SAFEGUARDS FOR YOUR CITRUS PRESS
• Always make sure the Citrus Press is properly assembled before use.
• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
• Use caution when operating the Citrus Press
- do not place hands or fingers on or near moving, rotating or hinged parts as this may cause injury.
3
• The Citrus Press is fitted with an internal self-resetting overload to protect the motor. In order to avoid the possible hazard of the Citrus Press starting by itself due to inadvertent resetting of the overload protector, do not attach an external switching device (such as a timer) or connect to a circuit that can regularly switch the Citrus Press on and off.
NOTE
• If the motor stalls or stops, the Motor overload may have tripped. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool for 20-30 minutes.

BREVILLE ASSIST
Your Breville appliance comes with a unique Assist conveniently designed with a finger hole to ease removal from the power outlet.
NOTICE
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
Your Breville appliance is fitted with a short power supply cord to reduce personal injury or property damage resulting from pulling, tripping or becoming entangled with a longer cord. If an extension cord is used, (1) the marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, (2) the cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or table-top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally and (3) the extension cord must include a 3-prong grounding plug.
