Please read the use instructions carefully and
thoroughly before using the appliance.

Caution

Keep the appliance out of the reach of
children.
When using the appliance for the first time,
start by testing it on a small area of your arm.
If any sensitivity or allergic reaction occurs,
discontinue the use immediately. Do not use
the appliance on irritated skin.

Batteries

This appliance operates with one AAA 1.5 V
battery. For best performance, use an alka­line manganese battery (type LR03, AM4,
AAA, e.g. Duracell).

• Make sure the appliance is turned off.

• Remove the battery compartment cover (4)
by pulling downwards (a).

• Insert the battery with the (+) and (–) poles
in the direction marked.

• Close the battery compartment.

Note: If the appliance is not used for long
periods of time, do not leave the battery
inserted (danger of leakage). Take an expired
battery out of the appliance immediately.

Used batteries should not be disposed
of with the household waste. Please

dispose of them at special collection
points or return them to your retailer or
authorised service centres.

Using the appliance

Your SilkFinish comes with two ultra slim
cutting heads which have different cutting
area sizes. Both heads are uniquely con­toured to closely and safely remove any
unwanted hair on every curve of your body
and face (eyebrowns, chin, upper lip etc.).

The regular cutting head (2) is ideal for re­moving or trimming hair.
The precision cutting head (8) is perfect for
detailing and removal of stray hairs.

Getting started

• Remove the protective cap (1).

• Slide the on/off switch (3) up to turn the

appliance on.

• Place the cutting head against the hair to

be removed and guide it slowly against the
direction of hair growth. For optimum
results, pull the skin taut with one hand
while using.

• Turn the appliance off before changing the

cutting heads.

• To exchange cutting head (2) with cutting

head (8) and vice versa, rotate the head
counterclockwise 90°, then lift the head.
Attach the other head by inserting it into

the corresponding opening on top of the
body, then rotate 90° clockwise (b).

Your SilkFinish comes with two trimming
combs in different lengths for trimming
eyebrows or hair in other body parts to a
uniform length: (7) long = 8 mm /1/3",
(6) short = 5 mm /1/5".

• Ensure that the appliance is turned off

before attaching a trimming comb.

• We recommend that you start with the long

trimming comb. Slide it over the regular
cutting head (2) until it clicks into place.

• Turn on the appliance and gently comb

your eyebrow or any other body hair to
be trimmed against the direction of hair
growth as shown in (c). Ensure that either
one of the comb sides is guided flat
against the skin.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always turn off the appliance before cleaning.
Clean the appliance after each use:

• Use the brush (9) to wipe away any hair or

dust.

• Alternatively, you can rinse the detached

cutting heads under warm running water.
A natural soap may also be used, provided
it contains no particles or abrasive sub­stances. Rinse off all foam.

• Please ensure that the cutting head is

complete dry before attaching to the body.

• For storage, attach the protective cap (1).
Regularly check the cutting heads. If dam­aged, please replace them.
Never use the appliance if the cutting head is
damaged or broken.

We recommend lubricating the cutter
element in the head with a drop of light
machine oil twice a year or after cleaning
with tap water.

Piles

Cet appareil fonctionne avec une pile AAA
1,5 V. Pour une performance optimale, nous
recommandons l’utilisation d’une pile alcaline
manganeuse (type LR03, AM4, AAA, par
exemple Duracell).

• Veuillez vous assurer que l’appareil est

hors tension.

• Retirez le couvercle du compartiment à

piles (4) en le tirant vers le bas (a).

• Insérez la pile en respectant la polarité

(+ et –) telle qu’indiquée.

• Fermez le compartiment à piles.

Note : Si l’appareil n’est pas utilisé pendant
une longue période, veuillez retirer la pile
(risque de fuites). Retirez immédiatement la
pile usagée de l’appareil.

Les piles usagées ne doivent pas être

jetées dans la poubelle domestique.

Veuillez les jeter dans des bornes de
collecte spécifiques ou remettez-les à votre
revendeur ou encore à un centre de service
agréé.

Mode d’emploi de SilkFinish

Votre rasoir SilkFinish est livré avec deux
têtes de coupe ultra minces permettant des
largeurs de coupe différentes. Les deux têtes
bénéficient d'une conception unique leur
permettant de retirer en toute sécurité et
au plus près toute pilosité indésirable sur
différentes zones de votre visage ou de votre
corps (sourcils, joues, lèvres supérieures,
etc.).

La tête de coupe normale (2) est parfaite
pour le rasage ou pour raccourcir les poils.
La tête de coupe de précision (8) convient
parfaitement pour peaufiner les détails et
pour raser les poils rebelles.

Première utilisation

• Retirez le capuchon de protection (1).

• Faites coulisser l'interrupteur marche/arrêt

(3) afin de mettre l'appareil sous tension.

• Posez la tête de coupe sur la zone à raser

et faites la glisser doucement dans la
direction opposée à la pousse des poils.
