La couronne-poussoir II a deux
positions:

1. Changement de fuseau
(par une pression)
Lecture des fuseaux horaires
Cette montre permet de mémoriser
deux heures de localités différentes
(ou identiques), mais seul un des
deux fuseaux est affiché sur l’aiguillage principal. L’heure affichée
correspond donc à la localité figurant
sur le disque des villes A qui apparaît
dans le guichet situé à 6 heures.
L’aiguille d’affichage jour/nuit C
indique si la ville du fuseau horaire
sélectionnée est dans le jour ou la
nuit.
Mise en marche de la montre
Couronne I en position 1. Cette position permet de remonter manuellement le mouvement automatique,
c’est-à-dire d’effectuer le remon tage
en tournant la couronne vers le haut
(▲) de 40 à 45 tours. Ensuite, la
montre portée au poignet se remonte automatiquement. Non portée,
après un armage complet, elle s’arrêtera après 55 heures environ.
Mise à l’heure
En premier lieu, tirer la couronnepoussoir II en positon 2. Puis tourner
la couronne-poussoir II dans un sens
ou dans l’autre jusqu’à ce que la ville
où l’on se trouve ou que l’on a choisie
(ou, à défaut, la ville située sur le même
fuseau horaire que celle où l’on se trouve ou que l’on a choisie) apparaisse
dans le guichet à 6 heures (A), repousser la couronne-poussoir II en position 1.
Tirer la couronne I en position 3, de
manière à stopper l’aiguille des se condes au moment où elle atteint 12
heures et ainsi obtenir une mise à l’heure précise. Puis tourner la couronne
vers le haut (
) pour faire avancer les
▲
aiguilles jusqu’au changement de date
à minuit. Ensuite, mettre la montre à
l’heure correspondant au fuseau de la
ville affichée en faisant avancer les
aiguilles. Pour une mise à l’heure précise, s’assurer que la dernière manipulation s’est bien effectuée dans le sens
horaire. Repousser la couronne en
position 1 de manière à faire repartir
l’aiguille des secondes avec exactitude. Après cette opération, donner un
▼
tour à la couronne vers le bas (
) afin
de s’assurer qu’elle tourne librement.
Correction rapide de la date
Tirer la couronne I en position 2 et
la tourner vers le haut (▲) pour avancer jusqu’à la date voulue ou vers le
bas (▼) pour reculer jusqu’à la date
voulue. Puis repousser la couronne
en position 1.

Réglage de la montre sur le
fuseau horaire synchronisé
Appuyer sur la couronne-poussoir II
de manière à ne pas rester sur la ville
«référence», puis tirer la couronnepoussoir II en positon 2 et tourner la
couronne-poussoir II dans un sens
ou dans l’autre jusqu’à ce que la ville
désirée (ou, à défaut, la ville située
sur le même fuseau horaire que celle
désirée) apparaisse dans le guichet à
6 heures (A), repousser la couronne-poussoir II en position 1.
Si l’opération «Mise à l’heure» a préalablement été effectuée, les données
affichées pour le second fuseau sont
exactes.
Changement de fuseau horaire
Couronne-poussoir II en position 1.
Pour passer d’un fuseau à l’autre
(après un changement de fuseau
horaire lors d’un voyage par
exemple), presser sur la couronnepoussoir II.
Remarques
Aucune opération n’est autorisée
sur la couronne-poussoir II
lorsque la couronne I est en position 2 (changement de la date).
Changer de sens de rotation
lorsque la couronne-poussoir II
est en positon 2 et qu’une flèche
apparaît sur le disque des villes
dans le guichet à 6 heures (A).

The crown I has three positions:
1. Neutral position (manual
winding)
2. Rapid date correction
3. Time-setting position with
stop-seconds function
The crown-pushbutton II has two
positions:
Crown function:
1. Neutral position
2. Choosing the time zone.
Pushbutton function:
1. Changing the time zone
(by a push)
Reading the time zones
This watch can memorize two times
in different places (or in the same
place), but only one of the two time
zones is displayed by the main hand.
This indicates the time in the city
shown on the cities disc A in the window at 6 o’clock. The indicator hand
C shows whether it is day or night in
that city.
Starting the watch
Crown I in position 1. This position
enables manual winding of the automatic movement by rotating the crown
upwards (▲) about 40-45 turns.
Afterwards, when worn on the wrist,
the watch is rewound automatically.
When it is not worn, the fully wound
watch will run for about 55 hours.
Setting the time
First, pull the crown-pushbutton II
into position 2. Then turn it in either
direction until the window at 6 o’clock
(A) displays the city you are in or the
city you have chosen (or, failing that,
the city representing the time zone
you are in or the time zone you have
chosen). Then push the crown-pushbutton back into position 1.
Pull the crown I out to position 3 to
stop the seconds hand when it reaches 12 o’clock. This enables precise
time-setting. Then turn the crown
upwards (▲) to advance the hands
until the date changes at midnight.
Continue advancing the hands to set
the watch to the time in the zone of
the displayed city. For accurate timesetting, ensure that the last operation
is done with the hands moving clock-
wise. Then push the crown back to
position 1 starting the seconds handprecisely, and rotate it downwards

) to make sure it turns freely.

Rapid date setting
Pull the crown I out to position 2.
Turn the crown upwards (▲) to move
forwards to the desired date, or downwards (▼) to move backwards to the
desired date. Then push the crown
back to position 1.

Setting the watch to the
synchronised time zone
Press the crown-pushbutton II to
move away from the reference city,
then pull it into position 2 and turn
it in either direction until the window
at 6 o’clock (A) displays the city you
are in or the city you have chosen (or,
failing that, the city representing the
time zone you are in or the time zone
you have chosen). Then push the
crown-pushbutton back into position 1.
If the “Setting the time” operation has
already been carried out, the indications for the second time zone are correct.
Changing the time zone
Crown-pushbutton II in position 1.
To change from one time zone to
another (when travelling across time
zones, for example), press the crownpushbutton II.
Note:
Do not activate the crown-pushbutton II when the crown I is in
position 2 (setting the date).
When turning the crown-pushbutton II in position 2, if an
arrow appears on the cities disc
in the window at 6 o’clock (A),
change the turning direction.

Standard time

some zones deviates from the meridian, in order to take account of national borders.
