1 Einleitung

Diese Bedienungsanleitung muss vollständig und sorgfältig durchgelesen werden.
Sie ist Bestandteil des von Ihnen neu erworbenen Produktes und enthält wichtige Hinweise für den
Betrieb und die Handhabung. Es sind beim Gebrauch dieses Produktes immer alle Sicherheits­hinweise zu beachten. Die Flachleuchte Jet-Light FL-18 ist zum Stellen, Hängen und Legen, sowie als
tragbare Leuchte für den Innen und Außenbereich geeignet.
Bei auftretenden Fragen bezüglich der Benutzung der Flachleuchte Jet-Light FL-18 kontaktieren Sie
Ihren Händler oder unsere Servicestelle. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist aufzubewahren und muss ggf.
an Dritte weitergereicht werden.

3 Sicherheitshinweise

WICHTIG:

Beachten Sie die nachfolgenden Hinweise, um Verletzungen oder Sachschäden zu vermeiden.
Betriebsumgebung: Die Flachleuchte Jet-Light FL-18 ist gegen Feuchtigkeit und Spritzwasser
geschützt. Beachten Sie jedoch, dass das Gerät nicht wasserdicht ist.

GEFAHR: Beim Nichtbeachten besteht Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Strom.

Bei auftretenden Schäden, welche durch das Nichtbeachten dieser Bedienungsanleitung,
insbesondere der Sicherheitshinweise und der Handhabung auftreten, erlischt die Garantie.
Ebenso wird für Folgeschäden keine Haftung übernommen.

- Bei erkennbaren Defekten ist das Betreiben der Flachleuchte Jet-Light FL-18 nicht gestattet.

- Öffnen Sie niemals die Flachleuchte Jet-Light FL-18 außer beim Einsetzen des Leuchtmittels.

Solche Eingriffe bedeuten Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag.

- Aus Sicherheitsgründen ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen, manipulieren und/oder das
Verändern der Flachleuchte Jet-Light FL-18 nicht erlaubt.

- Schauen Sie niemals direkt in das Licht.

- Verwenden Sie die Flachleuchte Jet-Light FL-18 nicht in explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung, in

welcher sich brennbare Flüssigkeiten, Gase oder Stäube befinden.

- Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Flachleuchte Jet-Light FL-18 auf Beschädigungen.

- Zum Wechseln der Leuchtmittel muss die Flachleuchte Jet-Light FL-18 von der Netzspannung

getrennt werden. Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose.

- Reparaturen dürfen nur durch eine autorisierte Fachkraft durchgeführt werden.

- Lassen Sie die Flachleuchte Jet-Light FL-18 vor Berührung (z.B. beim Leuchtmittelwechsel)

abkühlen.

- Halten Sie zu jeder Seite einen Mindestabstand von 0,5 m zu brennbaren Materialien ein

- Eine beschädigte Zuleitung darf nur durch den Kundendienst oder durch eine autorisierte

Fachkraft ausgetauscht werden.

6 Bedienung und Montage

Beachten Sie die nachfolgenden Hinweise, insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise, um Fehlbedie­nungen und mögliche Defekte zu vermeiden.

7 Erste Inbetriebnahme

Montieren Sie die Flachleuchte Jet-Light wie im Bild angegeben:

WICHTIG: Kontrollieren Sie vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme alle Schraubverbindungen.

8 Leuchtmittel und Starter wechseln

GEFAHR:

Vor Öffnen der Lampe Netzstecker ziehen!
Lassen Sie die Flachleuchte Jet-Light FL-18 vor Berührung abkühlen (mindestens 15 Minuten).
Berührungen können zu Verbrennungen führen. Nur 110 V - 130 V Starter verwenden!

9 Reinigung

Vor Reinigung Netzstecker ziehen. Aus Gründen der elektrischen Sicherheit ist das Gerät mit einem
trockenen oder einem feuchten Tuch zu reinigen. Verwenden Sie keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel
bzw. Chemikalien (Lösungsmittel, Benzin etc.) und keine rauen Schwämme. Flachleuchte Jet-Light
FL-18 niemals in Wasser tauchen.

