Active Holder
for Fixed Installation
With Molex adapter system
An active holder with a straight cable with
open end for fixed installation and a cable with
Molex adapter system. The cables are to be
connected inside the dashboard, this gives a
discreet, neat installation without cables hanging over the interior.
You can choose to use the holder as an active
holder only for charging, or to connect an
adapter to the Molex connector for additional
features. Then you can use the holder also for
power supply of a GPS receiver, data transfer
or other own solutions. (Support for TX/RX
signal in the device is required.)
The holder is attached onto a tilt swivel so it
can be adjusted in order to avoid light reflection. Attach onto the ProClip Mounting
Platform.
New improved charger
The 2nd Generation Molex active holder has now
been released. The charger has many improved
features, such as
- New overmoulded connector
- Improved protection against peaks
- Built-in resettable fuse in the box (2 A)
- Improved overload protection
- New box design, with ventilation holes
- More efficient charging, generates less heat
The product is CE and E approved.
Connect the power cable with a 2 A fuse.
5 Volt out.
2 A charger.
12/24 Volt.
