When using an electrical massager, basic precautions should always be followed. Read all instructions before using this massager.
Non-observance of the instructions may result in personal injury or material damage (electric shock, skin burns, fire). The following safety and hazard information is not only intend to protect your health and the health of others, it should also protect the product. For this reason, pay attention to these safety notes and include these instructions when handing over the product to others.
DANGER – To reduce the risk of electric
shock:
1. Do not reach for this massager if it has fallen into water while the battery is charging. Unplug the charging cable immediately.
2. Do not use while bathing or in a shower.
3. Do not place or store massager where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
4. If liquid is accidentally spilled onto the massager while charging, remove the charging cable from the power source immediately. Do not use wet hands to connect or disconnect the charging cable.
5. Do not operate during a lightning storm while charging.
6. Always remember to turn off the power switch after use.
7. Do not place the charging cable under any heavy objects.
8. Do not wind the charging cable around the massager
as this may damage the cable and result in a fire or electric shock.
9. Do not operate the massager with a damaged battery cord.
10. Do not charge the battery with a damaged charging cable.

1. This massager should never be left unattended while charging.
2. Do not operate under blanket. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
3. Close supervision is necessary when this massager is used by, on or near children, invalids or disabled persons.
4. Use this massager only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by Brookstone.
5. Never operate this massager if it has a damaged battery cord or charging cable, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Contact Brookstone Customer Service at 800-292-9819.
6. Do not carry this massager by the battery cord or charging cable or use cord or cable as a handle.
7. Keep the cord and cable away from heated surfaces.
8. Do not use outdoors while charging.
9. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
10. To disconnect, press the power button to turn the massager off, then remove the charging cable from the power source.
11. Use heated surfaces carefully. May cause serious burns, regardless of heat setting. Check skin under pillow frequently. Do not use over insensitive skin areas or in the presence of poor circulation. The unattended use of heat by children or disabled persons may be dangerous.
12. Never use pins or other metallic fasteners with this massager.
13. Do not sit on or crush pillow. Avoid sharp folds.
14. Never use the pillow without its cover in place.
15. Do not use the massager when the inner cover is ripped, torn, or removed. This may cause injury or malfunction. Call for service if the covering shows any sign of deterioration, such as ripping.
16. Check this pillow frequently for signs of wear and tear or damage. If you detect signs of improper use, it must be inspected by the manufacturer before turning it on again.
17. If the cables of the pillow or the charger are damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service department.
18. Keep dry - do not wet. Do not operate in a wet or moist condition. Do not use the massager when your body is wet. Do not operate this massager with wet hands.
19. This massager is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of this massager by a person responsible for their safety.
20. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with this massager. It is not a toy.
21. Do not use on an infant or children up to 3 years old as they are unable to respond to overheating.
22. Any individual who may be pregnant, or recently gave birth, has a heart condition, or a pacemaker, suffers from diabetes or other sensory impairment, phlebitis and/or thrombosis, joint dysfunction, inflammation or injuries, weak bones, osteoporosis, a high fever, an abnormal or curved spine, is at an increased risk of developing blood clots, has pins/screws/artificial joints or other medical devices implanted in his/her body, is being treated for a medical condition or physical injury or is under a doctor’s care should consult with a medical professional before using this massager.
23. This product is not intended for self-treatment of conditions that should be managed by a qualified
healthcare provider.
24. Consult your physician before using this massager.
25. This massager is designed as a non-professional massager to soothe tired and aching muscles. It is not intended to be a substitute for medical attention. If your ailments and symptoms persist or worsen after use, contact your physician immediately.
26. Do not use this massager if you are not feeling well.
27. Stop operation immediately if you experience any discomfort.
28. Do not fall asleep during the massage session.
29. Do not use after taking pain killers, sedatives or alcohol.
30. Do not use this massager in combination with other therapeutic equipment or electric blanket, etc., as this may result in ineffectiveness or injury.
31. Do not disassemble any part of the massager. Touching the internal components may result in malfunction or electric shock.
32. Do not operate for more than 20 continuous minutes. Turn off the massager and allow it to rest (cool) for 40 minutes before re-using. This will prolong the life of the massager.
33. Do not perform continuous massage on the same spot of your body for more than 5 minutes at a time as this may result in excessive stimulation and may have adverse effects.
34. Never use the massager on open skin eruptions, swollen or inflamed areas.
35. If the power goes off during use while charging, be sure to press the power switch to turn off the massager and pull the charging cable out from the power source to prevent damage from occurring when the power is restored.
36. Do not dry clean this pillow. Cleaning solvents may have a deteriorating effect on the insulation of the heating element.
37. This pillow is not designed for use in hospitals.
38. If the heated massage pillow is being used over several hours, set it to the lowest temperature to avoid overheating, which may lead to burns to the skin.

ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Brookstone® warrants this product against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Brookstone will either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or
2) replace the product with a new product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or 3) provide a store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the original product. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part installed in accordance with instructions provided by Brookstone, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Brookstone’s property. When a store credit is given, the original product must be returned to Brookstone and becomes Brookstone’s property.
Obtaining Service: To obtain warranty service, call Brookstone Limited Warranty Service at 1-800-292-9819. Please be prepared to describe the product that needs service and the nature of the problem. A purchase receipt is required. All repairs and replacements must be authorized in advance. Service options, parts availability and response times will vary. You are responsible for delivery and the cost of delivery of the product or any parts to the authorized service center for replacement, per our instructions.
Limits and Exclusions: Coverage under this Limited Warranty is limited to the United States of America, including the District of Columbia and the U.S. Territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured for Brookstone that can be identified by the “Brookstone” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them or their packaging. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Brookstone products. Manufacturers or suppliers other than Brookstone may provide their own warranties to the purchaser, but Brookstone, in so far as permitted by law, provides these products “as is.” This warranty does not apply to: a) damage caused by failure to follow instructions
relating to product’s use or the installation of components; b) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, floods, earthquake or other external causes; c) damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of Brookstone; d) accessories used in conjunction with a covered product; e) a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability; f) items intended to be periodically replaced by the purchaser during the normal life of the product including, without limitation, batteries or light bulbs; g) any product sold “as is” including, without limitation, floor demonstration models and refurbished items; or h) a product that is used commercially or for a commercial purpose.

LI-ION BATTERY WARNING
This device contains a Lithium-Ion battery. The battery must be recycled or disposed of properly. Contact your local waste management office for information on battery recycling or disposal.
Use only the supplied cable to recharge the battery. Improper charging may damage the battery and the device.
Do not attempt to open the rechargeable battery or battery pack. There are no serviceable parts inside.
Keep the battery out of reach of children. If swallowed, consult a physician immediately.
Do not dispose of battery in a fire as it may explode. The battery may also explode if damaged.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
The pillow's battery must be charged before first use.
To charge the battery:
1. Unzip the pillow case and slide the battery out of the insert pocket.
2. Insert the charging cable's Micro USB connector into the Micro USB port on the battery, and insert the USB connector into a USB port on an active device or USB Adapter.
3. Press the battery's Power Button. The blue LED lights
will indicate the level of charge. When all 3 lights are lit, the battery is fully charged.
4. Remove the charging cable, return the battery to the insert pocket, and zip the pillow case to close.
OPERATION
1. Press and hold the pillow's Power Button for 3 seconds. The LED glows red, indicating that the heating function is on and the temperature is set to high.
2. Press the Power Button again for vibration without heat. The LED changes to blue.
3. Press the Power Button a third time for vibration and heat. The LED changes to green.
4. Continuing to press the Power Button cycles through the settings.
5. To turn off, press and hold the pillow's Power Button for 3 seconds.
NOTE: The pillow includes a safety thermal switch. A sensor prevents the pillow from overheating by automatically switching off when the temperature reaches a set maximum.