10 Entsorgung

Am Ende der Lebensdauer des Produktes darf dieses nicht im normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
Erkundigen Sie sich bei Ihrer Stadt- oder Gemeindeverwaltung nach Möglichkeiten einer umwelt- und
sachgerechten Entsorgung des Gerätes.

1 Introduction

These operating instructions must be carefully read in full. They are an integral part of your newly
purchased product and contain important information for its operation and use. Always observe all the
safety instructions when using this product. The Jet Light FL-18 is suitable for standing upright,
hanging and laying flat and can be used as a portable light indoors and outside. If you have any
questions about using the Jet Light FL-18, please contact your dealer or our customer service
department. The operating instructions should be kept in a safe place and be passed on to third
parties, if necessary.

3 Safety instructions

IMPORTANT:

Please note the following information in order to avoid injury or damage.
Operating environment: The Jet Light FL-18 is protected against damp and splashes. Please note,
however, that the device is not waterproof.

DANGER: Non-observance of safety instructions can result in danger to life by electric current.

The guarantee shall be rendered invalid for damage which occurs as a result of not complying with
these operating instructions, especially the usage and safety instructions.
Likewise, the manufacturer shall not be liable for any consequential damage or loss.

- If defects are detected, do not use the Jet Light FL-18.

- Never open the Jet Light FL-18 except to replace the light bulbs. Such interventions can result

in risk of death by electric shock.

- Unauthorized remodeling, manipulation and/or altering the Jet Light FL-18 are not permitted
on safety grounds.

- Never look directly at the light.

- Do not use the Jet Light FL-18 in environments where there is a risk of explosion in which

there are flammable liquids, gases or dust.

- Regularly check the Jet Light FL-18 for damage.

- Disconnect the Jet-Light FL18 from the power supply when changing the tubular lamps. Pull

the plug out of the socket.

- Repairs must be carried out by authorised technicians only.

- Allow the Jet-Light FL-18 to cool down before touching it (e.g. when wishing to change the

light bulb).

- Ensure that there is a distance of at least 0.5 m on all sides from flammable materials

6 Operation and assembly

Please note the following information, particularly the safety information, in order to avoid operating
errors and possible defects.

7 Using for the first time

Assemble the Jet Light as shown in the diagram:

IMPORTANT: Check all the screw connections before using for the first time.

8 Changing the tubular lamps and the starter

DANGER:

Remove the plug from the mains before opening the lamp!
Allow the Jet-Light FL-18 to cool down before touching it (at least 15 minutes).
Touching it while hot could cause burns. Use only 110 V – 130 V starter!

1 Unscrew the protective cover
2 Remove light bulb

3 Remove distance piece
4 Slip distance piece over new lamp
5 Insert new light bulbs applying light pressure until they lock into place

1 Unscrew the protective cover
2 Gently twist the starter to the left and pull out (bayonet fitting)
3 Insert the starter and lock into place by gently twisting to the right (bayonet fitting)

9 Cleaning

Pull the plug out before cleaning. For safety reasons, clean the equipment with a dry or damp cloth.
Do not use any acid cleaning agents or chemicals (solvents, petroleum spirits, etc.) or rough sponges.
Never submerge the Jet Light FL-18 in water.

10 Disposal

At the end of its life-span, do not dispose of the product with the normal domestic refuse. Enquire
about your local council’s policy for disposing of the device in a proper and environmentally-friendly
way.

6 Utilisation et montage

Veuillez respecter les consignes ci-après, en particulier les consignes de sécurité, afin d'éviter toutes
fausses manœuvres et des défaillances éventuelles.

7 Première mise en service

Montez le luminaire plat Jet-Light comme illustré sur l'image.

IMPORTANT : Avant la première mise en service, vérifiez tous les assemblages par vis.

