Oral-B Pulsonic has been carefully designed to offer you and your
family a unique brushing experience that is both safe and effective.
However, when using electrical products, basic safety precautions
should always be followed.
Read all instructions before using.
DANGER
In order to reduce the risk of electrocution:
1. Do not place or store the charger where it can fall or be pulled
into a tub or sink.
2. Do not place the charger in water or other liquid.
3. Do not reach for a charger that has fallen into water. Unplug
immediately.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire or injury:
1. Close supervision is necessary when this product is either used
by or near children or invalids.
2. Use this product only for its intended use as described in this
manual. Do not use attachments or chargers not recommended
by the manufacturer.
3. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
4. Never drop the appliance or insert any object into any opening
of the appliance.
5. Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it
is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged or if
it has been dropped into water. If any of these occur, please
contact a service center and return the product for examination
and repair.
IMPORTANT
1. Periodically check the cord for damage. If cord is damaged,
take the charging unit to an Oral-B Braun Service Center. A
damaged or non-functioning unit should no longer be used.
2. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands. This can cause
electric shock.
3. When unplugging, always hold the power plug instead of the
cord.
4. Do not put metal objects such as coins and clips on the
charger. This may generate heat damaging the unit and heating
the metal item presenting a potential burn hazard.
5. Do not modify the product. Do not disassemble or repair. This
may cause fire, electric shock or injury. Consult your dealer for
repairs or contact an Oral-B Braun Service center. Do not
disassemble the product except when disposing of the battery.
6. When taking out the battery for disposal, use caution not to
short the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
7. This product is not intended for use by children under age three.

Connecting and charging
The toothbrush is electrically safe and can be used in the bathroom without
hesitation.
• Plug the charging unit (g) into an electrical outlet and place the handle (f)
on the charging unit 1.
• A full charge takes at least 12 hours and will provide an operation time of
approximately 30 minutes.
• For everyday use, the handle can be stored on the plugged-in charging
unit to maintain the toothbrush at full power. Overcharging is impossible.
• To maintain the maximum capacity of the rechargeable battery, unplug
the charging unit and fully discharge the handle by regular use at least
every 6 months.

Attaching the brush head
Slide the brush head (a) on the handle and turn until it clicks into place as
shown in picture 2.
Brushing modes
Oral-B Pulsonic offers different brushing modes for varying oral care needs:
«Clean» – Gentle, effective mouth cleaning.
«Sensitive» – Gentle cleaning for sensitive areas.
Your toothbrush automatically starts in the «Clean» mode when pressing
the on/off button (c) 3. To shift from the «Clean» to the «Sensitive» mode,
press the on/off button once again. To turn your toothbrush off, press the
on/off button.
Brushing technique
• Wet brush head and apply toothpaste. You can use it with any
toothpaste.
• To avoid splashing place the brush head on your teeth, then switch on.
• Move the brush head in a slightly circular motion, similar to a manual
toothbrush 4.
• After a few seconds, guide the bristles to the next section
• During the first few days of use, it is possible that your gums may bleed
slightly. Should bleeding persist after 2 weeks, contact your dentist.
• Replace brush head every 3 months or when bristles are worn.
Timer
A short stuttering sound at 30-second intervals (one break), which
you can hear and feel, reminds you to brush the four quadrants of
your mouth equally for a better overall clean.

A long stuttering sound (two breaks) indicates when the professionally
recommended 2-minute brushing time has been reached.
Precision Tip
The Precision Tip (b) is designed for cleaning between teeth as well as
around bridges, crowns and implants. To use, position at a 45 degree angle
to gumline and slowly guide it along the gumline from one interdental
space to the next
.

Cleaning
Switch off the handle and remove the brush head. Rinse both the brush
head and handle under running water and wipe them dry 6.
From time to time also clean the charging unit with a damp cloth. For
thorough cleaning you may remove the handle stand by pushing the
release button on top of the charging unit.
Environmental notice
This product is provided with a nickel-metal hydride battery, which does
not contain any harmful heavy metals. Nevertheless, in the interest of
protecting the environment, please do not dispose of the product in the
household waste at the end of its useful life. Disposal can take place at an
Oral-B Braun Service Center or at approved recycling or disposing
locations in accordance with local regulations.

