CAUTION
• This device contains magnets. To avoid damage or malfunction, keep credit cards and other products that are sensitive to magnetic fields away from this device.
• When used in Noise Cancelling mode, these earbuds diminish your ability to hear background noise. For your safety and the safety of others, do not use Noise Cancelling mode while driving, cycling, or in any situation where reduced ability to hear your surroundings may be hazardous.
• These earbuds fit snugly in your ears. Long-time use may cause discomfort. If you experience discomfort, remove the earbuds.
• Pushing the earbuds too far into your ears, or removing them with a fast motion, may cause discomfort. Remove your earbuds slowly.
• Listening to audio at a high volume may affect your hearing.
• The static electricity accumulated in the body may cause a slight feeling of electric shock when using the earbuds. Wearing clothes made of natural materials can reduce this affect.
• Do not drop, crush, bend or apply excessive force to the device.
• Do not expose the device to moisture, extreme or prolonged heat, cold, humidity, or other adverse conditions. Avoid storage in damp, humid or wet locations.
• The unit can only be opened by qualified personnel.

LITHIUM-ION BATTERY WARNING
This device contains a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery. The battery
must be recycled or disposed of properly. Contact your local waste management office for information on battery recycling or disposal.
Use only the supplied cable to recharge the battery. Improper charging may damage the battery and the device.
Do not attempt to open the rechargeable battery or battery pack. There are no serviceable parts inside.
Keep the battery out of reach of children. If swallowed, consult a physician immediately.
Do not dispose of battery in a fire as it may explode. Battery may also explode if damaged.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
Charge the battery for at least 8 hours before first use. After charging, the device can be used without the power connection.
If the device is not used for a long period of time, the battery may require recharging. A tone sounds twice per minute when the battery is low.
To charge the battery:
1. Plug the USB connector into a USB port on an active device. (If the Micro USB connector is extended, press the blue button and push in
the Micro USB connector to retract it.)
2. Place the USB end of the magnetic charging unit and the earbud end of the magnetic charging unit together. The Charging Indicator turns red during charging. The indicator turns off when the earbuds are fully charged.

CHARGING WITH THE OTG CONNECTOR
The On The Go (OTG) Connector offers an alternative way to charge the
battery, using a Micro USB port.
To charge the battery using the OTG Connector:
1. On the back side of the USB/OTG Connector, press up on the small blue recessed line to extend the Micro USB connector, and press up on the second blue line to fully extend the Micro USB connector. The blue button will pop into its slot when the connector is fully extended.
2. Insert the Micro USB connector into a Micro USB port in a device that supports the OTG charging function.
3. Place the USB end of the magnetic charging unit and the earbud end of the magnetic charging unit together. The Charging Indicator turns red during charging. The indicator turns off when the earbuds are fully charged.
4. To retract the Micro USB, press in on the blue button and press down on the Micro USB connector.

PAIRING WITH BLUETOOTH
®
1. Prepare your device (e.g., smartphone) to pair using Bluetooth®, making sure that the device is within 33 feet of the earbuds. Refer to your device's owner’s manual for information on using the Bluetooth
®
function.
2. Press and hold the earbud's ON/OFF Button until the Pairing Indicator (on the back of the in-line controller) quick flashes blue, indicating that the earbuds are in pairing mode.
3. On your device, search the list of available devices and select ANC EARBUDS. Note that it may take a few seconds for the earbuds to be listed as an available device. Depending on your device, you may have to tap SCAN to update the device list. Consult your device's owner's manual.
4. If prompted, type the password or PIN 0000. A message will display on your device confirming that your device is now
paired/connected and the earbud's Pairing Indicator will slow flash blue indicating that the device is paired.
The devices will remain paired, even after being turned off, until you
cancel the pairing. Consult your device's owner's manual for information on cancelling pairing.

ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Brookstone® warrants this product against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Brookstone will either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or 2) replace the product with a new product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or 3) provide a store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the original product. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part installed in accordance with instructions provided by Brookstone, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Brookstone’s property. When a store credit is given, the original product must be returned to Brookstone and becomes Brookstone’s property.
Obtaining Service: To obtain warranty service, call Brookstone Limited Warranty Service at 1-800-292-9819. Please be prepared to describe the product that needs service and the nature of the problem. A purchase receipt is required. All repairs and replacements must be authorized in advance. Service options, parts availability and response times will vary. You are responsible for delivery and the cost of delivery of the product or any parts to the authorized service center for replacement, per our instructions.
Limits and Exclusions: Coverage under this Limited Warranty is limited to the United States of America, including the District of Columbia and the U.S. Territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured for Brookstone that can be identified by the “Brookstone” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them or their packaging.