8 Remplacement de la lampe + du starter

DANGER :

Sortez la fiche mâle de la prise de courant avant d'ouvrir la lampe.
Laissez refroidir (pendant au moins 15 minutes) le luminaire plat Jet-Light FL-18 avant de le toucher.
Tout contact peut occasionner des brûlures. Utilisation exclusive de Starter 110 - 130 V~!

9 Nettoyage

Sortez la fiche mâle de la prise de courant avant tout nettoyage. Pour des raisons de sécurité
électrique, l'appareil doit être nettoyé avec un chiffon sec ou humide. Evitez d'utiliser des produits de
nettoyage corrosifs ou des produits chimiques (solvants, essence, etc.), et pas d'éponges rugueuses.
Ne plongez jamais le luminaire plat Jet-Light FL-18 dans l'eau.

10 Mise au rebut

A la fin de la période de vie du produit, il faudra éviter de le jeter avec les ordures ménagères
usuelles. Renseignez-vous auprès de l'administration de votre ville ou de votre commune à propos
des possibilités de mise au rebut adéquate de l'appareil en évitant de polluer l'environnement.

1 Inleiding

U dient deze gebruikshandleiding volledig en aandachtig te lezen.
Deze maakt deel uit van het door u nieuw gekochte product en bevat belangrijke instructies voor
gebruik en behandeling. Bij gebruik van dit product moeten alle veiligheidsinstructies in acht worden
genomen. De Jet-Light FL-18 schijnwerper kan rechtop staand, hangend en liggend worden gebruikt
en is geschikt als draaglamp voor toepassingen binnens- en buitenshuis.
Bij vragen omtrent het gebruik van de Jet-Light FL-18 schijnwerper kunt u contact opnemen met uw
leverancier of onze serviceafdeling. De gebruikshandleiding zorgvuldig bewaren en desgewenst aan
derden ter hand stellen.

3 Veiligheidsinstructies

BELANGRIJK:

Leef de onderstaande instructies volledig na, om letsel en materiële schade te voorkomen.
Gebruiksomgeving: De Jet-Light FL-18 schijnwerper is tegen vocht en spatwater beveiligd.
Bedenk evenwel dat het apparaat niet waterdicht is!

GEVAAR: Bij veronachtzaming van de instructies bestaat levensgevaar door elektrische stroom.

In geval van schade die het gevolg is van veronachtzaming van deze gebruikshandleiding, en wel in
het bijzonder de veiligheids- en gebruiksinstructies, vervalt de garantie.
Tevens wordt in dat geval door de fabrikant geen aansprakelijkheid aanvaard.

- Bij waarneembare defecten is het gebruik van de Jet-Light FL-18 schijnwerper niet

toegestaan.

- De Jet-Light FL-18 schijnwerper nooit openen, behalve bij het aanbrengen van de lamp.
Bij dergelijke ingrepen bestaat levensgevaar door elektrische schok.

- Om veiligheidsredenen is het eigenmachtig ombouwen, manipuleren en/of modificeren van de
Jet-Light FL-18 schijnwerper niet toegestaan.

- Kijk nooit rechtstreeks in het licht.

- Gebruik de Jet-Light FL-18 schijnwerper niet in explosieve omgeving, waar zich brandbare

vloeistoffen, gassen of stofverzamelingen bevinden.

- Inspecteer de Jet-Light FL-18 schijnwerper regelmatig op beschadigingen.

- Voor het verwisselen van de lampen moet de Jet-Light FL-18 schijnwerper altijd eerst van de

netspanning worden afgekoppeld. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.

- Reparaties mogen uitsluitend door een geautoriseerde elektromonteur worden uitgevoerd.

- Laat de Jet-Light FL-18 schijnwerper altijd eerst afkoelen alvorens deze aan te raken (bijv. bij

het aanbrengen van de lamp).

- Houd aan beide zijden een minimumafstand van 0,5 m t.o.v. brandbare materialen aan

- Een beschadigde voedingsleiding mag uitsluitend door onze servicedienst of door een
geautoriseerde elektromonteur worden vervangen.
