbia and the U.S. Territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured for Brookstone that can be identified by the “Brookstone” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them or their packaging. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Brookstone products. Manufacturers or suppliers other than Brookstone may provide their own warranties to the purchaser, but Brookstone, in so far as permitted by law, provides these products “as is.” This warranty does not apply to: a) damage caused by failure to follow instructions relating to product’s use or the installation of
components; b) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, floods, earthquake or other external causes; c) damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of Brookstone; d) accessories used in conjunction with a covered product; e) a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability; f) items intended to be periodically replaced by the purchaser during the normal life of the product including, without limitation, batteries or light bulbs; g) any product sold “as is” including, without limitation, floor demonstration models and refurbished items; or h) a product that is used commercially or for a commercial purpose.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem: The charger does not work. Solutions: Ensure that the adapter is
suitable for your electronic equipment. Press the Capacity Check Button to ensure
that the battery is charged. It is advisable to charge the battery a minimum of once every 6 months.

Do not scrape the surface of the product with sharp objects.
Clean the charger with a clean, dry cloth.