Oral-B Braun warrants this appliance to be free of defects in
material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date
of original purchase at retail.
If the appliance exhibits such a defect, Oral-B Braun will, at its
option, repair or replace it without cost for parts and labor. The
product must be carried in or shipped, prepaid and insured

Proof of date of original purchase is required.

In the event this appliance fails to function within the specified
warranty period because of defects in material or workmanship,
and the consumer returns the unit to an authorized service center,
Braun Canada will, at its option either repair or replace the unit

2. Ne pas toucher le cordon les mains mouillées pour éviter un
choc électrique.
3. Toujours tenir la fiche d‘alimentation électrique et non le cordon
au moment de débrancher l’appareil de la prise électrique.
4. Ne pas mettre d‘objets de métal sur le chargeur, comme des
pièces de monnaie ou des agrafes, puisque cela pourrait
entraîner un réchauffement de l’unité causant des dommages
ainsi qu’un risque de brûlure causé par le morceau de métal.
5. Ne pas modifier le produit. Ne pas le désassembler ni le réparer
puisque cela pourrait causer un incendie, un choc électrique ou
des blessures. Consulter votre détaillant pour les réparations ou
communiquer avec un centre de réparation Oral-B Braun. Ne
pas désassembler le produit, sauf pour jeter la pile.
6. Faire attention de ne pas court-circuiter les bornes positives (+)
et négatives (–) au moment de retirer la pile pour la jeter.
7. L’utilisation de ce produit par les enfants de moins de trois ans

Branchement et chargement
La brosse à dents est un appareil électrique sécuritaire qui a été conçu
spécialement pour être utilisé dans la salle de bain.
• Brancher le dispositif de charge (g) dans une prise de courant et placer
le manche de la brosse à dents (f) sur le dispositif de charge 1.
• Le chargement complet nécessite au moins 12 heures et permettra
l‘utilisation de la brosse à dents pendant environ 30 minutes.
• Pour l‘utilisation quotidienne, le manche de la brosse à dents peut être
rangé sur le dispositif de charge afin d’être maintenu à puissance
maximale. Il est impossible de surcharger la brosse à dents.
• Afin de maintenir la capacité maximale de la pile rechargeable,
débrancher le dispositif de charge et décharger complètement le
manche en utilisant la brosse à dents de façon régulière. Cela devrait
effectué au minimum une fois tous les 6 mois.
Utilisation de votre brosse à dents
Fixation de la brossette
Fixer la brossette (a) au manche et la tourner jusqu’à ce que vous
entendiez un déclic comme sur l’illustration 2.
Modes de brossage
La brosse à dents Oral-B Pulsonic offre différents modes de brossage afin
de mieux répondre à vos besoins :
« Nettoyage » – Nettoyage doux et efficace de la bouche.
« Sensible » – Nettoyage doux des endroits sensibles.
Votre brosse à dents sera automatiquement en mode « Nettoyage » lorsque
vous appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt (c) 3. Pour passer du mode
« Nettoyage » au mode « Sensible », appuyer sur le bouton marche/arrêt
une fois de plus. Pour arrêter la brosse à dents, appuyer sur le bouton
marche/arrêt.
Techniques de brossage
• Mouiller la brossette sous l’eau et appliquer du dentifrice. Vous pouvez
l‘utiliser avec n‘importe quel dentifrice.
• Pour éviter les éclaboussures, placer la brossette sur vos dents avant de
mettre la brosse en marche.
• Déplacer la brossette en un mouvement circulaire, comme lorsque vous
utilisez une brosse à dents manuelle 4.
• Après quelques secondes, guider les soies vers une autre section.
• Au cours des premiers jours d’utilisation, il se peut que vos gencives
saignent légèrement. Si elles continuent de saigner après 2 semaines,
communiquez avec votre dentiste.
• Remplacer la brossette tous les 3 mois ou lorsque les soies sont usées.
Minuterie
Un signal court et saccadé se fera entendre et sentir à des
intervalles de 30 secondes (une pause) pour vous rappeler de
brosser également les quatre quadrants de votre bouche afin d’en

Nettoyage
Mettre la brosse à dents en mode d’arrêt et retirer la brossette. Rincer la

Pour un nettoyage en profondeur, retirer le support pour manche en

contient pas de métaux lourds nocifs. Néanmoins, dans le but de protéger
