Uso

Tutte le operazioni relative all’installazione (al lac ciamen to elettrico) devono essere eseguite da personale qua li ficato secondo le norme vigenti. Per le istruzioni specifiche vedi la parte riservata al l’installatore.

(Fig. 1) Il barbecue consente di effettuare rapide cotture alla griglia. Agendo sulla manopola di comando posta sul frontalino si accende la resistenza che può cuocere più o meno velocemente in funzione della posizione scelta da 1 a 11. Il funzionamento come grill si ottiene ruotando la manopola sulla posizione 11. Si avvertirà infatti un leggero scatto che indica l’esclusione del termostato e la resistenza diverrà in breve arroventata. Ciò non significa che non si possano effettuare ottime cotture alla griglia anche nelle posizioni intermedie, anzi, tali posizioni sono consigliate nelle cotture di pietanze delicate o quando si voglia ottenere una cottura uniforme dei cibi anche nelle parti interne. La roccia lavica contenuta nella vaschetta ha la funzione di assorbire le gocce di olio o di grasso che si producono durante la cottura; inoltre accumula calore durante la prima fase di funzionamento della resistenza e consente quindi, successivamente, di ottenere una grigliatura più uniforme che è molto simile a quella che si ottiene usando la carbonella. Nella vaschetta, al posto della roccia lavica, può essere messa acqua (strato consigliato circa 3 cm). La presenza di acqua nella vaschetta elimina l’insorgere di odori sgradevoli, senza minimamente compromettere le prestazioni del barbecue. Per ottenere migliori risultati si consiglia quindi di preriscaldare la roccia lavica per almeno 10 minuti sulla posizione 1. Questo accorgimento è particolarmente consigliato in occasione della prima accensione dell’apparecchio, perché permette di diminuire il rischio che durante la cottura le vivande assorbano gli odori che la resistenza produce durante la prima accensione.

Manutenzione

Pri ma di ogni operazione disinserire elettricamente l’appa recchiatura. Per una maggiore durata dell’apparecchiatura è in dispen sabile eseguire periodicamente un’accurata pulizia ge nerale tenendo presente quanto segue:

- le parti in acciaio e/o smaltate devono essere pulite con prodotti idonei (reperibili in commercio) non a brasi vi o corrosivi. Evitare prodotti a base di cloro (va recchi na, ecc.);

- evitare di lasciare sul piano lavoro sostanze acide o al ca line (aceto, sale, succo di limone, ecc.).

QUESTO APPARECCHIO NON DEVE ESSERE UTILIZZATO CON CARBONE O COMBUSTIBILE SIMILARE.

Le presenti istruzioni sono rivolte all’installatore qua lifi cato quale guida all’installazione, regolazione e ma nuten zione secondo le leggi e le normative in vigore. Gli interventi devono sempre essere effettuati ad ap parec chiatura disinserita elettricamente.

(Fig. 2) L’apparecchio è previsto per essere incassato in un piano di lavoro come illustrato nell’apposita figura. Pre disporre su tutto il perimetro del piano il sigillante a cor redo.

Prima di effettuare l’allacciamento elettrico accertarsi che:

- le caratteristiche dell’impianto siano tali da soddisfare quan to indicato sulla targa matricola applicata sul fondo del piano:

- l’impianto sia munito di un efficace collegamento di ter ra secondo le norme e le disposizioni di legge in vi go re. La messa a terra è obbligatoria a termini di legge. Nel caso che l’apparecchiatura non sia munita di cavo e/o di relativa spina utilizzare materiale idoneo per l’as sorbimento indicato in targa matricola e per la tempe ratura di lavoro. Il cavo in nessun punto dovrà raggiun gere una temperatura superiore di 50 °C a quella am biente. Desiderando un collegamento diretto alla rete, è ne cessa rio interporre un interruttore onnipolare con apertura mi nima fra i contatti di 3 mm dimensionato per il carico di targa e rispondere alle norme in vigore (il cavo di ter ra giallo/verde non deve essere interrotto dal l’in terrut tore). La presa o l’interruttore onnipolare devono es se re facilmente raggiungibili con l’apparechiatura in stal lata.

Installation

Use (Fig.1) The barbecue allows you to grill your food fast.

All the operations relating to the installation (electrical connection) must be carried out by qualified personnel according to the regulations in force.

Using the control knob on the front panel, you can turn on the heater that can cook faster or more slowly, according to the settings from 1 to 11. It works as a grill by turning the knob to position 11. You will notice a slight click that shows that the thermostat has been turned off, and the heating coil soon gets red hot. This does not mean that you cannot get very good grilling results from the intermediate positions. On the contrary, these positions are recommended for cooking delicate dishes, or to cook the food evenly overall, and right into the middle as well. The lava rock in the tray is provided to absorb the drips of oil or grease that are produced during cooking. As well, it accumulates heat during the start-up phase of the heater, and so gives you a more constant grilling performance, which is very similar to that obtained from charcoal. Water can be put into the tray, instead of the lava rock. (We suggest a depth of about 3 cm or one inch.) The presence of water in the tray eliminates unpleasant cooking smells, without reducing the performance of the barbecue in any way. To obtain the best results, we therefore recommend preheating the lava rock for at least 10 minutes at position

1. This is particularly advisable when you turn on the equipment for the first time, because it allows you to reduce the risk, during cooking, of the food absorbing smells that the heating coil produces when it is first switched on.

Maintenance

Before doing any operation, cut off the electricity from the apparatus. In order to give your equipment a long life, it is vital to thoroughly clean it all over, remembering the following points:

- the steel and/or painted parts must be cleaned using suitable products (available on the market) which are not abrasive or corrosive. Avoid products based on chlorine (bleach, etc);

- avoid leaving acids or alkalis on the work surface (vinegar, salt, lemon-juice, etc.)

CHARCOAL OR SIMILAR COMBUSTIBLE FUEL MUST NOT BE USED WITH THIS APPLIANCE.
